Sengoku's expression grew serious as he turned his gaze to Uchiha Kitaro, unsure how the young Uchiha would handle the situation.
Kitaro sighed in exasperation. "Hey, hey, hey! This is supposed to be just a sparring match! Do we really need to take it this far?"
What a shameless move—pulling down a meteor to flip the table. That was outright cheating.
"Hehe," Fujitora chuckled lightly. "Since I'm sparring with a member of the legendary Uchiha Clan, it's only right to take this seriously, don't you agree?"
In the blink of an eye, the enormous meteor plummeted from the heavens.
"Damn it!"
Ryokugyu was the first to bear the brunt of the assault. His massive tree-form body disintegrated upon impact, burning and crumbling to ash in an instant.
Fujitora, crouched low, summoned layers of gravitational rings above his head. This time, he applied reverse gravity, shattering chunks of the meteor as they neared him.
Meanwhile, Kitaro conjured a massive Rasengan, its relentless spinning obliterating any piece of the meteor it touched.
BOOM!
The meteor's impact unleashed a cataclysmic explosion, its shockwaves rippling outward and annihilating everything in their path.
Moments later, as the smoke cleared, the battlefield was revealed. At the center of the island, an unfathomably deep crater remained, its edges jagged and scorched.
The only intact areas were the spots beneath Kitaro and Fujitora. They now stood on narrow columns of earth, elevated above the wreckage.
"As expected of someone from the legendary Uchiha Clan," Fujitora remarked, his voice calm yet filled with admiration. "Even a meteor can't seem to faze you."
Deep within the crater, a single seed sprouted, blossoming into a flower from which Ryokugyu regenerated.
"That damned blind old man!" Ryokugyu roared in anger. "How dare you pull something like that!"
Green energy surged from the crater, causing trees to erupt forth. In no time, Ryokugyu's enormous form reassembled, towering once again over the battlefield.
"Impressive," Kitaro commented with a smirk. "You really are persistent. Nature's resilience, huh?"
"Damn right!" Ryokugyu snarled. "Don't think you can get rid of me so easily! As long as I'm connected to the earth, I'll never die!"
With that, he controlled a swarm of vine-like branches, which shot toward Kitaro and Fujitora like spears.
Fujitora sliced through the oncoming branches with precise strikes, though they regrew almost instantly.
Kitaro, on the other hand, leaped gracefully into the air, shouting, "Rankyaku!"
A sharp energy slash cleaved through Ryokugyu's torso.
Slash!
"Argh!" Ryokugyu cried out, his massive form bisected.
"Got you!" Kitaro remarked. But to his surprise, the severed halves of Ryokugyu's body sprouted vines that reconnected and healed the damage within seconds.
"Tch. So, that's not even your real body, huh?" Kitaro muttered, narrowing his eyes. "Fine. If you want to flip the table, I'll show you how it's really done."
With a burst of chakra, Kitaro propelled himself higher into the sky.
As he hovered midair, a Rasengan materialized in his hand, growing rapidly in size. Within moments, it expanded to a staggering diameter of over 20 meters, radiating blue and white energy.
To amplify its power, Kitaro infused it with Wind Release chakra, causing it to spin like a massive shuriken.
"Hey, hey, hey!" Aokiji exclaimed from the sidelines. "Isn't that thing a bit too dangerous?"
Feeling the overwhelming energy, Sengoku, Kizaru, and Aokiji all wore grim expressions.
From above, Kitaro shouted, "You think you're the only ones who can flip the table? Let me show you what real table-flipping looks like!"
" Wind Style: Super Massive Rasen Shuriken!"
Fujitora, sensing the attack's sheer power, grew serious. "Gravity Blade: Raging Tiger!"
He unleashed a fearsome wave of horizontal gravity, aiming to counter the Rasenshuriken.
BOOM!
The gravitational force clashed with the Rasenshuriken, but it was overwhelmed in an instant.
Ryokugyu, now in his humanoid form, pressed his hands to the ground, commanding a forest of massive, Haki-infused trees to rise and intercept the attack.
CRACK!
The trees shattered on contact with the Rasenshuriken, reduced to dust in mere moments.
"Not good!" Fujitora's expression shifted. He slashed at Ryokugyu with his gravity blade, sending the other admiral hurtling away.
Meanwhile, Fujitora used reverse gravity to propel himself out of harm's way.
The Rasenshuriken struck the massive crater left by the earlier meteor strike.
KA-BOOM!
The resulting explosion was akin to a nuclear detonation. A colossal sphere of wind energy expanded outward, engulfing the entire island in seconds.
The shockwave generated an enormous tsunami, its towering waves hurtling toward the distant Navy warships.
"Ice Age!"
Aokiji immediately froze the approaching tsunami, saving the ships from destruction.
After a long moment of chaos, the sea calmed once more.
"Phew…"
Suddenly, a piercing laser from Kizaru's finger shattered the remaining ice, clearing the view ahead.
What they saw left everyone in stunned silence.
"The island… it's gone!"
The vast ocean stretched endlessly before them, with no trace of the island that had once stood there.
The Navy soldiers aboard the ships were trembling. Some had experienced the Summit War at Marineford and remembered the devastation caused by Kitaro's older brother. Now, they were witnessing history repeat itself—only this time, it was Kitaro himself who had annihilated an island.
"Do both brothers have a hobby of destroying islands…?" whispered one terrified soldier.
