Title: Unyielding Prosperity
Effect: Gain 30% daily turnover from any specified item, capped at 250,000 value. Amass wealth quickly and efficiently, but beware of the allure of excess!
Grade: B (A cornerstone of success, but beware the pitfalls of ambition!)
Talent grade finally got upgraded but at what cost??? 100k magic cores!!
Putting up my land as a collateral seems to be my next step again..
Doing just that, I got myself another 650k gold coins.. I hate to admit it but this time, the interest rates are quite low, just 3% a day.
Especially when I got my talent upgraded just now.
Compared to the old title..
Title: Insatiable profit
Effect: Gain 20% daily turnover from any specified item, capped at 100,000 value. Amass wealth quickly—but watch the limits of your greed!
Grade: C (A stepping stone to fortune... or ruin!)
The new talent upgrade is a whole new world...
60k magic cores, that's the amount of magic cores I got after spending the 650k gold, this isn't fair... Where's my 5k worth of magic cores gone!
I should hire a good negotiator soon, I sat down on my chair.
The new talent has a cap at 250k as well so I won't have to look for an alternative at the moment.
I took a short nap, relieving my mind of all the stress to make money.
Why should I strive to make money when I don't even know if I have a use for it? Am I a slave to the money? Am I working for the money and not me?
Lots of questions left unanswered inside my very small brain.
I decided to check in on how others are faring on the official forum.
The more I browsed the more weird I find.... Everywhere, there's people talking about having thousands of armies yet when I asked about maintenance their response were, "Maintenance? What's that?"
How am I even the only one who needs to pay maintenance? Soon, I got into contact with some support type talent users and understood that, people with combat talents usually don't have a maintenance fee and such, it's only support types who pay.
Not fair, Zurui*.
As I search around more, I come across this huge stone tablets that records our achievements.
'Highest Troop Killed!"
1. (hidden) | 365.8k kills
2. (hidden) | 188k kills.
3. (hidden) | 85k kills.
4. (hidden) | 67k kills.
5. ....
I could see my name glittering if I pressed my hands on the no. 4. Apparently that's me right there.
I'm more worried about the guy with near 400k kills.
He probably got some menacing title to boost his military might.
Next I turned my head to the tablet of wealth. Apparently this is the tablet to show who is the richest person.
"Richest Lord!"
1. (hidden) | 500k gold
2. (hidden) | 450k gold.
3. (hidden) ...
I could make it to the top if it's only this much.
I rested my head for the day, I've never really walked around my village much since day 1. I'll take a tour tomorrow.
My outermost walls still at level 4, I don't have the golds to upgrade it so I'll have to leave it at that.
I took a long nap after making peace to myself.
The next day, my magic cores reached 130k, golds at 3.3k reduced due to troop maintenance (again).
I felt refreshed, I should build more walls as well. Oh don't you dare call me a wall maniac, you never know when titans would ever attack.
Stretching my body, I strolled around the area around my house.
Far and wide, I could see people smiling and farming as they hit the soil with the hoes.
Bruh, they're early at work.....
