Chapter 19 - Danny Rand.

[Evening 5:30pm]

"DAMN… PETER… THAT WAS SCARY…" Gwen yelled, hitting me on the back, which stung since she didn't hold back.

"Ugh… Gwen, you do know that hurt? You're not human; you can break walls. Be glad I'm not an average human, or you would have killed me," I teased, already aware that it was getting late and time to head to the dojo to meet my strict but sexy sensei.

After dropping Gwen off at her house, I made my way to the Chikara Dojo by train. As much as I wanted to swing there, I couldn't—not before I got my Spidey suit and a good name. I'd already designed it, and tonight, I was going to finish the design.

[Chikara Dojo - 8:30PM]

"Uh, Sensei, why are you only teaching me defensive moves?" I asked, wiping the sweat from my face after practising all the defensive techniques Colleen Wing had taught me.

"I want to learn some killer moves; I don't like being defensive," I added, a hint of annoyance creeping into my voice.

Colleen looked at me with a serious expression. "Because you're still a beginner, no matter what. You have to wait until you master what I've taught you," she replied.

I could sense she was doing this on purpose, perhaps as revenge for defeating her last time with brute force. She should be grateful I was only using a fraction of my strength; if I unleashed my superhuman abilities, it would be a different story.

I sat in a corner, watching Sensei Wing teach and correct the body postures of the other students.

'Damn, I can't get enough of looking at her sweaty body, her training outfit clinging to her breasts and asscheeks, highlighting the curves of her well-trained physique'I thought, my eyes glued to her.

I knew she was holding back her killer instinct, honed from her time as an assassin, but I couldn't remember much from the TV show I had seen, my memory becoming increasingly blurry.

'Soon, Sensei… let's see how you feel when you realise you're training kids to become killers," I thought darkly, plotting to take advantage of her vulnerability and bring her to my side and my twisted desire to conquer this cold and perfect killer for myself.

"Goodbye, Sensei," the students said as they left, and Colleen began arranging the equipment for the next class. Just then, the sliding door opened, drawing both our attention.

A young man with dishevelled hair, barefoot and dressed in worn-out clothes, stepped inside. His expression was calm, almost serene, but his piercing gaze held an intensity that was hard to ignore.

"Are you lost?" Colleen asked, lowering her wooden sword slightly but remaining on guard.

I glanced at her, confused. "You know him?"

She sighed. "Central Park. I met him when I was handing out flyers for my dojo and gave him some money. Didn't think he'd actually show up here."

The guy stepped further into the room, his gaze unwavering. "I'm not here to waste your time. I need a job, and I can train students."

I stifled a laugh. "A job? Here? Dressed like that?" I gestured toward his ragged clothes and bare feet. "You sure you're not lost?"

Colleen shot me a warning look before addressing him. "You're that guy from Central Park, right?"

He nodded, stepping further inside as he introduced himself.

"Danny Rand.."

As soon as I heard his name, something clicked in my brain. 'Oh damn… the plot is finally starting,"'I cursed as my memories of past life became blurry slowly

"Wait?? You mean the Danny Rand who died years ago in a plane crash with his family in the Himalayas?" I stepped forward, intrigued.

He looked at me with a pained expression. "Yes, I'm…"

"Woah dude… are you sure? Rand Enterprises is a huge company, and you're here looking like a beggar without even slippers," I shook my head, pretending not to believe him.

Danny turned his face away from me and looked at Colleen. "I've trained for years," he replied earnestly, his hands loose at his sides.

"I know how to fight, how to teach. I can help train kids here."

"Trained where?" I asked, crossing my arms. "Because you don't exactly scream martial arts master."

Danny hesitated for a moment before answering. "K'un-Lun."

"K'un-Lun?" I muttered, recalling the name from the comics—a mystical place in another dimension, associated with dragons and martial arts.

Colleen's expression froze, scepticism palpable. "K'un-Lun?"

"It's… complicated," Danny admitted, his voice softening slightly. "But I'm serious. I can prove myself."

"No wait… do you know where K'un-Lun is and what it is?" I asked, curious about their shared knowledge.

Colleen glanced at me before turning back to Danny, who didn't seem thrown off by my question.

"It's a city, hidden from the rest of the world," Danny explained, his voice calm but with a hint of reverence.

"It only appears once every 15 years, and those chosen are trained in martial arts. I was one of those chosen to become the Iron Fist."

I feigned surprise, acting like this was all new information to me. But inside, I knew exactly what he was talking about. The city of K'un-Lun, the mystical martial arts training, the legacy of the Iron Fist. I had my own reasons for pretending not to know, but I wasn't about to show my cards just yet.

Danny continued, speaking about the Hand, the criminal organization that plagued the world, and how he needed to stop them.

I couldn't help but smirk a little at how he laid it all out, like some action movie hero. The story was a bit much for someone unfamiliar with the world of magic and other dimensions. But Colleen seemed to believe him, and maybe that was enough.

Colleen wasn't as convinced. She crossed her arms again, her gaze hardening.

"This isn't a place for fantasy. This is a dojo. We teach people to defend themselves. If you want to be part of this, you'll have to prove it."

Danny didn't flinch, his eyes steady and unwavering. "I'm not asking for anything. Just a chance to show what I can do. If I'm not good enough, I'll leave. No questions asked."

Colleen stood there for a long moment, eyes narrowing as she weighed her options. Finally, she sighed, uncrossing her arms.

"Alright. You can come tomorrow. But you better not bring any trouble to my dojo."

Danny gave a slight bow of gratitude.

"Thank you. I'll prove myself."As he turned to leave, I called out to him,

"Wait, Bro! I'm not sure if you're really Danny Rand or not, but I have a gut feeling that..." I trailed off, pulling out a pen and a piece of paper to write down my number and name.

"Here, you might need it. You seem to know no one in this city," I said with a friendly smile, handing him the paper.

"Peter Parker?" he looked up, surprised, as if rarely anyone believed him. Gratitude filled his expression. "Thank you!" he said, taking the paper and heading out of the dojo.

Colleen turned to me, her voice stern. "Why did you give him your number? You know it'll bring you trouble."

I shrugged, trying to downplay it. "Sensei, it's alright. I have a hunch he's not lying, and I don't mind."

Of course, I didn't mind. I had plans for him, especially if he could teach me about chi, the supernatural energy. Just then, we heard it—gunshots.

They echoed through the street, sharp and fast, followed by the sound of heavy footsteps. Colleen and I immediately looked toward the balcony, and as if on cue, we rushed over, leaning against the railing.

Below, Danny was in the middle of the street, surrounded by several men in black suits. They were armed, their guns drawn, but Danny wasn't backing down. In fact, he moved with an almost supernatural grace, dodging their bullets and taking them down with precise, calculated strikes.

"What the hell…" Colleen exclaimed, her grip on her wooden sword tightening.

"Sensei, we need to help!" I turned around, ready to make my debut saving Danny and earning his gratitude, but Colleen grabbed my shoulder.

"You can't! I won't let my student get into a dangerous situation," she said firmly, her tone leaving no room for argument.

I hesitated, torn between wanting to help and respecting her wishes. But as I watched Danny fight, I couldn't shake the feeling that this was just the beginning of something much bigger...
