Chapter 1 - Chapter 1:The beginning

She wanted a normal life, who doesn't?? Of course everyone wants a normal life and she was not an exception. Well,I guess being normal was just a delusional thought especially for someone like her.

Growing up with a lot of fantasies made her crave for something more than an average human would crave for. She was an exceptional kind and even if she knew it she still wanted to fit in to the world's term of 'normal'. Days turned to weeks, weeks to months and months to years and her desires grew alongside, it was like an out of reach desire or simply put insatiable. Would she ever find the satisfaction she truly desired or is there really satisfaction in this world?

"And in Jesus name we pray " that was her father mad they had just completed their morning routine of praying together as a family before dispersing for their daily activities.

"Amen" the family replied in unison.

Her family lived a very simple life and her parents were very devoted Christians who ocassionally took out time to teach them about God and His will for mankind. She was a Christian herself, the kind you could call a'church goer' since that was her parent's religion anyways she simply followed suit or rather had no choice.

As a growing girl, Shania's greatest assets was her brain, she was a smart child and could easily warm her way into people's heart.

"Hey Shania, that was Tracy her best friend heard you bagged all of last term awards, you must feel on top of the world"

Shania shrugged "it's nothing to be very happy about " Shania never really cared about her academic successes she had always just done well.

"You must be proud of yourself" Tracy continued

"Yeah,I am,it was no small feat" Shania trplied with a grin

" Cause I let you beat me, it'd never happen again.

" Have you ever beaten me before "

" Well, not really, but soon, very soon " Tracy replied with a straight face..

Shania tried hard to restrain herself form laughing at her best friend.

Tracy wasn't as bright as Shania but she wasn't doing poorly either she was what you can call an average student.

" Except by luck or coincidence you can't stand a chance" Shania teased her

" I'd be lucky then, just watch and see"

"I definitely will" .

Their laughter erupted 8n the classroom, they were close friends with similarities, same interests, beliefs, sport type etc..

Tracy saw Shania as a sister from another ,they did virtually everything together and was really fond of each other except of course in getting the same position at the end of the term. They had opposing characteristics too . Tracy was jovial and social but Shania was reserved and spoke few words .

" We have to get going,it's assembly time" Tracy alerted and hand in hand they walked over to the assembly ground.

Shania hated the morning assemblies ,it was a boring activity to her ,she only found solace in her books and couldn't let her grades suffer. Shania had no secret to academic success, she just always knew she would succeed and she just always did.

Shania was fifteen and was one class away from completing her secondary education, like every other teenage girl , she wanted to be loved, cared for and protected. Shania was effortlessly pretty and had a face that reminded one of a blossoming flower. She was in her prime and like every other teenage girl she wanted to'fit in'. She was not the type to give up easily and strongly fought for what she wanted.

"Shania" the proprietor called he had demanded to see her immediately after the devotion.
