"What do you mean you still can't find them!? Well they gotta be somewhere! Or do you want to say we buried him with them! I already found someone to buy that damn thing! So find the damn papers!" From inside Matt's room , I hear his mother yell .
Something tells me that she is talking about the same papers that are inside the file that am holding right now outside Matt's door , I was gonna give them to him because he works there.
I hear her footsteps and I rush hiding . When she disappears I go back in my room with the file.
If she is talking about the papers then it must mean that she wants to sell dad's company! But how the hell did the file get in my room?!
I put it under the mattress of my bed , maybe I should find out what's going on first before I decide to hand them over.
Suddenly I remember I had a guest. Looking at the bedside table , the food that I brought for him is still there and he's not in the room.
"Lucky, are you in here?!" I open the bathroom door but he's not in , he's probably gone again, but with clothes this time , with my favourite hoodie that I lent to him .
I take my laptop and decide to search about some weird behaviours he has and also about his wound earlier, but all the answers I get don't make sense to me , I don't even watch fantasy , it's just not my thing , so it's really funny when they tell me Lucky could be one of those fantasies.
I put my laptop aside hoping that he is fine wherever he is now , and is out of trouble , I take my sleeping pills because it's the only way I can get some sleep now.

I jerk , jumping out of my bed and fall on the floor when someone pours water on me , I open my eyes widely , still terrified.
"Pretending to sleep when you just did your evil act just now?! No one is gonna buy your pretence! Downstairs now!!" She yells as always!
"What have I done now?" I mumble to myself , I look at the watch on the wall and it says , 3 am!
Maybe I should really consider moving out!
I stand up and as am about to take off my soggy clothes , she comes back , pulling me out.
Downstairs I see the police , my body go numb, but she help me get downstairs by pulling me.
"Merlin?" One of them asks looking at me unbelievably.
"Yes" I answer my voice shaking as much as my body.
"You are under arrest for the murder of Allison Waugh!"
"What?! What are you talking about?!" I ask not believing a wince of what they are saying. First that Allison is dead?! And second that I killed her?!
"Stop pretending already! I knew you were a little devil since the moment that man brought you in this house!" My stepmother whispers near my ear.
"Merlin , am detective Grant , we've talked to your classmates and they have confirmed that these clothes, especially the hoodie is yours , and we found them covering Allison's dead body at her birthday party , up in her room in the bathroom! They also say , there's no doubt you did it because you hated her , and you had many reasons to do what you did, last year before summer break , you were exposed that you had a crush on her and you took pictures of her privately , you had written some things about her in your books and you were exposed. She hated it and felt gross about it so she embarrassed you about it , she made you a laughing stoke , and she hasn't given you a break since then , bullying you and all that!"
"It's true but I would never think of killing her ! Leave alone her , I would never think of killing anyone! I didn't even know she had a party! I wasn't at the party! " Tears roll down my cheeks as everything load down on me .
She holds big parties that she invites everyone , but I never even for once thought of going!
There's no doubt Lucky did it! But how did he get there?!
"Then how do you explain about your clothes?!"
I have nothing to say to that! This is all my fault and I can't blame anyone but myself. Taking in someone I don't know even when he's been acting weird and giving my clothes to him.
But then , I can just tell them that it's him , but am not saying anything.
Since I have no more word to protect myself, they put the cuffs on me and as they start dragging me out, I hear an unmistakable voice from up the stairs.
"Sto..pu!"
It's him ! It's really him! His upper body bare , today he remembered to leave some clothes on his body , killing and leaving my clothes there for evidence.
Anger rises up in me! He killed her! If I were free I would have met him already and punch the hell out of him.
In a blink of an eye, he is down , pushing everyone I away from me, hitting others on the wall! Including my so called mother and siblings.
"Stop! Stop it!" I yell but he's not listening. He breaks the cuffs on hands, now I don't even want to wonder how he has done it. "You killer! You killed her! Now you want to kill other people?!" I yell , he stops looking at me as if trying to understand what am saying , or maybe wondering why am relling at him when he's trying to help me!
He looks at the clothes on the table , the ones he had on and then He suddenly starts shaking his head like he had just joined the dots!
The police stand up , showing their guns at him. The detective's phone rings and she picks it up still looking tensed.
"What do you mean by his finger prints don't match the one's on her body?! His clothes were there and he confirmed they are his!"
She listens for a moment then her face forms a shocked expression. "No way! You mean her boyfriend Sebastian?!"
The energy in my body drains off and I feel myself staggering behind . Only for Lucky to pull me!
"Am sorry for our hurried judgement! We're leaving but I still have some questions for you Merlin and your friend ! He is going in jail for violence!" The detective says.
"Hold on , what happened to her? Did you find who did it?!" I ask curiously after hearing Sebastian. Her creepy bastard boyfriend!
"They say his boyfriend did it , the fingerprints and other things confirm it, and he is holding you accountable because the fights were about you , apparently Allison wanted to leave him for you and Sebastian thought _you are a looser , and you can't win over him, so he decided that if it's not him , she can't be with anyone else! Am sorry about that but I still don't understand how your clothes were there, covering her body if you were not there!"
"I lent my clothes to my cousin , he has been going through a lot lately so he wanted to go out and clear his mind, he might have heard of the party there and decided to go , his mental state is not good at the moment, so maybe he found her and thought she was sleeping so he decided to cover her!" I say feeling extremely glad that Lucky didn't do it, he loves bathrooms , he must have found one there .
Her phone vibrates again and she looks at the screen then at LuckyLee , "Found the one who was in your clothes , if his mental state is not good then he shouldn't be roaming around." She says looking at my stepmother.
"Oh trust me I had no idea Merlin had his mental unstable cousin in this house, I have never even seen him , when I decide to help this boy and gave him a home , I didn't know he had any family , but that's okay , now that he is here , we can find a way to help him." What a pretender!
