Chapter 59 - Don't you need to be repaid?

Tsunade, with a mischievous smile, waits for the perfect moment to counterattack. She lunges forward, her muscles tensing, and delivers a powerful punch to Shikai's abdomen. The impact is so violent that the air escapes, and Shikai is sent flying backward, his breath knocked out of him.

Without giving him a chance to recover, Tsunade follows up with a series of kicks, targeting Shikai's vital points. Her legs, as fast as arrows, strike with surgical precision, sending Shikai flying through the air. He tries to stabilize himself, but Tsunade's strength is such that he struggles to remain standing.

Determined not to be dominated, Shikai gathers his strength. He concentrates, channeling his chakra throughout his body, and his muscles bulge, becoming more defined. He launches a series of punches at Tsunade, each blow more powerful than the last. His fists crash down on her, but Tsunade, with incredible agility, moves laterally, dodging each punch with millimeter-perfect precision.

With immense power, Tsunade strikes Shikai with a side kick, sending him crashing into a tree.

"Damn! Why is she so aggressive!"

The impact is so forceful that the trunk explodes under the pressure. Dazed, Shikai attempts to stand up, but Tsunade, showing no mercy, continues her assault. She charges at him, her eyes determined, and sends him reeling with a direct punch to the jaw.

Despite the pain, Shikai refuses to give in. He gets back up, his determination intact, and launches a desperate attack. He rushes towards Tsunade, his fists and feet raining down on her with incredible speed and force. Tsunade, with surprising agility, evades each blow.

Suddenly, Shikai delivers a spinning kick aimed at Tsunade's head. With a smile, she ducks, narrowly avoiding the strike. Taking advantage of Shikai's momentum, she grabs his leg and uses it as a lever, throwing him to the ground. Surprised, Shikai tries to rise, but Tsunade, with incredible speed, positions herself above him. She delivers a well-placed "Heavenly Lance" strike to his stomach.

"Aaarrh!"

"Well played," she says, offering him a hand to help him up.

"I felt like you were going to kill me..."

"He he, you surprised me. Your resilience to pain is impressive. It seems I pushed this test a bit too far."

"It would seem so," he retorted, crouching on the ground.

"You're pouting, aren't you?"

Tsunade lifted him to his feet.

"Don't worry. Since you can't move, I'll feed you like in the old days. I miss those moments~"

"No, thank you."

"Well, yes~."

...

The following morning, Shikai continued selling his explosive scrolls at the local market.

He smiled as he counted his earnings. "Six million ryōs. Not bad for a simple hobby."

The hustle and bustle of cities and Tsunade's debts were no longer a surprise to Shikai. But this time, the situation was more serious than usual. Upon entering a lively small town, Tsunade quickly found a casino where she lost a significant sum, accumulating a debt of several million ryōs. The owners, tired of her antics, alerted bounty hunters to reclaim their money. However, being only at the level of a genin, they were beaten up.

That evening, as was her habit, Tsunade returned to the inn drunk. She stumbled into the room, laughing and muttering incomprehensible words.

Shikai, already tired from his training, rolled his eyes.

"Again? Can't you really control yourself?" he asked with an exasperated sigh.

Tsunade collapsed onto a futon, ignoring his reproaches. "Shikai... life is too short to worry about all this... You'll see one day... when you're older..."

Shikai covered her with a blanket, muttering to himself. "Keep it up, Tsunade."

The next morning, Tsunade, despite a clear hangover,

"Shikai, you're becoming more and more reliable. At this rate, I could almost rely on you completely," she said with a half-amused, half-proud smile.

Shikai frowned. "That's no excuse for leaving everything to me. You need to stop gambling and drinking. This can't go on like this."

Tsunade evaded the conversation with a joke.

...

Later that day, Shikai left the inn to train on a rocky field on the outskirts of the town. The dry, hot air made every movement more exhausting, but he was determined to perfect his mastery of the *Enhanced Chakra Force*.

That evening, while Tsunade slipped out to drink and gamble, Shikai used Hiraishin... the location he had visited remained unknown.

The following day, as Shikai trained once more on the rocky field, a group of bounty hunters entered the town, searching for Tsunade.

Alerted by the locals, Shikai left his training to observe the intruders.

"Tsunade Senju, you owe a massive debt here. Come out immediately, or we'll track you to the ends of the earth!" one of them shouted in the main street.

Tsunade, who had just woken up, yawned and stepped out of the inn. "You're making a lot of noise for such a small amount of money."

Shikai appeared at her side. "Let me handle this."

Tsunade raised an eyebrow. "Really?"

Shikai nodded. "How much does she owe?"

"Oh, what does this kid want?"

"Don't you need to be repaid?" Shikai retorted, exhausted.

"Tss. So she owes our client one million ryōs, and since my friends are quite tired of looking for you everywhere, an additional five hundred thousand is adequate. So, can you pay?" the leader said with a wide smile.

"Well, here's the sum," Shikai threw a scroll at them, which contained two million.

"Huh?"

"What? What are you doing, Shikai?" Tsunade said hastily.

"Don't worry, Aunt Tsunade, I can afford it." He said with a smile.

"Thank you for your generosity. We'll take our leave then..." the bounty hunters said as they left.

"But-"

"Tsunade-san. It's nothing, it's just the fruit of my hard work. Spending this small amount on you is the least I can do. For everything you've done and represented for me."

Tsunade looked at Shikai for a while, her face bearing a slight smile. Dan's face superimposed itself over Tsunade's.

"I-I..."

She turned around hastily, without saying a word, tears threatening to fall from her eyes.
