The scene begins with a darkened sky crackling with violent purple energy. A massive tear in the fabric of space pulses ominously, with a swirl of black mist slowly consuming the horizon.
In the beginning, the universe was divided. Worlds were separated by vast, unknowable forces—until the day the boundaries broke. The Primordial Monarchs, beings of unimaginable power, with advancements in both magic and scientific technology, embarked on a conquest of the universe. And so, the First War began.
An ancient battlefield emerges, scarred and cracked, filled with the twisted remains of once-grand cities. Massive titans (part machine and part demon), lock into battle with gods clad in radiant, celestial armor. At the center of the chaos, the colossal and imposing Primordial Monarchs stand as gods fall beneath their might.
The gods, their powers unmatched across the realms, had ruled for eons. But when the Primordial Monarchs came, they brought technology far beyond anything the gods had ever known. Magic fused with science, and the earth itself trembled.
A blinding light flashes in the sky marking the death of a god. A celestial being plummets from the heavens, crashing into the ground and leaving only a burning, desolate crater. Scattered amidst the destruction lie fragments of what appear to be divine artifacts, their mystical glow dimmed.
The gods fought valiantly, but against the invincible might of technology, they were outmatched. Due to the nature of their divine power, they were thought to be unkillable, resurrecting again and again. Or so they believed—until abyssal demons of disproportionate size emerged, ramming into them, absorbing their divine power, and marking their true death.
But the creation revolted against its creator. As the gods were nearly defeated, the abyssal demons turned their wrath upon Monarchs, forcing them into retreat. What the Monarchs left behind would shape the universe's fate in ways they could not foresee.
The scene shifts to a hidden, ancient city, now in ruins. A shimmering barrier glows with power, surrounding the remnants of Gods marking their last refuge. Within its confines, the surviving deities gathered, divided in two groups, plotting their next moves.
"We cannot let the humans survive," muses Kratos (the deity of strength). "They are the only experimental beings made directly from the blood and genes of the Monarchs. They mustn't know their true purpose. Their potential is too dangerous... They must never learn the truth."
In the aftermath of the war, the surviving gods were divided by conflict. Their disagreements would shape the fate of humanity and the worlds— but their reasons remained shrouded in secrecy.
A rift opens above a new world—Bluestar, a planet suspended in time, where the remnants of humanity have thrived since the war. Thus, humanity was banished to Aquamarine (one half of the entire Bluestar), a new world created to suppress the forces of the Abyss and hidden from the eyes of the invaders. It became a barrier between realms, between the past and the future.
The scene transitions to a massive structure standing at the edge of the world, its design alien and foreboding, glowing faintly with energy. The rift at its core pulses ominously, a tear in reality that defies comprehension. A group of adventurers stands nearby, their expressions a mix of awe and dread.
Now, in the present day, the Abyss stirs once again. The worlds are shifting, the barriers weakening. At the Edge, the fate of all three lands will be decided.
The focus shifts on a lone figure standing in front of the massive array—a young adventurer clad in tattered armor. His eyes burn with determination.
This is the story of one man who will discover the truth of the Abyss and uncover the legacy of the gods and Monarchs.
But this narration also raises some important questions:
Why were humans spared?
What is their connection to the Monarchs?
Why is the Edge so important?
THE END
