Chapter 13 - Training

Abby wasn't performing the standard movements, so he corrected her over and over again, demonstrating by her side each time.

Her current physical condition was indeed quite poor.

The original owner had been sick frequently since childhood, disliking exercise and training, which led to a weak constitution and frequent illnesses throughout her life.

As a result, the original owner hardly went out to exercise, falling into a vicious cycle.

Abby crossed over into her body on the day she had a relapse of an old illness, fainted in her bedroom, hit her head against the corner of a cabinet, and her family didn't discover it in time, leading to her death.

Abby deeply felt that this accident was somewhat absurd.

But now, it was her using this fragile body.

She had the heart to train hard and become a master, but reality gave her a harsh blow.

Mai'er always thought that Abby just lacked exercise, so he reduced the amount of training for her accordingly.

Now, Abby had been squatting in horse stance for nearly 20 minutes, sweat had already soaked her clothes, and her complexion began to turn pale.

Not a long time for ordinary people, who would find it difficult to endure, but Abby felt that besides the loss of muscle control, what was more unbearable was that her breathing seemed to become more and more difficult.

Abby couldn't help wanting to give up.

It was too painful.

The discomfort of the body seemed to be transmitted to her brain nerves, and she felt as if her head was about to split open.

This kind of pain seemed different from the pain brought by ordinary training.

Abby no longer had the energy to think, focusing only on the inner struggle between giving up and persisting.

Finally, Mai'er realized something was wrong, hurried over, helped Abby up, and supported her to stand up.

"Abby? Abby! Are you okay?!" Mai'er was extremely anxious.

Abby's complexion was terrible now, and her lips were also an unnatural purple, making it seem like she would faint the next second.

He was too careless and didn't notice Abby's abnormal situation earlier.

Mai'er's face was full of guilt and regret. The usually energetic him now seemed shrouded in a thick gloom.

"I... I'm fine, don't worry." Abby waved her hand, signaling Mai'er not to worry or blame himself, and sat down to rest beside Mai'er with his help.

"Xiao Qi, what's wrong with this body?" Abby calmed the discomfort in her body, frowning and asked Xiao Qi in her mind.

"The information of the identity obtained said that the original owner always suffered from some minor illnesses, which can be cured by conditioning, and there is nothing serious."

Abby was also puzzled.

Could it really be just because of poor physique?

Abby sighed helplessly.

"I'm sorry, Abby. I didn't take into account your physical condition, and arranged such a high-intensity training for you as soon as you came. I'm really sorry! How do you feel now? Why don't I send you to the infirmary?"

Mai'er was almost crying with guilt at this moment.

Seeing his appearance, Abby suddenly laughed out loud.

"What's wrong?" Mai'er was stunned by Abby's reaction.

"Why do you always want to take me to the infirmary?"

Mai'er remembered. On the first day of school, when they first met, he also approached Abby like this.

He scratched his head shyly and smiled.

But he didn't forget the most important thing now: "This is all for a reason. So, are you okay now?"

"Yes. A little rest will be fine." Abby nodded with a shallow smile, her deep eyes showing comforting and reassuring light.

After hearing Abby confirm that she was okay again and again, Mai'er finally felt a little relieved, but he was also seriously thinking about it. It seemed that the training later must be arranged more carefully.

Abby's body was too weak. Exercise was definitely necessary, but the difficulty of exercise must be well noted, and she must be given gradual progress.

The following training was carried out at a much slower pace, and Abby felt much easier.

In the next few days, Abby trained with Mai'er in the morning, went to class during the day, and read books at night, slowly learning and progressing in this fixed routine.

On a normal training day in the morning, Abby ran alone in the sports field.

Because the current training was very basic, recently she and Mai'er usually trained in the sports field next to the dormitory area.

Today, Mai'er had arrangements with his club, so Abby followed the scheduled process and ran to warm up first.

There were still many students exercising in the morning, and Abby ran by herself without paying attention to others passing by.

Until she ran halfway, she realized something was wrong.

Wasn't this person following her all the time?

Abby turned her head to look sideways and behind.

It was a woman with beautiful features and a tall figure.

It was Louise.

"Hi" Seeing Abby looking over, Louise curled up an enticing smile and greeted her naturally.

Abby stopped.

Obviously, Louise came for her.
