I sigh at the letter and think of that fateful day 16 years ago. I remember being reborn into the world of Pokemon. I was 24 at the time and was enjoying my time dressed as a hunter from monster hunter, derring armor, and I also had decided to customize a Eevee plushie with it's own 3d printed armor, felyne iron armor set. After an entire day of walking around the convention buying stuff that I fancied I was suddenly struck by a truck after leaving.
Yep classic isekai moment but I don't think a Tesla Garbage can, oops cyber truck, was the truck commonly used. Anyway I was reborn in the Pokemon world. How do I know well opening my eyes to a mudsdale face was a big indicator. My luck was pretty rotten since I was basically abandoned moments after my birth and left to freeze in the winter. Thankfully the mudsdale kept me warm with its large body and hay until the one person I really connected with came.
Obsidian Kan was an old farmer of about 60 years when he took me in as his grandson. He raised me against his kids wishes and I grew up on the farm with him. The farm life was rough at first but I quickly adapted to it as well as the schooling in the paldea region. It was a good life up until I went to narjana/uva academy at ten. That's when I noticed the first sign this was an au. Both academies were there just separated by the students choice. Professor sada and turo were also there and the expedition to area zero and the time machine hasn't happened yet.
School life was easy for me as I already knew all the basics of Pokemon from my previous life,but there was a problem, bullying. I was bullied for just being a country farmer and they believed I shouldn't be in the school. So I had no friends during my year there. I completed the course work and the finals with exemplary grades granting me my diploma before the treasure hunt started off.
My starter pokemon was a female mudbray that I raised since a foal after she was birthed from the mudsdale that looked after me. Also another thing about this world is that Pokemon don't always lay eggs, Mammalian Pokemon give live births. Anyway the mudbray evolved into mudsdale during my treasure hunt, in which I chose to compete in the league. We went through everything together and we completed the paldea league but I chose not to challenge the elite four and champion.
My team which consisted of a female mudsdale, a female Gardevoir, a female zoroark, a female Lucario, a female sprigatito, and a female Dragonair. Yes my team was all female and I was ok with that. After the paldea league I traveled to the other regions and competed in both leagues and Pokemon contests, obtaining new Pokemon along the way. In each region I gained at least ten Pokemon to add on my team. I've taken care of all them as I've traveled across the world. Whenever they weren't with me they were in the pc boxes in stasis.

Of course everyone of these are female even ukulele Pichu is female. After my time in the regions I decided to join the ranger school in almia at fifteen. By my sixteenth birthday I saved almia from team dimsun, and just last year I saved the oblivia region past and present. My adventures are worth more than a lifetime and I believe it's time to settle down.

" It's ok Pichu I'm just thinking of some heavy stuff." I say patting her head causing her to lean into my touch. I was never really that well liked by my peers and partners until I proved myself to them and then it was a little to late. They showed their true colors then decided to put it behind a mask. I sigh standing up from the shoreline and stretch.
Voicemail voicemail: ranger natsu come in this is chairwoman Erma. I've received your last transmission about your family matters and I've decided to force you into semi retirement. You'll be able to continue ranger work but only for the region of paldea unless official confirmation from myself says otherwise.
I nod my head at the voicemail and pat ukulele Pichu again before calling latios from my guardian sign. I point him to the paldea region and prepare for the long ride.
