*Nova's pov*
The kitchen was busy as soldiers came and went for gaurd duty and patrolling. Nova was worried she hadn't seen her father which was weird he was a general after all.
She watched as the soldiers came and went some talking about, how the enemy army got in? "It is weird right?" A chef asked her as she was cutting vegetables, " the barrier should still be strong, valova has tried lots of times to get in but always fell so why does it break now?" She finished.
"I don't know but I want to find out what happened and how? Since they took my sister!" Nova responded as she started to wash the dishes.
" Maybe someone should investigate, never know we could have a traitor among us," the chef said back as she put the veggies in a pot with other ingredients.
Nova nodded as she dried her hands on her apron. "It could be possible, but who ever is the traitor must be suffering for their choses." Nova whispered.
She already had a suspect but didn't want anyone to know, her father disappeared before the enemy army got in, he was only one who wasn't here.
Helping the staff out distracted her from losing her sister and the thought of her father who most likely betrayed them.
"I'll go see if Shina needs help with the laundry," Nova said quietly as she left, walking down the hall toward the laundry room she could hear the gaurds laughing and talking about the battle and how it happened.
She lightly knocked on the laundry room door, " come in!" A soft response came from the other side.
Nova entered the small room, a small lady with curly brown hair and hazel eyes, she was folding some laundry when Nova entered, "hi, shina you need any help with that?" Nova asked.
"No, I'm fine thank you for asking" shina responded as she continued to fold the clothes.
Nova left towards her room, to sleep.
