In a one-room apartment, a woman can be seen laying on the bed, frowning her face due to the sunshine streaming in through the only window. The woman on the bed slowly opened her eyes. "Where am I? Didn't I jump into the ocean? Did I survive or was I saved?" "Someone did indeed save you," a voice said abruptly. The voice surprised Meiganon; she peered around the room but couldn't detect anything. "Have I started hallucinating?"
The voice said, "I'm inside your head, dumbass," and then a little, square, transparent blue system materialized in front of Meiganon. To make sure she hadn't started seeing things in addition to hearing strange noises, Meiganon wiped her eyes.
"My name is Megatek, and I'm the hundred system. You did die when you jumped from the bridge, but because you didn't die peacefully, and I also needed someone to carry out my mission, I decided to give you another chance at life," said an AI-like voice that boomed out from the transparent interface. Meiganon opens her lips in surprise, nearly convinced that she is hallucinating, if it weren't for the fact that she knew she had perished after falling over that bridge. She got up and jabbed her finger at the blue system. "Wow, you're real," Meiganon exclaimed in shock.
"Since you're shocked today, I will let the fact that you touched me slide, but please don't do that again," instructed the system. "Why is it acting as if its body has been sullied?" Meiganon asked herself, beginning to accept that she had been woken by the strange system. "Thank you for letting me live; please leave," Meganon said to the system.
"What part of i revived you because you're needed for a mission do you not understand? If you refuse to do the mission, then I can only kill you back," said the system to meiganon. "What a stingy system; can't he just count reviving me as doing a good deed?" Meiganon thought to herself but still asked the system, "What mission do you have for me?" Meiganon isn't one to turn down a mission.
"Your mission is to save a man named Mark Chester. There are hundred worlds in the universe, and in all of these worlds, Mark Chester always died at the age of twenty-five. He is always successful in whatever he does, and he is cold, and in all of these worlds, he has never fallen in love because he always died at the age of twenty-five." The system paused, allowing the information it just said to sink in Meiganon's mind before continuing, "Your mission is to make sure he doesn't die at that age."
"You want me to save him from dying in hundred worlds; when will I ever be free? You might as well kill me back now.". Meiganon spoke to the system. "You don't have to save him from all hundred worlds; you just have to save him from five worlds; these five worlds are the major worlds; after completing that, you'll be free to do whatever you want in the fifth world and can be rid of me in the fifth world because once his fate has been changed in this world, it will reflect on the other ninety-five worlds," the system explained to Meiganon. Meiganon nodded her head that she was listening and motioned to the system to continue.
"I can assure you that some of the world's will have bigger challenges than the first world, so you have to be careful that you did not die, because dying signifies that you failed already, and once you fail, you are to have your soul scattered to ashes, never to be reborn," said the system.
"Do you have to be so scary and terrifying?" Meiganon said while pouting, "Ok, I will do it."
"You'll have to fall in love with Mark Chester, but once his twenty-fifth birthday passes, you'll have to leave him; that loneliness will be the price that Mark will pay for not having to die in all hundred worlds."
