Synopsis
Algernon dies in his original world, and he is chosen as one of nine destined to become a Supreme—an omnipotent ruler of worlds. Armed with the mysterious Conqueror System, he is thrust into a multiversal battleground, where the key to power lies in conquering iconic worlds teeming with legendary heroes and fearsome villains. From the Demon clans of draconic deus (DXD) to the superhero-filled streets of Marvel, Algernon must outwit, outfight, and outlast the inhabitants of anime and comic realms. Each conquest grants him power but also attracts deadly rivals—other future Supremes who will stop at nothing to be the first to claim throne. In a saga of ambition, betrayal, and the unrelenting pursuit of power, Algernon must decide: will he conquer these worlds to save them, or will he become the villain of his own story? The fate of countless dimensions rests on his shoulders—and his will to rise above them all. Chapter 1 - Awakening to destiny

Algernon Azeroth's eyes flickered open, and an excruciating pain exploded in his skull, jolting him upright. His hands instinctively shot to his temples, pressing hard to soothe the pain that gripped him like a vice.

A sharp, burning headache unlike anything he had ever felt coursed through his head, making it difficult to focus, to think clearly. The softness of the bed beneath him offered no comfort, and the eerie silence of the unfamiliar, empty room surrounding him only deepened his confusion.

"Where... am I?" His voice was hoarse, a strange, tight feeling settling in his chest. His breath caught as he tried to recall anything—who he was, where he was, and why he was even here. But as the fog in his mind began to lift, the memories rushed in, overwhelming him like a flood.

He remembered… dying. He remembered the final moments of his previous life, a life snuffed out by an unexpected twist of fate. Reincarnated into this body, with the same name. An orphan, abandoned to a harsh fate after his parents perished in the flames of war.

Born into the prestigious Gremory Branch House in the world of High School DxD—the very anime he had once watched in his previous life. A devil, once, but no more.

But now, instead of the sorrow of loss, his chest swelled with an entirely different feeling—excitement. The mere thought of gaining power, of mastering magic, and... of the waifus. The very idea sent goosebumps down his spine.

Suddenly, an odd buzzing sound filled the air, an invisible force pulling his attention away from his reverie. And then, as if answering some unspoken question, a voice—cold, detached, yet undeniably powerful—echoed inside his mind.

["Host has awakened. Welcome to the Conqueror System."]

The words sent a violent shiver down his spine, breaking his daydream abruptly. A glowing screen appeared before him, faintly shimmering with a golden light. The voice continued, unbothered by his reaction.

["You have been chosen as one of the Nine Supreme System Hosts. Should you fail to conquer the realms and rise to the top of all worlds, the system will seek another capable host."]

Algernon's heart skipped a beat. What was this? The voice? The system? The weight of those words pressed heavily against his chest.

His hands instinctively dug into the bed beneath him, standing himself as he pushed to his feet. Despite the throbbing pain in his head, he had to understand. He needed to know what was happening to him.

"Hey, system, are you there?"

["Yes, Host."]

"Are you conscious? And what do you mean by 'one of the Nine'? Are there others like you?"

["No, I am not a system with personality. I am one of nine systems born to find hosts and help them rise to supremacy. There are nine thrones for the Supreme, each system bound to its respective throne. I belong to 'THE CONQUEROR' throne."]

"Then what happens if I fail to become... that Supreme thing?"

["If you fail, the system will retract all powers granted from the throne and seek another host. Many before you have failed to accomplish this feat."]

"Tell me your functions."

["System functions are now available for viewing."]

The screen flickered, displaying a status report that left Algernon frozen, unable to tear his eyes away. It was almost as though the weight of his new reality settled upon him all at once.

A new message flashed on the screen as Algernon absorbed the information.

["Inventory and Harem functions are locked."]

Algernon stood there, gazing at the screen in a daze. The weight of the information felt overwhelming, almost suffocating. This wasn't a dream. This was his new reality.

The path before him stretched out like a vast, unknown expanse, lined with both unimaginable power and perilous danger.

["Talents are locked. Conquer the main world to unlock both talents."]

"Conquer… the demon race?" His voice barely rose above a whisper, but it cut through the quiet like a razor's edge. The words barely left his mouth before he realized what they meant.

He wasn't just asked to fight for power—he was destined to fight, to win, to conquer. And if he succeeded, power beyond his imagination awaited.

But this wasn't just about strength. This was about survival, about control, about the future. And it was his future on the line. With every passing second, the gravity of his task pulled him deeper into focus.

The Conqueror System had chosen him, and failure wasn't an option. There was no going back now.

The system spoke again.

["The host is now given Low-Class Peak power in both physical and magical reserves."]

A sudden flash of warmth surged through his body, tingling his senses and filling him with a rush of power. His hands clenched into fists, and his body trembled slightly under the unexpected force. He could feel it—the magic, the power, the dormant potential waiting to be unleashed.

"Super Devil Class...?" Algernon murmured, his eyes narrowing with determination. The idea of rising beyond his low-class state, of attaining unimaginable power, filled him with a thrill that made his heart race. The bloodline-less child was now offered a chance to become something greater, something unstoppable.

His gaze shifted once again to the side quest.

["Side Quest: Conqueror the Heart of Rias Gremory…"]

His pulse quickened as he reread the objective. Rias Gremory—the heiress of the Gremory family, engaged to the infamous Riser Phenex, one of the most powerful young devils.

The very heroine of this world. The challenge of capturing her heart felt almost insurmountable, but it wasn't an impossible task. It was a challenge, and challenges were exactly what he needed. This quest would strengthen him, sharpen him, and give him the tools to face what lay ahead

He looked around, his thoughts racing. The Gremory estate, this place, had once belonged to his parents. Now, as a member of the Gremory Branch House, it was his home. But time was not on his side.

He had only eight years to complete his mission, and eight years felt like an eternity when there was so much left to learn and so many obstacles to overcome.

But Algernon was no ordinary child. His spirit burned with an unrelenting fire, his determination his greatest weapon. He would fight, scheme, and grow stronger with every passing day. He would conquer, or he would perish.
