■■■ felt heavy, his body felt heavy as if floating; he slowly opened his eyes and was greeted with darkness. Nothing was there as far as he could see, just endless darkness; luckily, he knew this feeling.
It was the feeling of diving into the deep sea, the endless yet super light feeling. 'Is this mother's womb? Did I regress?'
Did he regress to the point of being trapped in his mother's womb? He doesn't feel any clothes on himself, meaning he is completely naked, and he feels shorter too.
But all that theory was thrown away once he felt movement inside these dark waters close to himself. 'Nope, definitely not my mother's womb.'
He quickswimswim towards the surface. He can't feel his cultivation probably regressed to being a mortal. But someone who reached the pinnacle of the cultivation world, even as a mortal, could be considered formidable in the early stages of the cultivation.
While swimming towards the surface, he has hidden his breath, making sure none of the creatures will find him. He can't feel their Qi, but they must still be counted as a quite tough opponent to the current him, a simple mortal. Luckily he was used to navigating through the endless darkness, ocean, and abyss in his previous life.
'Water with such a rich malice and dark qi, fascinating.' He already can think a of few Qi Manuals he can use this water for after reaching some kind of platform.
When he sensed the surface of the waterways was almost in front of him, he didn't head there directly; he wasn't that desperate for the air; one of the many techniques created by the people who live in an ocean filled realms is this clever technique to allow one stay underwater unnaturally long. Even mortals could master this technique without much difficulty; he was now kinda grateful for himself for spending so much time learning survival-related small tricks like this one.
As for not going the to surface of the water? It's going to alert the sea beasts under the water if does that. So he decided to spend some time underwater searching for a platform where he could stay and cultivate. Only when he reached his limited ts to reveal himself going to the surface of the water.
He kept swimming using echolocation to locate any platform that was high enough to be safe from the sea and its creatures. After a few minutes, he finally found some platform that could hover over the water's surface. It looked like some kind of huge statue without a head.
'That's not creepy at all.'
With that, he climbed on the top of the headless statue. After getting out of the water, he quickly took a lotus position. He felt the Qi in the heaven and earth. The Qi in this realm was a little strange. It had more dark, blood, malice, and flame-type Qis than the basic seven elements.
First, he didn't bother to use any Qi Manuals he knew directly; instead, he simply absorbed the Qi in the air, masterfully manipulating it to break his mortal limit first. Within a few minutes, he achieved the first milestone of cultivation, the first stage of the Body Transformation Realm.
Body Transformation Realm is divided into nine stages: the first five stages are for the cell transformation, the sixth is for the blood transformation, the seventh is for the organ transformation, the eighth is for the muscle and tissue transformation, and the ninth, aka the last one, is the complete body transformation.
His current stage is only the first stage but even that stage pushed his physical performance to the one of peak mortal. Without any Qi assistance of course.
He kept going, absorbing Qi greedily and breaking through one Body Transformation stage after another. Finally, once the morning came and the sun rose from behind the mountains, he decided to end his cultivation session.
The 7th stage of Body Transformation Realm. The organ transformation stage.
Now, all of his organs have transformed and gone beyond their limits. Even if a mortal tried to harm him, they not only need to pass through his hard-as-iron skin and muscle but also damage even harder organs and blood vessels.
■■■ stretched a little. He then saw that with the rise of the blazing red sun, the dark sea had gone hiding, taking away most of its dark-type Qi, slowing down his cultivation. Whatever trace of a dark type still lingering in the air is nothing but a fraction of one in the dark sea.
"How beautiful." Now the black sea of dark waters has changed into a red sea made of some kind of corals. He takes a deep breath. There is still that salty sea smell in the air, bringing a smile to his face. It gives him a nostalgic feeling; he feels like he has returned to one of the many sea realms.
He then jumps from the platform to the statue's shoulder; luckily, with his enhanced physique, jumping to that level was rather easy, but dropping from hundreds of meters is still out of the question. The material that the statue is made of is rather special. It's harder than normal marble, and it has a magical circuit on it. So, digging his fingers while sliding down isn't exactly an option.
Luckily, they made the stature pretty detailed, leaving many stone platforms to jump down into; while jumping, the whistling wind reminded him of one thing. He was naked, and his private area was fully open for others to see, which wasn't exactly the best impression left to people of this realm. So the first thing he does after going down is hunt down a beast and use them to make a suit for himself or something to wear, at least.
Red corals are made of flesh? He was sure it was connected to a giant creature at least; after locating the red coral tree that was only a few meters away from him, he jumped on top of it. He looks down towards the ground. The corals are tangled and connected, creating a strange labyrinth, which brings a frown to ■■■'s face. After all, mind puzzling wasn't exactly what he was best at and not something he enjoyed doing.
Those "corals" were truly particular things as he knocked on them; their purpose seems related to the soul, and the creature behind its spread is probably using it to feed on dead creatures. He also located several small creatures... his bad, the creatures weren't small. They just looked small to him. They were fighting over food, a fish-like creature that's about the size of his current self.
After seeing that even fish might be bigger than him ■■■ couldn't but complain about his young body in his mind. Well, he can complain later, but right now, it's time to hunt for his food and clothes. Jumping down from the pillar he was standing he smashes down one of them with his landing.
A creature that's similar to crab clans from the Ten Thousand Bestial Clans but more demonic; they possess Qi, but it's more rampant and less controlled; perhaps they don't possess enough intelligence to control it. "So, demonic beasts huh? You guys are just everywhere aren't you?"
No matter which realm he has gone there will always demonic beasts will be everywhere, creatures mutated because they absorbed too much qi. His fist swung quickly, crushing one of their head as its strange black blood splattered from its head. It was still alive but now blinded on the one side.
It lets out a creeping shriek trying to catch him with it's pincher, ■■■ jumps back stepping on one of the coral pillars then launches himself towards one holding the big fish. Without proper intelligence, it instinctively dropped the fish and swung its pincher towards it. ■■■ twisted his body, dodging from the pincher. His hand wrapped around its elbow, and then, with slight force, he snapped it into two pieces.
Another ugly shriek echoed through the labyrinth making him smirk. His four fingers dug into its open mouth while holding it from its lower jaw before ripping it apart. A smile appeared on his face, one just like he had when killing the poor sect leader of Azure Sea Pavilion.
"You are going to call your friends here? Oh, you didn't need to~. It's such a heartwarming thing to have such a great welcoming party in my new neighborhood~."
