Chapter 2 - Chapter -2 First Fight!

Chapter -2.

[Dark Lord System]

[Host: Lester Bailey]

[Magic Power: 10 (Adult: 100)]

[Spells Mastered: None]

[Tasks: None]

[Lottery: 1 time (1000 Fear Points/time)]

Suddenly, a cool blue light curtain popped up in front of Lester, displaying some shiny characters that revealed his identity.

"Whoa, a system!" Lester exclaimed, his eyes wide with excitement.

He had thought he was just going to take over the body of a poor soul stuck in prison until his sentence was up, and then head off to Hogwarts to learn magic.

But surprise! He had just arrived and already had a system.

Lester was no stranger to systems.

As a young guy from the 21st century, he had read plenty of online novels and knew all about the special powers that protagonists usually had. So, he quickly got the hang of how this system worked.

It was just like the ones in those stories—earn system points and use them to get cool abilities through a lottery.

After a quick glance around at the Aurors and other prisoners, and realizing they couldn't see the light curtain, Lester felt a wave of relief wash over him.

With one lottery chance on his system panel, he took a deep breath and said, "Alright, System, let's do this! I want to draw!"

He figured that usually, the system would give a starter gift pack, and this lottery chance was probably his newbie gift.

[Ding! Congratulations to the host for obtaining the spell "God-level Disillusionment!"]

[God-level Disillusionment: After use, it allows the host to enter a completely invisible state, consuming 1 magic point each time.]

"Completely invisible?!" Lester's eyes sparkled with excitement. This skill was something else! Unlike the usual invisibility spells, his God-level Invisibility would make him totally undetectable.

That meant he could move around without making a sound, leaving no footprints, and even running wouldn't be a problem; his body heat, scent, and even his breathing would be completely hidden.

In other words, if he stood still while invisible, light would just pass right through him.

This was the ultimate invisibility!

As he looked at the God-level Disillusionment on his panel and then around at the grim surroundings, an adventurous thought crossed his mind.

Maybe he could try to escape from prison?

Of course, that was just a thought. Lester, being an adult, knew better than to act recklessly; he needed to understand the situation in Azkaban before making any escape plans.

.....

"Lester Bailey, this is your cell. Just behave yourself once you go in."

The Auror led Lester to a cell meant for eight people, gave him a warning, and gestured for him to step inside.

Through the iron bars, he could see seven figures inside, all staring at him with intense eyes.

One bald old prisoner even had a creepy grin, leering at Lester's handsome face, clearly imagining all sorts of things.

Logically, whether it was this life's Lester or the previous college Lester, it was his first time in a prison, especially one as terrifying as this.

If things were as they should be, he'd be trembling in fear.

But instead, looking at the seven cellmates, Lester felt a rush of excitement.

When the Auror opened the iron door, Lester walked in confidently, sizing up his new cellmates.

It was obvious these guys weren't exactly saints; after all, who ends up in Azkaban if they're a good person?

But they didn't seem like the worst of the worst either. If they were truly dangerous, they'd be locked away in the deepest, darkest part of Azkaban, far from anyone else.

The cell was surprisingly spacious, thanks to a decent undetectable expansion charm, so it didn't feel too cramped.

On the left side, there were four sets of bunk beds neatly arranged, complete with white pillows and bedcovers.

On the right side, however, was a bathroom that smelled absolutely awful, clearly neglected for years, making the air around it pretty unbearable.

Looking up at the seven inmates glaring at him, Lester knew his time in prison was going to be anything but dull.

As soon as the "little ghost" Auror left, a big guy stepped forward.

This man was a towering figure, easily eight feet tall, casting a shadow that completely enveloped Lester.

"I'm the head of this cell," the burly man said, looking down at the smaller Lester with a calm demeanor. "Now that you're in Azkaban, you need to follow the rules."

"You're new here, so to toughen you up, you won't be sleeping in a bed. I think the toilet area is a perfect spot for you; that's where you'll sleep from now on."

The burly man said this with a mocking glint in his eyes.

He didn't know what crime had landed Lester in Azkaban at just ten years old, but even if Lester had some magical talent, it didn't matter here. This was Azkaban, where strength ruled.

And in this prison, a strong man like him was the top dog.

Lester looked at the burly man and then at the other inmates, who were just watching with interest.

He sighed, feeling a bit helpless; he wanted to keep a low profile, but it seemed his strength wouldn't let him!

"God-level Disillusionment Charm," Lester muttered, activating the spell he had just won in the lottery.

Facing this giant of a man, he knew he wouldn't stand a chance in a direct fight.

But backing down and sleeping in the toilet? No way!

Because once you take a step back in prison, others would definitely take advantage of it.

Looking at the lecherous bald man, Lester could easily guess what would happen if he backed down.

So, in response to the burly man's taunts, Lester decided to take a stand and fight back!

In an instant, his small figure vanished from the cell, disappearing from everyone's sight.

"Where did that kid go?" The burly man stared at the empty space, his eyes wide with surprise.

Disillusionment!

He hadn't expected this boy, who looked no older than ten, to cast spells without a wand and successfully pull off Disillusionment.

At that moment, the now-invisible Lester didn't immediately attack the burly man.

His body was still too frail; even if he hit the burly man hard, it wouldn't do much damage.

So, he decided to look for a suitable tool instead.
