Kain woke up aching from head to toe after spending hours mining the previous night. His arms felt heavy, his shoulders sore from swinging the pickaxe for so long, but he had no regrets. Pushing himself up from his bed, he let out a deep sigh before getting dressed. Skipping dinner last night had left his stomach empty, and right now, food was a priority.
