The elevator doors slid open, and I stepped into the office, my heels clicking softly against the marble floor.
The familiar scent of freshly brewed coffee mixed with expensive cologne and printer ink greeted me, yet I felt strangely out of place today.
My mind was still reeling from my meeting with Garry.
I still couldn't believe it.
Steven—the quiet, unassuming Steven from the IT department—was Garry's son.
