Hi, everyone! I'm new to this app, but writing has always been a passion of mine. I hope you find this story interesting and enjoyable. As the title suggests, this is a What If Naruto was in Dandadan story, but I've made some changes to his power level to make things a bit more interesting. I hope you enjoy this version of Naruto and the adventure that unfolds. Thanks for reading
The battlefield trembled as dimensions tore and warped around them, fragments of space and time collapsing in on themselves. The Infinite Tsukuyomi's pale glow cast a sickly light across the land, as Kaguya Ootsutsuki, the Rabbit Goddess, hovered in the center of the destruction, her presence a manifestation of pure, overwhelming power.
Naruto Uzumaki stood at the center of it all, his body glowing with the intensity of Six Paths Sage Mode, the golden aura surrounding him radiating with otherworldly power. His eyes shimmered with the wisdom of the Sage of Six Paths, yet his soul burned with the unyielding will to protect the world. The chakra of the Nine-Tails, Kurama, flowed alongside his own, surging like a wildfire ready to consume any obstacle.
Beside him, Sasuke Uchiha gritted his teeth, his muscles taut with tension. His crimson Rinnegan spun, analyzing every movement, every pulse of chakra that radiated from Kaguya. His voice was sharp, his frustration barely hidden. "What's the plan, dobe? We both need to get close to her if we're going to seal her, but she's not that stupid. If anything, she'll only let one of us approach her, and that's if she feels cocky."
Naruto's gaze remained fixed on Kaguya, but a faint smirk tugged at his lips. "That's it, Sasuke. You're right. She won't let us both get close. But she's not invincible. She thinks she's untouchable, but I bet she still has one weakness we can use."
Sasuke glared at him, his patience wearing thin. "Stop dodging the question. What are you planning?"
Naruto's smirk widened as he turned toward Kaguya, his voice rising, calm but carrying an edge that hinted at something deeper. "You don't mind us saying goodbye, do you, grandmother? After all, we're both the sons of your son. You still love him, right? So it's only fair for you to let his children have a moment."
Kaguya's eyes narrowed. The title "grandmother" felt like a mockery, yet her expression betrayed a flicker of hesitation. Mentioning Hagoromo and Hamura the sons who her betrayed was a calculated risk, one that Naruto had gambled on. For all her godlike power, for all her centuries of isolation, there were remnants of humanity buried deep within her.
"Very well," Kaguya said, her voice resonating coldly, like ice scraping against stone. "Say your farewells. But once you are done, I will end you both. Your defiance is meaningless."
Naruto turned back to Sasuke, his smirk softening into something almost wistful. "Come on, Sasuke. One last handshake before we both head to our deaths."
Sasuke's glare intensified, suspicion flickering in his dark eyes. "You're up to something. I can tell. What are you—-"
"Trust me," Naruto interrupted, his voice firm but sincere. "We've come this far together, haven't we? Just trust me this one last time."
Sasuke hesitated, his jaw tightening. Finally, with a low grunt of irritation, he extended his hand, gripping Naruto's firmly.
As their hands met, Naruto's chakra surged. Hidden beneath the gesture was an intricate maneuver that Kaguya couldn't see. The sun and moon seals on their palms resonated with each other, glowing faintly as Naruto concentrated. A surge of energy passed from Sasuke to Naruto, the moon mark flowing into him.
Sasuke's eyes widened in realization as he felt the transfer. His voice dropped to a harsh whisper. "Naruto, what are you doing? You're taking it all!"
Naruto didn't look at him, his attention locked on Kaguya. "I'm doing what I have to, Sasuke. This is the only way."
He released Sasuke's hand and stepped forward, his golden aura now laced with silver threads of Ootsutsuki chakra. The transformation had begun. Naruto's skin prickled with raw energy, his body reacting to the merging of the sun and moon marks. For a moment, he felt the overwhelming weight of power not meant for mortals.
Kaguya's gaze sharpened. Her Byakugan flared as she sensed the shift in Naruto's chakra. "What have you done?"
Naruto's voice was steady, his smirk returning. "You still don't get it, do you? You think power is all that matters. But me and Sasuke? We're more than just your reincarnated grandsons. We're brothers in a way you'll never understand. And together, we're going to finish what Hagoromo and Hamura started."
Her expression darkened. "You dare speak their names? You are nothing compared to them!"
Naruto's grin widened. "Maybe not. But they didn't give up on you, and neither will we."
The provocation worked. Kaguya's chakra flared violently, her fury shattering the fragile calm of the battlefield. "Enough!" She raised her hand, summoning her All-Killing Ash Bones. A dozen bone spikes materialized in an instant, flying toward Naruto with lethal precision.
Sasuke acted without hesitation. "Naruto!" With a surge of Rinnegan power, he swapped places with Naruto, placing himself in the line of fire. The bone spike pierced his side, blood spraying into the air.
Naruto's eyes widened in shock. "Sasuke!"
"Don't stop, dobe," Sasuke hissed through gritted teeth. He used the last of his strength to teleport Naruto behind Kaguya. "Finish this!"
Naruto didn't waste a second. With Kaguya distracted by Sasuke's sacrifice, he surged forward, his hand glowing with the combined power of the sun and moon seals.
Her Byakugan caught his approach at the last second, but it was too late. Naruto's hand slammed into her back, the seals activating instantly. Chains of divine light erupted from his palm, wrapping around Kaguya and binding her in place.
"You've caused enough pain," Naruto said, his voice steady and resolute. "This ends now."
Kaguya screamed, her voice a mixture of rage and despair. The light of the seals grew brighter, consuming her as the ground beneath them cracked and splintered.
Sasuke collapsed to the ground, blood pooling beneath him. A faint smirk crossed his lips as his vision blurred. "You better not mess this up, dobe."
Naruto gritted his teeth, his energy nearly spent, but his resolve unshaken. As Kaguya's form dissolved into fragments of light, he whispered, "This is for everyone. This is for the future."
As Kaguya's scream pierced the heavens, her body began to disintegrate into pure chakra. The divine chains binding her radiated an ethereal light, drawing her fragmented essence toward the seals on Naruto's palms. The air hummed with unimaginable power as the two opposing forces Naruto's mortal will and Kaguya's godlike energy collided within him.
Naruto's hand trembled, the seals burning into his skin as they worked to contain her vast power. His entire body felt like it was on fire, his chakra pathways struggling to maintain stability. Every fiber of his being screamed in agony, but he refused to let go.
Sasuke, lying on the ground a few feet away, forced his eyes open despite the pain radiating from his wound. "Naruto..." His voice was weak, but it carried a sharp edge of urgency. "Don't... let her take you over. You're not an Ootsutsuki... You can't—"
"I don't have a choice, teme!" Naruto shouted, his voice strained as his body shuddered under the weight of Kaguya's energy. "If I let go, she'll reform. I won't let her hurt anyone else!"
The chains binding Kaguya flickered as her essence swirled around Naruto, trying to resist the pull of the seals. Her voice echoed, no longer cold and imperious, but desperate and fractured. "You cannot contain me, mortal! My power is infinite! You will lose yourself, and I will rise again!"
Naruto gritted his teeth, his golden aura flickering erratically as his Sage of Six Paths power pushed to its limit. "Maybe your power is infinite, but your heart isn't. That's why you lost. That's why you'll always lose!"
The words struck something deep within Kaguya, a wound far older than the battle itself. For a fleeting moment, her expression softened, as though she were remembering something a life, a love, a choice that had led her here. But the moment passed, and her fury returned tenfold.
Naruto felt the pressure in his mind intensify as Kaguya's chakra began to seep into him. It wasn't just energy it was her essence, her will, her memories. He saw flashes of her life the day she ate the chakra fruit, her fear of humanity, her betrayal by her sons, and the centuries of solitude that had twisted her into a monster.
The weight of her emotions crashed into him like a tidal wave. Hatred. Fear. Sorrow.
"You will not endure this!" Kaguya's voice roared within his mind. "You are nothing compared to me!"
Naruto staggered, clutching his head as the overwhelming presence threatened to consume him. But as the chaos threatened to drown him, a voice called out a voice he hadn't expected.
"Naruto."
It was Kurama. The Nine-Tails' deep, growling voice cut through the storm like a lifeline.
"You've handled worse than this, brat. Don't let some rabbit goddess scare you. Remember who you are!"
Naruto's eyes snapped open, blazing with determination. "You're right, Kurama. I'm not going to let her win!"
He reached deep within himself, pulling on the bonds that had always given him strength. Memories of his friends, his village, and every person he'd sworn to protect flashed through his mind.
"You're not taking me over," he growled, his voice steady now. "This power? It doesn't belong to you anymore. It belongs to the people you hurt. And I'll make sure it's used to protect them."
With a roar, Naruto channeled his will into the seals, forcing Kaguya's essence deeper into his body. Her energy, once wild and uncontrollable, began to settle, merging with his chakra. The golden aura around him intensified, streaks of white and silver now swirling within it.
Kaguya's voice faded, her defiance crumbling into silence. And then, she was gone.
Naruto stood amidst the ruins of the battlefield, his transformation complete. His body pulsed with a quiet, overwhelming power, the remnants of Kaguya's chakra fully absorbed into his being. The air around him grew heavy, charged with an almost divine energy, and for a moment, the world seemed to hold its breath.
Sasuke, struggling to stay upright, stared at his friend with a mix of shock and unease. "Naruto... what happened to you?"
Naruto blinked, and for the first time, Sasuke noticed the change in his eyes both had turned into Byakugan, their pearly depths shimmering with an otherworldly light. But that wasn't all. A third eye, a Rinnegan, had opened on his forehead, its intricate concentric rings glowing faintly, exuding a quiet but overwhelming authority.
"I..." Naruto's voice was quieter now, calmer, yet it carried an edge that made Sasuke's stomach twist. "I had to take all of her power to make sure she wouldn't come back. But it's more than that."
His hair, now long and snow-white, flowed gently in the breeze, a stark contrast to his once-sunny locks. His skin had grown pale, almost luminous, giving him an ethereal, almost inhuman appearance. But what caught Sasuke's attention most were the markings on Naruto's body.
The sun and moon seals had spread, no longer confined to his palms. They now etched intricate patterns across his chest, arms, and back, glowing faintly like living tattoos. The designs pulsed with energy, synchronizing with his heartbeat, as though the seals themselves had become a part of him.
But there was more. Subtle, vine-like patterns wove across his arms and legs, dark and organic, wrapping around his limbs in a way that seemed unnervingly alive. Small branch-like protrusions, delicate yet unyielding, jutted from his shoulders and upper back, their texture and color reminiscent of the God Tree.
Sasuke's Rinnegan flared to life as he scanned Naruto's chakra. His breath hitched as he saw what lay before him. "You... you've become the Ten Tails. No.."
Naruto looked at his hands, flexing his fingers as though testing the feel of his new body. "I can feel it, Sasuke. The power. Her memories. The weight of everything she carried... everything she feared." He clenched his fists, the faint glow of the seals intensifying. "It's overwhelming. But I'm still me. I won't let this change who I am."
Sasuke wasn't so sure. He saw the way the vines moved subtly, almost imperceptibly, as if alive. The Rinnegan on Naruto's forehead pulsed faintly, a constant reminder of the alien power now fused with his friend.
"Naruto..." Sasuke's voice was low, cautious. "This isn't something you can just brush off. You're not human anymore. You've become something else entirely."
Naruto turned to face him, his Byakugan eyes locking onto Sasuke's. For a moment, Sasuke saw the same Naruto he'd always known the knuckleheaded ninja who refused to give up, the friend who believed in him when no one else did. But behind that gaze, there was something else, something ancient and unknowable, a presence that hadn't been there before.
"I know," Naruto said quietly. His voice carried an edge of sorrow. "But that doesn't matter. As long as I can protect everyone... as long as I can keep the peace we fought for, I'll bear this burden."
Sasuke's lips pressed into a thin line. "And if you lose control?"
Naruto's expression softened, a small, familiar grin breaking through the tension. It was the kind of grin Sasuke hadn't seen since they were kids reckless, self-assured, and carrying a weight only Naruto could shoulder.
"Well, I have a plan but it isn't that great if I am being honest, our friends are still trapped inside the God Tree... or... well inside of me now so my plan is to allow my body and mind to became one fuly with the god tree, allowing them to be free which means even if I lose control I be inside of that thing.
As Naruto said this he looked at the god tree knowing it now be his new form.
Sasuke's hands balled into fists, his teeth gritting in frustration. "That's insane, even for you! You're seriously just going to throw your life away? After everything we've been through?"
Naruto's gaze didn't waver. "I'm not throwing my life away, Sasuke. I'm making sure the people I care about get to live theirs. Isn't that what we've been fighting for this whole time?"
"You think that makes it okay?" Sasuke snapped, his voice rising. "You think anyone will be happy knowing you're gone? You always talk about protecting people, but have you ever thought about how much it'll hurt them to lose you?"
Naruto flinched, the words hitting him harder than any blow. But after a moment, he smiled faintly. "I know it'll hurt. But it's better than the alternative. If I stay like this, I'm a ticking time bomb, Sasuke. And if I go off, no one will be able to stop me not even you."
Sasuke was silent, his jaw tight as he looked away. He hated it hated how much sense Naruto's words made.
Naruto stepped forward and clapped a hand on Sasuke's shoulder, his grip firm despite the gentle expression on his face. "Look, I'm not asking you to agree with me. I'm just asking you to trust me. Just one more time."
Sasuke closed his eyes, his shoulders sagging. "I hate you, dobe. You're always like this."
Naruto chuckled softly. "I know. And you're always a pain in the ass, but you're still my best friend."
He turned away, his gaze sweeping over the battlefield one last time. The scars of their fight were everywhere the shattered earth, the ruined sky, the echoes of lives lost. But amidst the destruction, there was hope. People were stirring, waking up from the nightmare Kaguya had cast over them.
Naruto raised his hands, the seals on his body glowing brightly as he began to channel the energy within him. The ground beneath his feet trembled as the God Tree's remnants responded, its roots twisting and curling toward him like extensions of his own body.
"Take care of them for me, Sasuke," Naruto said, his voice steady despite the weight of his decision. "And don't let them think I'm gone. Just tell them... I'll always be watching over them."
Sasuke opened his mouth to argue, to say something anything but the words wouldn't come. He could only watch as Naruto's form began to merge with the God Tree, his body dissolving into pure energy, his light spreading across the battlefield.
The roots of the God Tree shimmered, releasing the trapped forms of those ensnared by the Infinite Tsukuyomi. One by one, people fell gently to the ground, their chakra restored, their lives returned. The battlefield grew quiet, the only sound the soft rustling of leaves as the God Tree completed its transformation.
Where Naruto had stood, there was now a towering, radiant tree, its branches reaching toward the heavens. The markings of the sun and moon glowed faintly on its bark, a silent reminder of the hero who had sacrificed everything.
Sasuke stood there for a long moment, staring at the tree. His hands clenched at his sides, and for the first time in years, he felt the sting of tears.
"Idiot," he muttered, his voice trembling. "You really had to go and pull something like this, didn't you?"
But even as the pain settled in his chest, Sasuke couldn't help but feel a sense of peace. Naruto had done what he always did found a way to save everyone, even at the cost of himself.
And as the sun broke through the clouds, casting its light over the battlefield, Sasuke swore to honor his friend's sacrifice
