In the ashes of the burnt out building that has been long since abandoned, a small flame appears momentarily and then a man appears. The man stands up and looks at his surroundings, realizing after a few moments that he knows where he currently is at. It takes him a few moments to adjust to the lighting as it is now night. He stands there allowing his eyes to adjust and says to himself "it feels good to be back home. I have missed this place." However, the house is empty of anyone besides himself, the inhabitants of it long gone. On the outside, it appears as a normal house, but if one were to step inside, it is completely different. After he gets his bearings, he stretches a bit as his muscles are still stiff from not being used for so long. This however has not gone unnoticed by the local government that watches over the building and surrounding area.Â
*Inside a base a few miles away*Â
Inside the military base a few miles away there is a soldier monitoring some screens that display different information about surrounding areas, and he notices a strange reading coming from one of the displays and he taps on the keyboard in front of him to pull up the data onto his main screen and does several checks. Moments later after checking the data, he calls his boss over the radio "This is monitoring station 32, I have a anomaly. I have checked the data several times, but its showing the same." A female officer's voice comes back over the radio "Standby 32, someone is coming to check as well."Â
*Meanwhile back at the house He is at*
The man looks around the old building and sees all the destruction and notices that nothing had been moved or changed since he had left. Almost as if the building had been frozen in time. Not knowing the truth, which was that indeed the building had been frozen in time, just like some of the others around him, except the inhabitants of them had come back over the unknown time that He had been gone. Upon noticing how his dwelling looked, he went outside to look at the other locations around him, hoping to find someone he knew.
