"Hah! Now I get it! Qin Zhuzhu, you purposely chose to work here because you knew that my brother was going to attend the Tianjin Tech event. I didn't expect you to resort to such means to seduce my brother!" Xu Lan accused out loud.
"You lowly woman! Last time, you injured us. Now you want to harm my brother and future sister in law. Grandpa was really blind to let you marry into the family!" Xu Jing berated her.
Everyone turned to stare at them. Some already took out their phones and were recording the scene before them.
In their minds, they were making ugly comments about Qin Zhuzhu already. Some of them started to gossip with their friends.
"Seduce your brother? Are you going to tell everyone that Xu Meng married a cheap woman like me? Or that he cheated behind my back when he was married to me? What do you think the public will think about his behaviour? Will they trust him and the Xu family business?" Qin Zhuzhu smirked coldly. She wasn't afraid to call herself what they were insulting her with; a cheap woman.
"Y-you!" Xu Lan was shocked by her words! Even Xu Meng furrowed his brows and Bai Qianhua obviously looked uncomfortable. Everyone started speaking noisily. Gossips fire everywhere like bullets across the hall.
"Does that mean that Miss Bai who's sitting beside Mr. Xu's side is a mistress?" One girl said.
"Why does she seem like a homewrecker to me?" Another talked loudly.
"She's the third woman in the relationship!?" Another woman was in disbelief.
"Then the Xu family discarded her for Miss Bai because Miss Qin had no money. I just realized the shocking truth!" A man cried out.
Xu Meng couldn't stand it anymore and slammed the table.
"Qin Zhuzhu! What are you doing? Why do you want to spread rumours about Qianhua? What are your motives!?" He spat at her.
Seeing how strongly he protected Bai Qianhua, Qin Zhuzhu couldn't help but sneer. He never treated her like this when they were married. Let alone even look at her so tenderly like how he did with Bai Qianhua. In his eyes, she was malicious and vicious so no matter what she says, he would never believe her.
"Is it not the truth?" Qin Zhuzhu said calmly. "You had an affair while we were married. How do you deny that? I never once chastised you about your affair. Are you by any chance having more affairs behind my back?"
Everyone gasped.
"You vicious woman!" Xu Meng's nostrils flared. He wanted to slap her but he had to control himself for the sake of his image.
"I am a vicious woman. Then are you not a vicious man too? I never cheat nor lie to you but you did to me. Be careful Miss Bai, if he can cheat on me behind my back, he can do the same to you," Qin Zhuzhu said icily.
Bai Qianhua went pale in the face while Xu Meng's face twisted into anger.
"You can't stand seeing me happy with her so you worked here to spread rumours about Qianhua. Qianhua is gentle and sweet, what wrong did she do to you to make you hate her so much!? From now on, I won't allow you to smear Qianhua's name!" Xu Meng announced it to everyone.
Bai Qianhua got up and wrapped her arms around Xu Meng and tugged him lightly.
"Brother Xu, please don't get angry. I was wrong. I will leave right away," Bai Qianhua turned to leave but Xu Meng grabbed her hands.
"I don't allow you to give way to this bitch! Qianhua, my heart only has you. I have been in love with you for many years. If it wasn't for grandpa's interference, I would never have married this bitch. Qianhua, I won't let anyone treat you badly," Xu Meng reassured her sweetly.
Bai Qianhua smiled and hugged Xu Meng lovingly. She cast a sly glance at Qin Zhuzhu. Her eyes were different when they faced Qin Zhuzhu. The gentleness and sweetness from earlier was gone and replaced with a scheming look. A White lotus!
Seeing her ex-husband and his lover act lovey dovey in front of her made Qin Zhuzhu's heart sink even deeper. Qin Zhuzhu already figured out what type of woman this Bai Qianhua was.

Before she could slap her face, a hand grabbed her wrist in midair.

Xu Lan looked up and met a pair of beautiful seductive eyes and her anger decreased immediately.
However, the man released her wrist and took out a handkerchief to wipe his hands as if touching Xu Lan was a dirty thing.
His actions insulted Xu Lan.
"Hey! Why are you acting like that? Do you know what kind of woman she is? Why are you standing up for this cheap bitch?" Xu Lan said.
"The only cheap bitch I know is you," the man replied with a twinkle in his eyes.
"Y-you!" Xu Lan was rendered speechless by the handsome stranger in front of her. He was strikingly handsome with sharp features and well-shaped eyebrows. His suit accentuated his muscular figure and Xu Lan could see the upper part of his chest. He didn't button the top three buttons of his shirt.
Qin Zhuzhu turned her head to see that the stranger from earlier helped her. Shentu Jing smiled at her. He probably saw everything about her and her ex husband.
"An adulteress and adulterer! Qin Zhuzhu, this is your new boyfriend? Hah! I expected more from you but it seems like you only can find yourself some cheap man!"
