Looking over at the city through the night sky, Thelo couldn't believe what he was seeing. It looked as if there were thousands of stars of different colors dancing within the space of these tall buildings with the noise of machines and people that you could hear clearly from the mountain above.
"Come along Thelo this is the new place you will be living for the next few years for your coming of age ceremony out of a hatchling." A man in an all black cloak to hide any features of him.
"What type of place will I be staying in?" Thelo asked the cloaked figure trying to get a peak at the figure's face.
"Your staying in the land Larish you best be careful of not having your identity exposed. They don;t like our kind much on this planet" The cloaked figure said in an emotionless tone as ever.
Thelo almost tripped over his feet when he heard while staying in Larish the people that hate their kind the most saying their unholy abominations. But this was the way of his people where once he reached 16 years of age he had to go to enemy lands and survive there.
Usually the people who'd be sent would go to much nicer lands where their kind weren't being persecuted. Sadly for being who he is they must make this trial very challenging.
"So what type of place will I be staying in?" Thelo asked, only to be met with the silence of the night.
After walking for what seemed like hours the figure stopped in front of a small 1 story house
"This is your residence. With This I'll be taking my leave." like that the figure vanished before his very eyes.
Seeing a letter where the figure once was he bent down and picked it up where it read
This is your new home filled with all basic needs and some money for your long stay here. Also you have been enrolled into the academy around these parts and you must attend also you only have 1 week worth of food.

After reading this Thelo walked inside, checked out the kitchen, living room, bathroom and his bedroom and saw everything was furnished and fully stocked with his everyday needs.
Opening the fridge Thelo saw the 3 pints of blood filling his refrigerator. Seeing his meal he decided to drink all that he needed and went to bed when he saw that there was more written on the back of the letter.

"HAHAHAHAHA" Thelo couldn't help himself from laughing at such nonsensical ideas. With that he headed to bed to begin his new life here while deeply missing his home.
