In 2025, a strange event suddenly occurred on planet Earth. Because a mysterious power came hurtling towards the planet at such incredible speed that people didn't even have time to comprehend what was really happening.

This stange power now descending up on earth appeared to be a ray of light and darkness, seemingly descending from heaven. It was an external force unlike anything known to this world, not even composed of atoms. It was like it originated from another realm, one that didn't even exist within the confines of space.

This otherworldly force looking like a ray composed of light and darkness was not gonna be a ray for so much longer since it gradually started to fade as it merged with Earth. the consequence for the ray to merge with the planet was that earth expanded to three times its original size to accommodate and merge with the strange energy. Now not only did Earth grow larger, but its landscape was also reshaped, resembling what it might have looked like at the dawn of its creation. The planet now consisted of three enormous landmasses: one in the west, one in the east, and one in the south.

After the power had fully merged with Earth, three new rays of light and darkness appeared. One ray, full of pure light, emerged from the west. Another, composed entirely of darkness, rose from the east. The third, a harmonious blend of light and darkness resembling yin and yang, came from the south.

Each of these rays concentrated on three individuals, those individual's became the primary wielders of their respective powers. However, a portion of this power leaked from the wielders and spread across the entire Earth. This infusion caused the three landmasses—and everyone living on them—to gain abilities derived from the rays, This event created what was later gona be referred to as the era of magic.

But not everyone received magic. A very small number of people were left without any powers, and they quickly became outcasts, unwanted by the rest of the world. In response, those without magic gathered together and built a village, naming it Muuryoku Village, meaning "Powerless Village."
