"Do you have a laptop?"
"Give it to me!"
As Liu Zong walked through the corridors, the memories of early today came flooding into his mind.
~~~~~
Li Yue quickly opened the school forum, logged into an anonymous account, and suddenly produced a recording of the earlier fight between those five boys and Li Xiang in the old ground, out of nowhere.
"Whoa! When did you take that video? I'm pretty sure I didn't see you holding onto any cell phone at that time?" Liu Zong curiously asked, his eyeballs literally gawking at the screen.
She, however, remained silent as ever and posted that video. Then, she opened another website and started typing in random codes.
After she was done writing the code, she turned to look at him, who had been sitting by her side on the staircase all this while, and said, "Wanna try something even cooler?"
Liu Zong squinted his eyes and skeptically asked, "What are you getting at?"
She shrugged as she looked away. "Forget it. You don't seem interested," she said, her hands reaching to close the tabs.
"Wait, wait! I never said no." He panicked and swiftly blocked the keyboard. "I'm in!" he admitted, his eyes sparkling excitedly.
Li Yue just snickered and asked him for his contact details.
After they exchanged numbers, his phone buzzed with a notification and a link appeared on their chat.
"Open it only when I text you again," Li Yue instructed before getting up. She handed him his PC and walked away.
~~~~~
As soon as he tapped on the link, a live broadcast room started with an instruction bar on top that said,
[Press the start button when you see a commotion.]
He squinted his eyes, confused as to what kind of commotion was being referred to here, but when he entered the cafeteria, he finally understood what it meant.
A girl was being bullied by three girls, and a huge crowd had gathered around them. Although Liu Zong couldn't see the girl's face, he quickly walked up the stairs onto the second floor of the cafe, angled his phone, and pressed the start button.
~~~~~
"He's here." Puff, who had been flying over the cafeteria's entrance, said as he approached Li Yue.
Mo Ting was furious at her failure in grabbing Li Yue by the hair and angrily stepped forward, trying to hold her again. "How dare you!"
But this time, Li Yue didn't dodge. Her eyes teared up as she started trembling badly, her voice cracking with fear and nervousness.
"Please! Please, Mo Ting! Don't hit me. I will never sit in that place again. Just let me go this time." She said while holding Mo Ting's arm with shivering hands.
Seeing Li Yue being the one getting bullied, Liu Zong's eyes widened, and he stepped forward, intending to help her. However, as soon as he moved, another message popped up on his screen:
[Don't move. Stay put and keep recording.]
He hesitated for a while but eventually gave up on his idea to help and decided to follow the instructions and observe the scene for the time being.
"What crap are you talking about, you bitch?" Mo Ting shouted, her hand tightening on Li Yue's hair.
"Are you trying to beg us to let go of you?" Yang Li spoke, her arms crossed as she stared at Li Yue.
Mo Ting snickered when she heard her friend. "So that's what you are trying to pull off here?" She gritted her teeth and harshly jerked Li Yue away. Her hand inched closer to a glass, and she splashed Li Yue with water. "You should've thought clearly before doing that."
~~~~~
Immediately after Liu Zong had clicked on the link, all the computers, phones, and electronic displays connected to the internet throughout the capital had blacked out. Their screens flashed again only after Liu Zong pressed the "start" button.
The live broadcast room from his phone was now being projected onto every single screen with the title,
[The Rich Daughters of the Noble Families Bully Their Classmates.]
Within just a few minutes, this caused a huge sensation on the internet. When the news reached the school's dean, he quickly made his way to the cafeteria.
~~~~~
"Why are you guys doing this to me? What wrong have I ever done to you?" Li Yue cried out loudly, her face covered under her bangs as she looked up at the three girls in front of her.
"What you've done wrong, huh?" Shen Ying sneered. "Your biggest crime is being born! You should just die and save everyone from further trouble."
Li Yue stumbled backwards and slowly asked, "Can't you just let me go?"
"Let you go?" Mo Ting repeated her words. "I suppose we can." An evil smile formed on her lips as she demanded, "Only if you get on your knees and kowtow to us!" She pointed her finger downward.
Li Yue's head hung low, her hands clenched tightly on her sides, and without a word, she fell down on her knees.
Seeing that, Mo Ting, Shen Ying and Yang Li felt quite proud of themselves and wore smug smiles. Mo Ting tapped her shoe on the floor. "Go on!" she said, her voice filled with amusement.
Right at that moment, a loud, piercing voice cut through the air, echoing in the cafeteria. "What do you think you're doing?"
Everyone turned around, their eyes widening in shock upon seeing the school's dean standing at the entrance, accompanied by a group of teachers. They had grim expressions on their faces.
The students immediately stepped aside, giving way to the principal, who angrily stormed towards the trio. "How dare you bully your school mates?" he roared loudly once he reached near them.
He glanced at Li Yue before asking a female teacher to come over and help her get up.
Then, he turned to the three girls, who stood frozen, trembling uncontrollably.
"You three, follow me to my office," he said sternly before turning around and walking away.
But they were too shocked and scared to move, so the dean had to ask his assistant to escort them to the principal's office. He also asked the teacher to take Li Yue to the infirmary to avoid further disturbance.
After everyone left, the crowd dispersed, and the live broadcast got disconnected automatically, leaving Liu Zong completely stunned.
