_________________________________________________________________________

In the universe, there are millions of mysteries that not even humans have been able to fully unravel. One of these great mysteries involves a planet located light years away called Yohigon.

In mid-1924, Yohigon was a prosperous planet with absolute power, where in every corner there were kingdoms with their own characteristics and highlights.

One of the most notable kingdoms was Bason, known for its strength, evolution and balance. It stood out from the other kingdoms, each with its own specific focus.

Some kingdoms prioritized only politics and democratization, others focused on trade, the distribution of manpower or the combination of religion and military power.

However, one fateful day in 1940, the kingdoms of Yohigon faced a surprise attack from a completely different species, the Yokanos. The sudden attack triggered a devastating war, leading to the collapse of all the kingdoms.

From the rubble of Bason and the few survivors emerged the inevitable decision: to ensure the safety and continuity of their species.

They decided to use a portal hidden underground in the kingdom of Bason to escape to other planets. There, they intended to reproduce with other species to form a new population, bring everyone back to the portal they came from and rebuild a new city on the rubble of Bason.

It was then that in 1990, with the help of three pillars of their species called (Mahõ Dragons), they formed a new city of advanced technology under the ashes of the kingdom.

[Location: Nai Family House / Bason City (Yohigon) November 5, 2024]

"Ha! Ha! Ha!" A girl with long white hair, dressed in a martial arts outfit, who is doing her daily training, shouts intensely.

In a familiar dojo, this girl was hitting a punching bag with her own fists, always delivering strong, slow blows so that they would increase over time.

"Kawh!" shouts the girl once again, as she delivers a strong side blow to the punching bag.

After the blow, the fabric of the bag tears, falling heavily to the floor of the dojo.

Her name was Meika Nai, an ordinary Dragon Soul who was a martial arts fighter worthy of her species' black belt.

Apart from the fact that her lineage was different from that of the other races, she had more stamina than the other dragons, so she could stay on her feet for many hours fighting an opponent.

"Vuph!" A dragon begins to emerge from Meika's back from a portal created around her skin, and with its claws, shakes her hand respectfully.

"Thanks a lot, cutie. I'm glad you saw my effort in training." Meika thanked the dragon beside her for letting her know that her training had been effective for another day.

She smiles widely, knowing that she is getting much better at her training. Each time her dragon appears behind her back, she is more relieved to know that at each stage, she has made a positive point in her strokes.

"Uhff..." Meika sighs with a towel around her neck. "I'm hungry enough to destroy an entire restaurant." In a wry tone related to her insatiable hunger, she walks to the fridge in search of a snack.

She opens the fridge in search of appetizing food, but a small sound pops into her mind.

Her body moves away from the fridge and she puts both hands on her head, trying to relieve the growing sound.

"What the hell is that sound?" Meika exclaims over the tuned noise in her mind and leans against the worktop.

She tries to think of other things, but this only makes her headache worse because of the tuned noise. After a few seconds, she stops.

Her body goes limp, and she quickly sits down on the floor and leans her back against the wall of the kitchen worktop.

Her head drops and she stares at the floor, unable to comprehend what happened at that moment.

"That high-pitched sound, so familiar..." Meika asked herself in a weak voice and looked down at her right hand for no apparent reason.

The dojo and the kitchen were in complete silence, and she was managing to calm down after that agonizing sound that had lasted for almost a minute of chaos.

However, the floor began to shake slightly, and Meika's buttocks and back felt the continuous vibration.

Gradually, the shaking increased and some kitchen utensils rattled on the marble countertop.

PAFT! <> A glass dish with two pieces of apple fell to the floor, shattering it completely, scaring Meika quickly.

"What the hell! What's that sudden tremor?!" Meika gets angry and tries to get up without falling to the ground because of the strong tremor she's feeling.

She rests the tip of her right foot on the floor and floats over to the dojo's exit door to go directly to the living room.

Meika appears above the closed living room window and opens the door a little to see the yard through a crack.

Several people were running in the same direction at the end of the street that Meika could see 2 km away.

A siren sounded loud enough to be heard in the distance. It signaled an invasion under the city.

Her expression was unreadable. It showed a mixture of dread, fear and disbelief. Above all, the fear of dying like her ancestors.

"It can't be... No, no..." Meika said, turning her head to the side as she took a few steps back. Her heart was racing uncontrollably. She was struggling to breathe. Her face turned as white as a sheet.

The city sky was crimson red, with screams and cars skidding through the streets. The situation was complicated in the city of Bason and many authorities were trying to find a way to control the confusion on the outskirts.

As Meika sat on the wooden floor of her living room, she watched the sky turn redder than her own blood or even the deepest skin of a demon.

However, seconds later, a yellow glow blinded Meika's vision like the explosion of a light grenade, and everything quickly went out.

In a moment that remained silent and dark, where there was no sign of a different sound frequency... it caused enormous peace in anyone's mind.

Suddenly, however, a faint background sound began to emerge - similar to the tapping of high heels walking on a marble floor.

The sound of footsteps became clearer, echoing quietly between the wide strides of whoever was coming, and with each step... hearing became clearer.

And then, a second later, the sound suddenly ended.

"Anken? Anken... what are you looking at?" the teacher asked quietly to the boy, who continued to stare emotionlessly out of the window.

He calmly turned to the woman in front of him. Her name was Martha and she looked like a normal teacher. She didn't stand out much, but she was quite competent

She yawned quickly, placing her right hand over her mouth as a sign of respect.

He saw that she still wanted an answer and replied.

"There was a small bird with its navy blue and white plumage in the branches of the trees, while you were mentioning how the aerial species were so beautiful... I decided to see if it was as beautiful as you thought." Anken clearly rests his chin on his right hand for support, while looking at the teacher, shocked by the situation.

The students in the class were surprised by this, as they hadn't expected him to pay attention to the teacher's comments, even though his gaze was focused on the window.

After this response, the teacher coughs a little and gets the feeling that he is being listened to carefully.

"Well, actually... he's really handsome." Martha agrees, watching the bird sitting on a tree branch. "But I wish you'd wake up your friend who's in his fifth sleep of the morning, it's depressing," murmured Martha, watching Kisai, who had his head resting on the table.

The students around him laughed as they watched him sleep while his mouth dribbled saliva onto the wooden board of the table.

But what added to the comedy were the paper balls the teacher threw at him and the other students in the class, who tried to keep quiet so as not to attract Kisai's attention.

Anken went to get his best friend's attention, slapping him on the head to wake him up.

"Hey, Kisai, are you sleeping on the table again?" With an angry tone, Kisai woke up quickly and looked at his best friend, who had an ugly expression on his face.

Everyone was still laughing and others were fiddling with their cell phones without worrying about anything around them.

Kisai looked at Anken with confusion and the bell rang quickly to end today's lesson and the teacher's working day.

"Oh, shit..." Kisai is upset at falling asleep once again in class and slams his face into the table to forget his shame.

A few minutes later, Kisai and Anken walk up the stairs from the school exit on their way home... and stop on the sidewalk to cross the crosswalk.

[Location: San Diego High School (California) December 15, 2024]

The two appear sitting on a bench that used to be a bus stop, and Kisai quickly pulls out his cell phone and sends a message to his mother.

"What a difficult situation." Kisai whispers as she exchanges messages with her mother and crosses her legs to relax.

Anken, curious about the situation, decides to look at Kisai's cell phone screen to see what he's talking about, since the situation he describes is so difficult.

However, Kisai quickly takes the phone away from Anken and looks at his best friend with a neutral expression.

"Why don't you ask what happened like a normal person? With an irritated tone, he puts the phone away and stares at the street in silence.

Anken's emotional state diminishes and, little by little, his body shivers with the breeze that touches his skin.

"I'm sorry, brother, but I don't like to ask too many questions. Anken laments as he lowers his head in regret.

Kisai ended up handing his cell phone to his best friend, asking him to see what was on his mind without saying a word.

With the phone in his hand, Anken is shocked by what he sees in the photo... and it's his mother lying in a hospital bed.

Kisai answers why she's in that bed, in a sad and hopeless tone.

"Well, she has cancer, and that's why I slept badly today." Making clear the reason for her lack of sleep, she ends up covering herself in the living room.

He takes the cell phone out of Anken's hands and puts it in his pants pocket.

"Sorry about that, buddy." Anken says with a worried tone as he approaches him.

"I'm going to hope very hard that she comes home and smiles with you again." Anken encourages his best friend and hopes that everything goes well and that she heals from the tumor.

Kisai hugs Anken and they both get up from the bench where they are sitting.

"Well, I'll talk to you later. I have to concentrate on my projects." Kisai squeezes his best friend's hand and smiles to stay positive. "See you tomorrow, my friend, my brother." He takes a step back, looks at Anken and continues on his way.

Anken lets out a small sigh and stands on the sidewalk for a few minutes, watching his friend walk away down the other avenue.

His eyes are turned upwards, watching the sky and the clouds that darken with time, which worries him.

Quickly, his cell phone started beeping in his trouser pocket. It was an alarm indicating that he had to be home by lunchtime.

He turned off the alarm and something poked him in the back, a light feminine touch that made him feel indignant and confused.

It was his best friend, Yamika, who was studying in the same class as them.

"You didn't really expect me to come with you?" Disappointed, she kept pointing her index finger at Anken's chest as a way of intimidating him. "You two should be ashamed of yourselves for leaving me stranded at school."

Kisai Kenji and Yamika Suzuki are Anken Satoshi's longtime best friends. As they grow up, each has unique and similar tastes.

The boy Kisai has always liked electronic sports, while Yamika loves taking photographs and being an actress in her spare time.

Anken is more varied, he admires his friends' tastes... but he really likes martial arts.

He sighs and puts his left hand on Yamika's shoulder to calm her down. His eyes met hers calmly.

"I'm a bit late. I have to do my afternoon homework, otherwise I'll end up like this." He explained in detail and gestured with his finger, sliding it over his neck. "Sorry," whispered a voice in his ear.

A gesture that represented a knife cutting into her skin, and she quickly realized his concern.

Her body recoils a little and her two hands come together to support her chest, so that she can respond calmly.

"It's okay, Kenken, there's no need to apologize." With a sweet, simple tone of voice that relaxes her small worry. "I just don't like feeling forgotten by you." Switching to a low, despondent tone, she felt a loneliness in her heart.

As much as Yamika's concern had diminished, it hadn't crossed Anken's mind that his best friend's mother, whom he considered an aunt from another family... had cancer.

"Did Kisai give you any news today? Anken asks with direct words, looking for a unique answer from Yamika.

Yamika listens carefully and is confused because she remembers something Kisai told her.

After this moment, the sky gradually darkened to a point where it looked like there was going to be a storm over the city of California... but Yamika decided to give her last words in the middle of the dark atmosphere.

As the two stood face to face, a scene not far from the city showed some kind of unknown meteor falling towards California.
