The streets were once again bustling with life, and the sun decided to pour out its glorious and magnificent rays on all the living creatures on earth. The lizards in the Lewis mansion scampered about, some basking in the sun rays, nodding contentedly. A lizard scuttled around a certain girl's window sill, but the window itself opened abruptly and it nearly fell off the edge, only to be grabbed by a pair of warm hands. "I am SO sorry." A female voice could be heard, as the warm hands gently dropped the shaken lizard on the window sill, while the blonde colored hair fluttered beautifully in the wind. "Are you hurt?" She said as she picked the lizard again, turning it this way and that. "Thank goodness, you aren't" She said as she dropped the petrified lizard again, on the window sill. "My lady" a melodious voice chimed into Diane's ears. "It's time to wake up." The maid outside the door the proceeded to rap at it with her ankles. To her surprise, a voice replied. " Come in, Dorothy."
Dorothy pushed open the door to see a blonde haired girl sitter near the window sill, holding something in her arms. "Good morning, lady." She said with a slight courtesy. "Dorothy! Good morning, did you sleep well?" A voice filled with vitality replied. "I did, what about you, lady?" "Hmm, same." Replied the voice. "Dorothy" Diane said, inching forward to her with a malicious smile on her face. "Yes?" Replied Dorothy, wondering what this silly girl was up to now. But she did not expect the same 'girl' to suddenly open up her hands to reveal a 'terrifying' reptilian figure within. "Kyaaaa!" Dorothy screamed and landed on her rump. Diane on the other hand, opened her eyes wide, bent down, trying to stifle up laughter, before bursting into one that depicted joy. Dorothy could only massage her rump, and glare ferociously at the laughing figure. " I am sorry." She finally said, wiping away her tears with a finger. "Just consider this retribution." She said while helping out Dorothy, making her sit on the bed. "You are up early, that's new." Dorothy said after settling down. "Yeah, I've got to meet that bastard, afterall." Diane said while clenching her fists. "Miss, please don't use such vulgar language." Dorothy stated In a weak voice. "Besides, this is the right time for you to leave. Your father and brother have gone to the house of adriel to perform, some, um... negotiations." Dorothy added with a wry smile. "That idiotic brother of mine better not mess things up." Diane said while tidying up her hair. " Well Dorothy, I'm off." She said, turning to the door. "Wait lady, aren't you going to inform your brothers before you leave?" Dorothy spoke, standing up with an agitated look on her face. "Brothers?" Diane inquired. "You see, the second young master didn't leave with the master and his brother." She said while twiddling her fingers. "That's a good thing then. Sylvester is still a child, at least he can play with Alice and Morris for once." She said while opening the door. "What should I tell them?" Dorothy hastily inquired. "Tell them I am off to see a friend!" Came Diane's voice from the hallways.
On her way to the carraige, she discovered that she was still holding something warm and scaly in her palms. "Well, I guess we are friends now." She told the little lizard in her arms. She fed it something to eat and it became less weary of her. "Ha. If only some people could be less wary of others like you, maybe it might have been paradise on earth." She said sarcastically. "My lady, we have arrived." The coachman told her. "Okay. I am heading off now." She said as she climbed off the coach, her reptilian friend in her arms.
Meanwhile, in the residence of Raymond, Hugo had to burst into his master's office once again. "Hugo, it better be something important. You know how busy I am." The blue haired man said without even lifting his head. "Sorry for my intrusion, but you have a visitor." Hugo stated. "Send them away." Diego said without batting an eyelid. "It Is Diane Lewis. " Hugo gritted his teeth and replied. The young man's lips slowly formed into a smirk.
