As Axel lands on the roof of the next car, the pursuers inside immediately start firing upward through the ceiling. With a swift dodge, Axel evades the bullets and swings down from the roof, crashing feet-first through the passenger-side window. The impact sends the car's back door flying off, and the men in the rear seats are thrown out, tumbling onto the pavement or colliding with pursuing vehicles, their lives ending instantly.
Now sitting in the back seat, Axel faces two men in the front. They're trembling with fear, but the passenger reacts quickly, pointing a gun at Axel. With a sharp movement, Axel grabs the man's hand and redirects the gun's aim back toward his own head. The man freezes, staring down the barrel of his weapon, visibly shaking.
Axel's earpiece crackles with Vix's voice.
"What's going on out there? What are you doing?" Vix demands.
"Right now? Just a little puppeteering," Axel replies.
He forces the man's finger to pull the trigger. The gun fires, and the bullet punches through the man's skull. His body slumps lifelessly in the seat. The driver, panicking, reaches for his gun, but Axel is faster. He points his own weapon at the man.
Behind them, the pursuing cars close in. One of them speeds up, trying to catch Axel's hijacked vehicle. Calmly, Axel opens the passenger door, places something in the dead man's pocket, and pushes the corpse out. The body crashes into the windshield of the nearest pursuing car. A second later, the contents of the pocket explode, obliterating the pursuing vehicle in a fiery blast.
In the front passenger seat, Axel now points his gun at the terrified man on the driver seat. The driver is sweating profusely but keeps his hands on the wheel, too afraid to stop.
"Drive faster," Axel orders, his tone sharp. "Your friends are still on our tail."
The driver obeys, flooring the gas pedal, though one last car remains in pursuit. Desperation overtakes him as he notices the guardrail. With terror coursing through his veins, he decides to crash into it, hoping to take Axel down with him.
Gripping the steering wheel tightly, the driver veers toward the rail, but before he can finish the maneuver, Axel pulls the trigger. The driver's head jerks forward as the bullet ends his life instantly.
"This ain't bumper cars, dumbass. Why'd you even try that?" Axel quips, shoving the body out of the car and sliding into the driver's seat.
He notices the last pursuing car still on his tail and formulates a plan. Pressing the accelerator, Axel drives as fast as possible. The pursuing car matches his speed, closing the gap. When Axel decides the time is right, he slams the brakes, spinning the steering wheel hard. The car screeches as it drifts to face the oncoming vehicle.
Now driving backward at high speed, Axel faces the pursuing car head-on. The men inside open fire, bullets peppering the windshield. Remaining unshaken, Axel pulls two small, ball-shaped gadgets from his pocket and tosses them out the window. The gadgets bounce one landing on either side of the pursuing car.
Before the men inside can react, both gadgets detonate in simultaneous explosions, engulfing their car in a massive fireball. The wreck flips through the air before crashing to the ground in a smoldering heap.
Axel spins his car back around and drives toward Vix. Moments later, he pulls up beside him.
"Are we safe now?" Vix asks, still catching his breath.
Axel glances at the road ahead and smirks. "Almost. There's one left."
"One? Where?" Vix questions, alarmed.
Axel points down the road. From a distance, headlights glare like twin suns, growing larger by the second. A massive truck barrels toward them, its enormous frame consuming nearly the entire roadway. Civilians and smaller vehicles are crushed and sent flying by its relentless charge, leaving no space for escape.
"What the fuck! What do we do now?!" Vix shouts in panic.
Axel's voice remains calm, his confidence unwavering. "We drive forward."
"WHAT?!" Vix screams.
