I nodded along as the teacher babbled on and on about maintaining discipline and all.
It has been 17 years huh.
I remember that I was just cosplaying as 'Silk' at my home, that I got from AliExpress.
I was standing in my balcony, making shooting gestures. But an earthquake happened, and I fell down from the 15th floor. Dying painfully.
I was probably thought of a mentally ill person who believed that she can actually swing just because of cosplaying. That was an embarrassing death.
Thankfully, I got reincarnated.
Not so thankfully, it was the world of Marvel. And I was reincarnated as Cindy Moon. Who would later become Silk.
I was a fan of Marvel movies until Endgame. And I had watched Spider-Man trilogy and even The Amazing Spider-Man.
But comics? No. Comics are trash compared to Mangas.
Aside from the movies, I knew some things that I came across from the internet. And I found Silk, and really liked her costume. That I even got a cosplay costume myself.
I know very little about the character of Cindy Moon in the comics. But my backstory is normal. My parents are normal. And my younger brother is normal. I don't think they are from SHIELD/HYDRA or anything.
Though if they are, I am not too sure.
I am not a world-class genius like every single Spider-person is. But, I have very good memory. I can remember everything since I was born into this world. But, that doesn't mean that I can create gadgets like Arc Reactor or other bullshit like some fanfic protagonists.
Anyway, this world is a mix of MCU, since Tony Stark is as I remember from the movies, and the events of Iron Man 1 and 2 have already happened. It is RDJ who is Tony Stark.
But, there is Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker and Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy in my class. And it is currently 2011, just a month after the events of Iron-Man 2.
As for events of Thor and Hulk? I don't know. I don't even know if Captain America has been brought out of the ice. I guess those incidents are pretty much covered up.
Anyway, in these 17 years of my life, knowing that I might get spider powers, and even if I don't, knowing that this is the world of Marvel, I have made several preparations.
First is, avoid people in the main cast.
Second is, making some money.
As I am a minor, I couldn't exactly invest in companies like Google and Apple.
So, I first learnt some basic things like creating a website, which didn't take much time to learn due to my good memory. I created Webnovel.com, where I started posting my Mangas and Light Novels, and fanfictions.

Learning how to draw Mangas wasn't that hard. Okay, it was hard. But it didn't take too much time.
And while I am not as good as Murata, I am almost as good as Kishimoto.
I have combined Patreon like feature into the website, which also has an App now, and used what I started earning at the age of 10 to rent servers and now, I am brimming in money. Whatever I can't do myself, I throw it towards Infosys and TCS.
Well, I got contract from a manga company in Japan for them to be able to publish them, and I don't have any editor on my back or deadlines.
Love is War is going to be aired soon by KyoAni.
And Jujutsu Kaisen's first season is going to be aired by Mappa that is recently established.
And I used most of the money I have to invest in Stark Industries when the stocks plummeted after Tony Stark announced shutting down its weapons industry.
So, at the age of 17, I am a millionaire, with a good house away from cameras, and I live alone.
Perfect for me.
And it's a good thing that I didn't invest in Google and Apple. They have lost most of the market share due to Tony Stark.
Sadly though, I have good memory in this life, not my previous one. So I don't know where to find the Ancient One to learn magic.
Now, I just have to make sure that I get bitten by the spider.

I listened to the lecture by the person in charge, while standing behind Peter.
So in this universe, there isn't actually any show of spiders huh?
I saw a spider suddenly land on Peter's neck, and bit him.
"Ouch!"
He slapped the spider, and it fell on me, and bit me before dying.
I endured the pain, and crushed the spider by my feet, sticking it to the sole of my shoe.
Let's get out of here and properly dispose off the spider. I don't see any CCTV cameras focused on my location.
It doesn't seem like Peter has realised that he has been bit. He probably thought that it was a mosquito.
"Alright guys! That was the last part of tour. You all can go home now."
I walked normally, and got into my taxi that I have ordered beforehand. This guy doesn't charge much, and comes everytime I call him.
"Let's go Dopinder."
"Yes Miss!"
As I hummed along the Bollywood song he was playing, I started feeling ill. I could feel myself sweating.
But thankfully, we reached soon.
After paying him, I entered home, and removed my clothes, put on my pajamas, and plopped down on my bed.
And before I knew it, I fell asleep.

I smashed the alarm clock's button. But instead of just stopping, it got smashed into pieces.
I woke up, feeling strangely refreshed, and full of energy.
I noticed that I am fully dripped in sweat, and I feel a strange power running through me.
I smiled, and looked at a my bag lying on the floor.
I made the Spider-Man gesture, but sadly, nothing came out.
Will I need web-shooters? I wanted organic web-
Suddenly, webs shot out. From my fingers instead of wrist.
Oh. So that's how it works?
I have organic webs!
From today, I am Silk!
