As soon as I opens my eyes, I was greeted by a green screen with the following words.
Around is a lush green area and a breezy wind passes by my head.
I stood up and turned my head around trying to assess the situation.
It was only just a minute ago when I was gambling away my wealth at a casino.
Taking a deep breath I turned my head back to the screen , on the side there is a note that said "Your land current worth is 20k gold."
Browsing the system, I reached the loaning system and took a loan with my land as a collateral.
In the next two seconds, I got a message that said.
"Congrats, you have received 10k gold with an interest of 5% a day. Be sure to pay back on time for further loaning credibility!"
I went ahead and reached the arm store, the price of the troops made me wince in wonder if I even need them.
A single troop cost 10 gold to hire, comes with a full set of weaponry ( they don't have guns.) which is a bummer.
And the daily expenses? 10 silver a day per troop!
Instead I hired some workers to build fortified walls around an area, big enough to fit a village.
The expenses totaled a whopping 500 gold but I felt it was worth it.
Next I proceed to build some tents since the newly hired workers needed it and some food expenditure that cost me another 300 gold for the night.
Food expenses are too high, I'll need to start finding my own source of food soon.
The next day I woke up with 11040 gold, this title sure is awesome. I don't felt like gambling anymore.
Since I have a surplus of gold even if I pay back my loan, this time, let's hire some troops and clear the area around the place of the monster.
I read on the official forum that, if the security is maintained, people will naturally appear and develop my land.
Ofcourse the official forum is just a world chat or sorts, I realized yesterday that I wasn't the only one who happened to be crossed over here.
Everyone was bragging about their grade D, C, B and A and such grade talents. There were even rumors that S and SR exist but well, they didn't appear last night.
Spending a whole 1k gold, I send the hundred new troops out. Hopefully they don't dissapoint me.
Feeling lazy and nothing better to do, I opened the world chat and read their banter and complains as I smile to myself.
Night soon arrived and the hundred troops walked back. Oh and yes, I fortified the wall again today for another 500 gold, basically an upgrade since last night.
The gates opened and the troops walked in rather majestically as they pull huge carcass of monsters.
Ah no food expenses for tonight!
