"I investigated it all by myself. If you're thinking I'm doing this to topple the Shentu family on behalf of the Qiaos, then I have to say you're wrong. I have evidence and proof after seven years of studying it," Qiao ShenJi said in a hushed whisper, suddenly sounding secretive and dangerous at the same time.
He was challenging Shentu Jing, daring him to look into a past event that could possibly ruin him.
"If you don't mind, I'd like to view your evidence and proof. I want to know whether your claim is valid," Shentu Jing said. He was up for the challenge. He never backed down from a challenge. The two men shook hands again, sealing an agreement—this time without wrestling with each other's hands.
