Chapter 83 - Chapter 82 {Bothersome}

The delivery man shook his head and shrugged.

"I don't know, ma'am," he said.

"All I was told was to deliver this to you."

He turned to leave, but then paused and looked back at her.

"Oh, I almost forgot," he said.

"There's a note attached to the bear."

Isabella looked down at the bear in her hands and noticed the small piece of paper attached to its ear.

With a curious expression, she carefully detached it from the bear and unfolded it.

As she read the note, her eyes widened in surprise.

The note was short and sweet, simply saying: "To my dearest Isabella. A little something for you to keep."

There was no name signed at the bottom of the note - just a small heart doodle.

Isabella's mind raced as she read the note over again. Who could have sent this? And why were they being so secretive about it?

Alright either this is a creep or just….

Isabella looked up from the note and glanced around her surroundings, feeling a sense of unease wash over her. Was it just a coincidence that someone was sending her gifts without a name or signature? Or was it something more sinister?

She looked down at the pink teddy bear in her hands, feeling both touched and unnerved at the same time.

As she held the bear, Isabella couldn't shake off the feeling that someone was watching her. She looked around again, scanning the area for any signs of movement or anything out of place.

But everything seemed normal. The street was quiet and empty, save for a few passing cars and pedestrians minding their own business.

Isabella took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down. Maybe she was just being paranoid…

The next day Isabella started to go on a run she felt like she needed to get outside she yawned as she ran outside.

As she stepped outside, the fresh air filled her lungs and invigorated her.

The sun was just starting to rise, casting a warm glow over the neighborhood. Isabella started jogging down the street, enjoying the peaceful morning scenery.

As she ran, she couldn't help but think about the gifts that had been sent to her. Who could have sent them? And why were they being so secretive about it?

But for now, she tried to push those thoughts aside and focus on her run.

As she ran, Isabella found herself feeling more energized and alive than she had in a long time.

The cool morning air felt good on her skin, and the sound of her footsteps against the pavement was oddly soothing. She picked up her pace slightly, enjoying the sensation of her muscles working as she moved.

As she continued running, Isabella couldn't help but feel grateful for this moment of peace and solitude. It was a nice break from the chaos of her life.

After her run Isabella decided to treat herself to breakfast she walked into her favorite restaurant.

As she walked into the restaurant, Isabella was greeted by the warm smell of coffee and freshly cooked food.

She took a seat at her favorite table near the window and looked around. The place was busy as usual, with people chatting animatedly over their breakfast.

A waitress approached her table and handed her a menu.

"Good morning," she said with a smile.

"What can I get you today?"

Isabella scanned the menu for a moment before making her selection.

"I'll have the biscuit and gravy with a side of bacon, please," she said, handing the menu back to the waitress.

The waitress nodded and jotted down her order before walking away.

Isabella leaned back in her chair and looked out the window at the bustling street outside. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly, feeling contentment wash over her.

After a few minutes, the waitress returned with her food. The biscuits and gravy looked delicious, and the bacon was crispy and perfectly cooked.

Isabella thanked the waitress and began to dig in, savoring every bite.

As she ate, she couldn't help but feel grateful for this moment of peace. Sitting here in this cozy little restaurant, surrounded by the sounds of chatter and clinking dishes...it was exactly what she needed right now.

"Miss. Isabella."

Isabella looked up from her plate, startled by the sound of her name.

She turned to see an elderly woman standing next to her table. The woman was dressed in a neat suit and had a kind smile on her face.

"Yes?" Isabella asked curiously.

"Here you are invited to the vip room."

Isabella sneered.

"No thanks."

The elderly woman looked taken aback by Isabella's response.

"I'm sorry, miss," she said, her smile faltering slightly.

"I was told to extend this invitation to you personally."

She held out a small golden envelope towards Isabella.

Isabella looked at the envelope, then back up at the elderly woman.

"Who sent this?" she asked suspiciously.

The woman hesitated for a moment before replying.

"I'm not at liberty to say," she said apologetically.

"All I know is that it's an invitation to a private event being held tonight."

"Well I don't want to go bothersome and tell the person to go to hell," Isabella snapped and wrote a check and stormed off.

The woman sighed as she still put the invitation in Isabella hand who clenched her jaw. She became so annoyed.

The woman watched as Isabella stormed out of the restaurant, a look of disappointment on her face.

She shook her head and muttered to herself.

"That girl is so stubborn," she said under her breath.

"But I suppose that's just part of her charm."

The woman walked back to the vip room and she sat down.

"Third brother Chozen, she doesn't seem interested in you," the woman said she was Chozen fourth aunt Luna.

Chozen's expression darkened as he heard his aunt's words.

"What do you mean?" he asked, trying to keep his voice calm.

"She has to be interested in me."

Luna shook her head and leaned back in her chair.

"I saw the way she looked at you," she said.

"She wasn't even paying attention."

"She refused the invitation of the life time," Luna said she found this amusing out of all her nephews her nephew Chozen is cold hearted unless it's to his son, cold blooded, ruthless, reckless, arrogant, cruel, and someone who will do anything to get what he wants. This is somewhat the first time he has tried to get a woman attention.

Chozen clenched his jaw as he listened to his aunt's words.

He couldn't believe that Isabella had refused the invitation. He thought she would have been thrilled at the idea of attending a private event, especially one hosted by him.

"She has no idea who she's dealing with," he muttered under his breath.

Luna raised an eyebrow at her nephew's words.

"You're not used to women rejecting you, are you?" she asked, a smirk playing at the corners of her lips.

Chozen shot his aunt a glare.

"Of course not," he snapped.

"I'm the most sought-after bachelor in the world."

Luna chuckled at her nephew's response.

"Clearly that's not enough to impress Isabella," she said.

Chozen bristled at his aunt's words, but he knew she was right.

He had tried everything to get Isabella's attention - sending her expensive gifts, buying out entire stores just to impress her.

"It doesn't make sense," he said through gritted teeth.

"I have everything money can buy and yet I can't even get her to look at me."

Luna leaned forward in her chair, a knowing look on her face.

"Maybe that's the problem," she said quietly. "Perhaps you've shown her too much wealth and material possessions."

Chozen looked at his aunt skeptically.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

Luna leaned back in her chair and crossed her arms.

"Think about it," she said. "You've given Isabella everything she could possibly want - money, jewelry, designer clothes…"

She paused for a moment before continuing.

"But what does that say to her? That you only value material things? That's all you think is important?"

Chozen's expression darkened as he considered his aunt's words.

He hadn't thought of it that way before, but she was right. He had been so focused on showering Isabella with gifts and material possessions that he hadn't stopped to think about what message it sent to her.

"I see your point," he said quietly.

"I've been too flashy."

"That's right, Chozen," Aunt Luna said softly. "Sometimes less is more. Maybe try showing Isabella the real you instead of the elaborate facade you've created."

"I will just buy a private island not flashy," Chozen said. Luna smacked her forehead oh boy.

Aunt Luna sighed and rolled her eyes at her nephew's response.

"A private island is still flashy," she said with a sigh. "You're not listening to me, Chozen."

She leaned forward and fixed her nephew with a stern look.

"You need to show Isabella the real you," she repeated.

"Not some version of yourself that you think she'll want to see."

"New cars."

Aunt Luna pinched the bridge of her nose, trying to keep her composure.

"Cars are material possessions," she said through gritted teeth.

"And they're still flashy."

Chozen scowled at his aunt's words but didn't argue any further. He knew she was right - he had been going about this all wrong.

Aunt Luna sighed and looked at her nephew with a mix of annoyance and concern.

"You need to stop trying so hard," she said firmly.

"You're not going to impress anyone by showing off your wealth."

Chozen looked down at his feet, feeling chastised.

"I just wanted her to notice me," he muttered quietly.

Aunt Luna let out a sigh and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"I know you do," she said gently.

"But trust me when I say that throwing money at her isn't going to win her over."

She gave him a stern look.

"You need to show her who you really are – not just the flashy things you can buy."

Uncle Jax walked in was Luna husband.
