Chapter 5 - blind date❤️

After a while, Shree's aunt comes to call her. Shree goes downstairs with her and sees that Juhi has changed into a different dress. This wasn't the dress Juhi was wearing earlier.

Shree doesn't pay much attention to this and goes to stand before the guests. In front of her sit two men and two women.

Kalavati comes and says to Shree, "Look, here's Shree, dear."

Kalavati introduces them, "Shree, let me introduce you. This is Vivek's mother and father, and this is his aunt and uncle."

When Shree is about to touch their feet, Vivek's mother stops her and says tearfully, "Oh, no, no, dear, there's no need for that. Just come sit beside us; we'd like to talk to you."

She invites Shree to sit next to her.

Shree's uncle then asks them, "Sister, didn't Vivek come with you?"

To this, Vivek's mother replies, "That boy never listens to anyone! He says he won't get to talk properly with Shree with so many people around. And even if we leave them alone, how much can he get to know her in just five minutes? So, he said he'd like to meet Shree alone outside."

"If you don't mind, could Shree meet Vivek at the coffee house this evening?"

Shree's uncle replies, "Of course, we don't mind at all! Obviously, it's their marriage, their life ahead, so it's important they get to know each other."

Seeing that only Vivek's family came and not the groom himself, Juhi decided to switch her expensive dress for something simpler.

However, Juhi's mother was fuming inside. Initially, she wanted this marriage to happen as quickly as possible, but now that Juhi wanted to marry this boy, she was thinking of how to break this match and secure her daughter's engagement instead.

After meeting Shree, Vivek's family leaves. As Shree is clearing the tea and snack plates in the kitchen, her uncle says, "Dear, you should go meet Vivek this evening. And don't be afraid; this is about your whole life."

Shree: "But, Uncle, how will I recognize him?"

Uncle: "Well, you must have his photo, right? Didn't Kumud show you?"

At this, Shree looks at Kumud, and her uncle also turns to her.

Uncle: "You didn't show Shree Vivek's picture?"

In fact, the previous night, Kumud had planned to give Shree Vivek's photo, but after hearing Juhi's words, she changed her mind and didn't give it to Shree.

Aunt: "Oh, my memory is failing me these days! Wait, I'll bring it right now."

She goes to her room, pretending to look for the picture, and comes out after 10 minutes, saying, "Oh, Juhi's father, I can't seem to find it anywhere!"

Uncle, slightly angry: "What's wrong with you? You lost the boy's photo? Now how will Shree recognize him?"

Aunt: "I'll ask his family to send another photo."

Uncle: "But that'll take time, and Shree is supposed to meet him this evening! How will she recognize him in a crowded place?"

Seeing her uncle getting so hyper, Shree says gently, "Uncle, Aunt didn't do it on purpose. Why are you getting upset? And as for recognizing Vivek, there will be people waiting at that coffee house, right? I'll get there on time and ask the first person who seems to be waiting alone if he is Vivek. If he says yes, then I'll talk to him."

Uncle: "Alright, dear."

Back in her room, Aunt finally finds the photo and hides it somewhere. Just then, Juhi bursts in angrily, saying, "What is this, Mom? That girl is going to meet Vivek? You said I would marry Vivek. Now that girl is going to meet him alone. What if he likes her?"

Kumud Aunt: "Oh, my princess, don't worry! I'm here. First of all, she'll go, but she won't meet Vivek."

Juhi: "How?"

Kumud Aunt: "Because Vivek said he'd meet her at 4:00 PM, but I told Shree to be there at 5:00 PM. So, she'll arrive at 5:00, and by then, Vivek will have left. You just need to go there at 4:00 and ensnare him."

Hearing her aunt's plan, Juhi's face breaks into a sly smile.

Meanwhile...

Bhagya had been deciding on a watch design all night. In the morning, his assistant Poorab arrives and begins updating him on the day's schedule.

Poorab: "Sir, you have a video conference at noon, a meeting with the retailer and vendors at 2:00 PM to discuss issues with our new watch model, and shall I bring flowers or arrange a gift for 5:00 PM?"

Bhagya, puzzled: "5:00 PM? Do I have a wedding to attend?"

Poorab: "No, sir, you have a blind date."

Bhagya: "Okay – what? A blind date? What nonsense! Who told you I'm going on a date?"

Poorab, nervously: "Sir, Rahul messaged me to inform you that you have a blind date at the coffee barista at 5:00 PM."

Bhagya, irritated, says, "Get out of here!"

Poorab leaves, and Bhagya pulls out his phone to call Rahul. After two rings, Rahul picks up, and Bhagya, annoyed, starts, "What is this I'm hearing?"

Rahul, relaxed, says, "So, you got the message?"

Bhagya: "Yes, but what's this all about? Who said I'd go on a date? I'm not meeting anyone."

Rahul: "Fine then, I'll leave everything and go somewhere else. You can search all you want, but I won't be found."

Bhagya: "Rahul, don't be childish. You know you're my only family."

Rahul: "I know, buddy, but I'm not going on a honeymoon with you or having kids for you. That's why I want someone else in your life. And if you don't go to this blind date, then consider this my last favor for you because I really had to convince this girl, and she agreed to meet you only after a lot of effort. So, if not for yourself, go for my sake."

With that, Rahul hangs up, and Bhagya stares at the phone, frustrated. Friendship was everything to him, and he couldn't bear anything against Rahul.

In the evening, Juhi had already left somewhere, known only to her mother.

Shree was getting ready in her room, dressed in a blue suit with kajal-lined eyes, a loose braid, and small earrings.

When Shree comes outside, she sees that Juhi has taken the scooter, so she has to take an auto. She reaches the coffee house at precisely 5:00 PM. As she walks in, she glances around and notices a table in a corner with a view of the sea, where a man is seated.

The man has his back to Shree, so she can't see his face. Among all the tables, this was the only one where someone kept looking at their watch as if waiting for someone.

Shree assumes this might be Vivek.

She walks over to the table and stands in front of him.

The man looks up at Shree and, upon seeing her, is quite taken aback. Shree, too, is surprised, for sitting in front of her was Bhagya, who looked equally shocked.
