Entering the Veldari system, the Liberation Fleet which Daimon has decided to call the fleet had emerged from Hyperspace. 400 ships with state-of-the-art technology had begun their approach to Veldari. Unlike an actual empire, the false emperor, Kaelor, had no fleet as it would take a long time to just bring the Gen'Dai clan from a clan-based society to a modern space-faring society.
And while Kaelor had the knowledge of the Dark artifacts left behind by the Rakata, he didn't have the knowledge on how to create new technology or build ships. Nobody from the Republic wanted any part in Veldari after he took over, preventing any outside investment.
The Dark Jedi tried to reach out to Veldari, yet Kaelor didn't like them as they wielded the powers of the Force naturally, while he couldn't. His power came from artifacts which made him incredibly strong and allowed him to corrupt others using the artifacts.
In fact, he has almost 200 million Gen'Dai corrupted by his artifacts, which is half of the entire population.
Nearing the orbit of Veldari, the Liberation Fleet had begun to launch wings of fighters in preparation for the invasion of the planet. Surrounding Daimon's capital ship, the Aegis, were the 8 Tho Yor ships. They were here to counter the effects of the Dark Jedi's own artifacts and allow Daimon to spread his own Force power throughout the planet.
The 8 Tho Yor would be positioned in 8 different locations around the planet to act as amplifiers, thus neutralizing the influence of Kaelor's dark artifacts and enabling Daimon to extend his Force power over the entire planet. Each Tho Yor ship would be defended by 100k Gen'Dai soldiers and one of the 10 Force Scion legions.
The remaining 2 legions would be leading offensive combat efforts to across the planet, taking key locations, and assisting the regular soldiers as needed.
Once the entire world was engulfed in his energy, Daimon would be able to significantly improve their combat abilities and coordination across the entire planet, while also weakening the enemy forces. After that was done, he would take the fight directly to Kaelor and eliminate him once and for all.
The tactical display lit up as the Liberation Fleet began its assault on Veldari. Since the planet had no defense fleet, Daimon had the fleet target the defenses that the planet had before they descended into the atmosphere. Using the Force to locate the defenses from orbit, he gave each ship their targets.
Hundreds of Turbolasers bolts were shot out from the fleet heading directly towards the planet, hitting key defensive locations and strongholds. Immediately after they hit, Daimon ordered the fleet to begin the next phase. "All ships commence atmospheric entry and head to your assigned locations. The real fight begins now." He ordered.
The entire fleet started its descent into the planet. Once the ships breached the atmosphere, they started to break up into 10 groups, with 8 of the groups following the Tho Yor to their designated positions.
Already moved to his command center within his palace, Kaelor was caught off guard by the sudden attack. First their defenses were hit from orbit by strange weapons, then the next thing he sees is ships descending into the atmosphere. Their only explanation for this was a foreign invasion.
He began to rally those who were already corrupted while forcing the others to fight off these invaders. Any who didn't want to fight would be killed, he had no need for the unwilling.
The first wave of Gen'Dai troops had landed in key locations around the world, setting up command posts and their logistics. While the first wave secured key positions, the second wave pushed through the hamlets and villages, freeing innocent civilians caught in the crossfire.
Everywhere they went they would find the Gen'Dai people who had been corrupted by Kaelor's dark artifacts. Using their own abilities to contain them and keep them from causing further harm.
Raelos Vyn was leading his legion called the 'Zenith Blades'. Similar to Raelos, the Zenith Blades is legion of master duelists and warriors, wielding weapons infused with both Light and Dark, bring balance through warfare, ensuring no enemy stands against them.
With his two energy blades in hands, he cut down waves of enemies as he led his legion and the regular soldiers under his command to take one of the 78 cities on the planet. Cortana established parameters for what they should consider a city based on population and structural density.
As the siege began, the 8 Tho Yor ships had gotten into their positions with their escort ships and ground troops establishing a large perimeter around them. Reaching out, connecting to each one, Daimon began to spread his Force energy throughout the planet.
The immense amount of Force energy that began to flow around the planet had not only got rid of the darkness which clouded the planet but also caused intense Force storms to occur all over the planet.
As Daimon's energy surged through the planet, the oppressive influence of Kaelor's dark artifacts began to wane. The corrupted Gen'Dai, once driven into a mindless fury by the artifacts, hesitated as their connection to the darkness was severed. Some collapsed, overwhelmed by the sudden change. Others, still clinging to their corruption, roared in defiance, rallying under Kaelor's call to arms.
Thunder began to strike the ground as the Force storms intensified, their raw energy traveling through the battlefield. The Zenith Blades, wearing their Exo-Suits, advanced through the shattered streets, their Lightsabers shining on the nearby buildings. Raelos led the charge, his movements a blur as each strike severed the bonds of darkness and cut down those who resisted.
From the eastern approach, the Stormborne Legion, led by Liraen Vos, made their assault on the heavily fortified city of Karvoss. As the Supreme Strategist of the Imperium, she had deployed her forces with precision, using the Force storms to their advantage. The intense winds blinded the defenders, while the Stormborne Legion charged in, taking advantage of the enemy's weakness. Walkers and siege tanks pressed forward, laying down suppressive fire as infantry units advanced behind them.
Kaelor, watching from his dark throne, slammed his fist against the armrest. His power was waning, his control slipping through his grasp. "Damn these foreigners." he shouted.
One of his top Commanders walked in, carrying with him some drastic news. "Your Majesty, there are enemy ships descending on the city as we speak. I suggest we get you out of here."
"You suggest, I run away!" shouted Kaelor. He couldn't believe that one of his top commanders was suggesting such a thing. They were being invaded by Foreigners and here he was trying to run instead of fighting for their homeworld.
From above, Daimon had opened the doors of his shuttle, looking down on the palace below him. The enemy soldiers on the ground were desperately trying to shoot the shuttles down, but the Force storms combined with their weakened physical ability by Daimon's Force energy severely restricted them.
"Everybody follow me," ordered Daimon as he jumped out of the Shuttle falling directly above where Kaelor was standing. Before he hit the roof of the building, he blasted a hole big enough for him and everybody else, landing directly in the throne room where Kaelor was.
Beneath where he landed was Kaelor's top Commander who he had been talking to before. Startled by the entrance, he grabbed his staff and pointed it at Daimon. "Considering the fact that you have just broken into my palace, you must be the one in charge of this invasion," He was surprised to see the person leading this invasion was a fellow Gen'Dai.
"Indeed, I am the one in charge. Your time is up Kaelor, I have allowed you to exist for too long. Now it is time for you to be removed from this galaxy and for me to lead the Gen'Dai into the new age."
"Ha! Removed from this galaxy? Who are you to decide such things?" Kaelor retaliated, rising from his throne. A few guards had run in and started attacking the Adepts who also fought back. "We got this, Sir, just deal with that monster," voiced one of the Adepts.
Daimon nodded and turned back to Kaelor who began walking towards him. He was thinking in his head how long did he wanted to drag this fight on. Ending it too quickly would just be mercy for Kaelor who didn't deserve it.
Kaelor's eyes were filled with so much hatred as he stepped down from his throne. He was a little shorter than Daimon and was wearing some Dark armor embedded with some of the ancient Rakata technology which he managed to replicate.
"I have ruled Veldari for decades," Kaelor snarled. "You think a fleet and some warriors can unseat me? I have united our people and brought about the golden age for the entire planet."
'Golden age' Daimon thought to himself, wondering how delusional one person can be. Then again, this was the person who tried to rule by corrupting people, instead of uniting them normally. If he had just united the planet normally, then Daimon might be in a tough position right now.
But because of his reliance on artifacts, Kaelor had a weakness that Daimon exploited.
Grabbing the weapon of the dead commander on the ground, Daimon charged at Kaelor swinging the staff in a downward motion. Kaelor reacted instinctively, blocking the attack head on. The sheer force from the attack had pushed his feet into the ground. His grip tightened on his weapon as he stared defiantly at Daimon. "You fight well for a foreigner."
"And you fight well for a tyrant," Daimon countered, punching Kaelor in his face. 'Alright he can take 5% of my power, now let's increase it'.
