Chapter 28 - 28

The day had been like any other. Devyansh's teasing, his affectionate touches, and stolen kisses were a constant part of our lives. No matter how busy he got, he always found a way to make me blush, making my heart race. It was one of the things I loved most about him. As I was thinking about him I look at at the clock it's getting late But Devyansh still hadn't come to bed, I started to feel a little uneasy.

He'd been spending so much time in his office lately, and though he reassured me that everything was fine, I couldn't help but feel the weight of his world creeping into ours.

I decided to go check on him, hoping that maybe we could spend a quiet moment together before the night ended. As I approached his office, I heard his voice from behind the closed door. But something was different. His tone—it was hard, filled with an anger I had never heard before.

I froze, pressing my ear closer to the door, my heart pounding. I could hear snippets of his conversation, his words sharp and threatening.

"Uska kaam khatam kar do. Mera parivar safe rehna chahiye, samjhe?"

The coldness in his voice sent a chill down my spine. I could hardly recognize him. This wasn't the Devyansh I knew—the man who teased me endlessly, who kissed me like I was his entire world. This was someone else, someone who had to be ruthless, dangerous even. I had always known he was powerful, but hearing him like this… it felt like a part of his world I wasn't prepared for.

Fear started creeping in. What was he dealing with? Who was he talking to? And why did it sound so… dangerous?

I wanted to walk away, to give him space, but I couldn't. My feet felt rooted to the spot, my heart racing with worry. That's when it happened—I knocked over a small vase near the door, the sound echoing louder than I had expected.

My breath caught in my throat. I could feel the fear tightening in my chest. Before I could even move, I heard his voice, sharp and filled with fury.

"Kaun hai wahan?!"

I froze. I had never heard him like this before. His voice was terrifying, and for the first time, I felt a small, creeping fear of what his world was really like. My hands trembled, and I thought about running, but my feet wouldn't move.

The door swung open, and there he was, standing in front of me, his eyes blazing with anger. For a moment, I couldn't breathe, my heart pounding wildly in my chest. But then, his expression changed the instant he saw me. The anger melted away, replaced by concern, and he sighed in relief.

"Ananya? Aap yahan kya kar rahi ho?" His voice was softer now, but I could still hear the tension underneath.

I couldn't find my words. The look in his eyes, the intensity of his anger—it had shaken me more than I realized. "Main… main aapko bulane ai thi… lekin…" My voice trembled, betraying the fear I had tried to hold back.

Devyansh's eyes softened as he pulled me into his arms, holding me close. His warmth was comforting, but the weight of his world still lingered between us.

"Kuch nahi, jaan. Aapko darne ki zarurat nahi hai." He murmured, brushing my hair away from my face. "Aap yeh sab mat socho. Aapko kisi bhi baat par pareshan hone ki koi jarurat nhi."

Tears stung my eyes as I looked up at him. "Devyansh, Aap theek ho na? Aap itna tension mat lo. Humai aapki fikar hai. Aapko kuch risky nahi karna chahiye."

He looked down at me, his gaze softening. "Hum sab kuch theek kar denga, Ananya. Aapko bas hum par bharosa rakhna hai. Aap safe ho, aur hum aapko kuch hone nahi denga."

I wanted to believe him, but the fear I felt hearing his voice on that phone call lingered. I rested my head against his chest, trying to calm my own worry.

"Kya aap mere saath thodi der so nahi sakte? Aapko rest ki zarurat hai. Hum yahi hai, aapke saath. Hum nhi chahte ki apko kuch ho." I whispered, hoping to ease both his and my own anxiety.

He nodded, his arms wrapping protectively around me. In that moment, I realized how much his world scared me—but I also knew that no matter what, I couldn't walk away from him. We were in this together, for better or worse.

As I stood there, my heart racing with worry, I could hardly get the words out. The sight of Devyansh's fierce expression, the coldness in his voice—it was all too much. I wanted to tell him to be safe, to promise me that nothing would happen to him, but my voice was trembling.

"Devyansh, please, aapko dhyaan rakhna chahiye. Kuch galat mat karna—"

Before I could finish, he closed the gap between us, his lips crashing onto mine with a fervent intensity that took my breath away. The kiss was sudden and urgent, filled with an emotion I couldn't quite name. His hands gripped my face gently, but with a force that was unmistakably possessive.

The world seemed to blur around us as he guided me toward the table in his office. He gently but firmly sat me down on it, his lips never leaving mine. I could feel his heartbeat against my chest, fast and erratic, matching my own.

I gasped against his lips as he kissed me with a fervor that was both comforting and overwhelming. His hands roamed over my body, pulling me closer, deepening the kiss. The passion in his touch told me more than words ever could. Despite the chaos around him, he was trying to reassure me in the only way he knew how.

"Aapke bina, main kuch nahi hoon," he murmured between kisses, his breath hot against my skin. "Aap mere liye sab kuch ho. Main sab kuch theek kar dunga, aapko chinta karne ki zarurat nahi."

I felt the warmth of his words and the intensity of his touch seep into me, calming the storm of worry inside. He gently pulled away from the kiss, his eyes locking onto mine with a look of fierce determination and affection.

"Aapko chinta karne ki jarurat nahi hai, main sab kuch theek karunga. Aapko safe rakhna meri pehli priority hai." His voice was steady, but I could hear the promise in his words.

I nodded, feeling a mix of relief and lingering concern. His touch, his kisses—they had a way of making everything seem a little more manageable. Even though I was still worried about him, I knew that with him by my side, we could face whatever came our way.

He continued to hold me close, his hands caressing my back as he pressed his forehead against mine. In that moment, the world outside seemed to disappear, leaving just the two of us, bound together by love and unspoken promises.

His lips moved against my ear and he whisper "I love the way you care about me, but more than that I love your moaning, when you scream my name." He raised an eyebrow as I was blushing, his eyes twinkling with playful energy.

"You're looking much better now," he teased, wrapping his arms around my waist. "But I think we need to lighten the mood a bit. Instead of stressing out, how about we do something... Fun?" His voice was filled with a teasing warmth, and before I could react, he scooped me up in his arms again.

"Devyansh!" I squealed softly. laughing as he carried me back into the room. He just smiled down at me, a mixture of affection and playfulness in his eyes.

"We've spent enough time worrying, jaan. Ab kuch productive karte hain," he said with a grin, laying me gently on the bed. His words were lighthearted, but the way he looked at me-the tenderness in his gaze- made my heart flutter.

He quickly joined me on the bed, pulling me close into his arms. His warmth surrounded me, his presence calming yet exciting at the same time. As he cuddled me, his hand slipped inside my nightwear, resting on my waist as his fingers traced lazy circles on my skin. The intimate touch was comforting, grounding me in the moment.

I looked up at him, wanting to protest or say something witty, but before I could, he leaned in and pressed his lips to mine in a soft, lingering kiss. The kiss was slow and gentle, his lips moving against mine with a tenderness that made my breath catch.

He pulled back just enough to whisper against my lips, "See? This is much better than stressing out." His hand slid up my waist, his thumb brushing just under my breast as he continued kissing me, his lips finding the curve of my jaw, trailing down to my neck.

I let out a soft sigh, melting into his embrace as he held me closer.

"Devyansh, aap hamesha aise kyun karte ho?" I teased softly, though my voice was light and filled with affection. His touch, his kisses-they made everything else disappear, leaving just the two of us, wrapped up in each other.

He chuckled softly, pulling back slightly to look into my eyes. "Because I love seeing you like this... relaxed, smiling, in my arms. Aur waise bhi, aapki baho mai rahena Humai pasand hai, humara bas chale to hum kabhi aapse dur na ho." he said with a wink, his hand still inside my nightwear, tracing light, teasing patterns on my skin.

I couldn't help but smile at his words, feeling the tension from earlier completely dissolve. His playful, affectionate nature always had a way of making everything feel lighter, as if nothing else mattered but us in that moment.

His lips found mine again, the kiss deepening this time, his tongue teasingly brushing against mine as his hand moved slightly higher under my nightwear. His touch was gentle, slow, as if he was in no rush/simply enjoying the moment with me.

As the kiss grew more passionate, I felt the familiar warmth building inside me, but there was no urgency, no rush-just the two of us, lost in the quiet, intimate space we had created together. Devyansh's hand rested on my waist, his thumb gently brushing over my skin as he continued to kiss me, his lips soft and inviting.
