Chapter 124 - Magic Plant Bag

"Well, I'm back. This is my friend I met at Hogwarts, Irina Lowell."

Lynn nodded and then introduced Irina behind him to his mother.

Irina also approached Lynn at that moment and greeted her warmly: "Hello, Auntie, I'm a friend of Lynn. I left Hogwarts this Christmas and didn't have a place to stay, so Lynn brought me here. I've been quite troubled these past few days."

Upon hearing this, Rowena nodded slightly and then tentatively asked, "Welcome, but are you just friends or something more?"

When Rowena said this, Irina's pretty face turned red suddenly, and she felt a little overwhelmed.

Finally, Lynn responded, "For now, we are still just friends."

Rowena picked up on the key word "for now." She looked at both of them ambiguously and then asked Lynn to show Irina to her room.

"There are still many empty rooms on the third floor, come with me."

Lynn said.

Rolle Castle has five floors, excluding the roof. The first floor is the kitchen, dining room, and living room, while the second floor is where Lynn, Rowena, and the former Hendry lived.

There are four or five empty rooms on the third floor of the castle, two of which are vacant bedrooms. After a little cleaning, they can be provided for guests to stay.

The fourth floor of the castle is where books and other collections are kept, similar to a small library and collection room.

As for the fifth floor of the castle, Lynn didn't know, because the staircase leading to the fifth floor was sealed with an ancient magic. Lynn did not yet have the ability to break the magic to go to the fifth floor, and when Lynn asked what exactly was on the fifth floor, Rowena avoided talking about it.

However, Lynn could directly access the last floor of the castle through another spiral staircase. Therefore, apart from the fifth floor, Lynn could go anywhere in the castle.

Irina followed Lynn to a guest bedroom on the third floor and looked around at everything in the room.

There was a warm LED light at the top of the room, which Lynn had obviously brought from the Muggle world.

The bed in the room wasn't large, about the same size as the bed in Irina's former college dorm. There was a dresser in the northwest corner, and the west wall was full of empty cabinets for storing items.

Additionally, there was a private bathroom in the room, which left Irina quite satisfied.

"Cleaned."

Lynn waved his wand, and the room, which had originally been filled with dust, suddenly became very clean and beautiful, as if it were new.

Irina had been a little cautious when she first arrived at the castle, but after entering the room and leaving her luggage, she finally relaxed.

She wasn't sure why, but after meeting Lynn's mother a moment ago, she felt inexplicably nervous.

"Where is the big, comfortable bed you promised? This small bed isn't so big."

Irina joked.

Lynn slightly lifted the corner of his mouth and said, "This is the guest room. My bed is really quite large. So, do you want to sleep with me under the big blanket?"

"Tsk, your abacus is about to jump at me!"

"Hey, what are you doing? Do you want a big bed for yourself?"

"Little Heizi! Can you give me some lychees?"

The next morning, early in the morning.

Irina woke up in the room that Lynn had assigned her and looked at the Christmas presents stacked on the floor.

Irina didn't stay at Hogwarts this Christmas but at Lynn's house. Therefore, the owl that could automatically track the location of a wizard naturally delivered her Christmas gifts to Rowle Manor, and the house-elf Gale thoughtfully sent the Christmas gifts to the room.

The first thing Irina did upon waking up on Christmas Day was open the presents, and she happily opened them one by one.

The Christmas gifts Irina received this year were similar to last year, but due to her and Lynn's efforts to repel the remnants of Voldemort the previous year, many young wizards she didn't know gave her presents. Most of these gifts were her favorites—desserts and some gadgets.

However, this time Irina didn't immediately keep all the desserts as she did last time; instead, she smelled them and sorted them into categories.

Some of the desserts that smelled like potions or didn't match the expected taste of food were immediately discarded by Irina.

No one knew if there were some older and younger perverts who might have slipped love potions into the gifts they gave. If Irina accidentally ate food containing love potions, it would be disastrous, just like what happened to Ron in the original novel.

Whether the potion was good or bad, Irina wouldn't dare to try any dessert that smelled like a magical potion. And some desserts that didn't taste like food were more likely to be love potions because anyone who smells the scent of love potions would immediately smell their favorite fragrance.

Although Irina didn't know what her favorite flavor was, as long as it didn't match the food, she would throw it away.

After all, it's impossible for a milk cake to smell burnt, right?!

Besides these more mundane gifts, Lynn's Christmas gift made her eyes light up.

It was a magical plant bag refined through alchemy. This magical plant bag looked like an ordinary shoulder bag, but from the instructions given by Lynn, Irina learned that this magical plant bag had a special extra space that could be used to grow magical plants.

After planting magical plants in this bag, they could automatically absorb magical power and convert it into nutrients for growth, even skipping the photosynthesis process.

In other words, as long as the seeds were planted in the magical plant bag, Irina could carry these magical plants with her and take them out directly from the bag during battle.

As for how many magical plants this bag could contain, it was about ten.

This magical plant bag amazed Irina.

After opening the Christmas gifts, Irina left the room and went down to the restaurant on the first floor.

At that moment, Lynn's mother seemed to have finished breakfast and was walking around the manor, while Lynn was still quietly cutting a piece of steak.

"Are you coming? Here, have your breakfast."

When Lynn saw Irina come down, he casually pointed to the plate at the other end of the dining table.

On the plate, there was a thick steak, two slices of bread, a small salad, and a glass of steaming milk next to the plate.

Upon seeing the lavish breakfast, Irina thanked him in surprise and began to enjoy it.

After Irina finished her breakfast, Lynn stood up and said, "Let's go, I'll take you to Knockturn Alley."

"Yes!" Irina quickly stepped forward and followed Lynn, looking very happy.
