Chapter 53 - Who is Most Like God? (Extra Chapter)

It was a giant hand, radiant with golden light and imbued with divine brilliance. Emerging from Roy's right shoulder, it resembled both a dragon's claw and a god's finger, brimming with unfathomable mystery and miracles. Just witnessing the hand sent chills down Marquis Voban's spine, quickened his pulse, and filled him with an unnerving dread.

This third hand spread its five fingers, stretching as if testing its strength. The space around it rippled, distorted, and seemed to dissolve into an illusory river. It was as if this hand existed outside the material world, in dimensions far beyond human comprehension.

"In Christianity, God is singular, and all miracles belong to Him alone. The 'right' symbolizes 'equality' within Christianity. The Son of God heals with His right hand; believers baptize with their right hand. All the miracles of Christianity are contained within this hand.

"Though, to be honest, I don't fully understand it myself," Roy continued with a faint smile. "Marquis, you may simply consider this the 'Hand of God.'"

He raised his right arm, and the third hand mirrored his movement. As the golden giant hand waved, an incomprehensible force suffused it, making Marquis Voban feel as though he were gazing at something beyond his reality.

"Boy, are you seriously claiming that this is the Right Hand of God?!" Vauban roared, his disbelief mixed with a tinge of unease. "That's impossible!! A being as omnipotent as God cannot manifest as a Heretic God. The paradoxical nature of such existence would destabilize the very world! This is fundamental knowledge for anyone who understands the God Slayers and the Heretic Gods!"

"Furthermore," Voban continued, his voice rising with frustration, "the god you slew was Michael! How could he possibly grant you such a 'Hand of Miracles'?"

Voban's voice, carried through his dragon form, was a mixture of outrage and an undercurrent of fear—a hint of doubt slipping past the wall of his confidence.

"If you insist on answers, Marquis," Roy replied coolly, "then I'll give you one, though I doubt it's the answer you want."

"Michael is often called 'One Who Is Like God,' standing at God's right hand. In the Bible, some of the titles ascribed to Michael are unusual for an angel—titles that belong exclusively to the Son of God. Scholars have debated this, some suggesting that Michael may actually be the 'Son of God.'

"Only such a connection can explain why Michael bears the honorifics of the Son in scripture, and only in this way does it avoid the charge of blasphemy."

Roy's tone was measured and unhurried. He stood still, watching as Marquis Vauban, once composed, began to grow visibly agitated.

This wasn't arrogance or overconfidence. It was the calm assurance of someone who knew the truth. With the summoning of the Holy Right, Voban's defeat had already been sealed.

"Have you ever read the Dead Sea Scrolls, Marquis? In them, it is recorded that Michael, the Son of Light, led the angelic armies as the Deputy of Heaven and the Lord of Light against Belial, the Son of Darkness.

"The two forces clashed for six days and nights, with three victories apiece. On the seventh day, the Lord Himself intervened, wielding the 'Light of the Right Hand,' and won the battle with ease.

"Thus, I name this final authority the 'Light of the Right Hand,' the supreme power of Yahweh—the King of Kings and Lord of Hosts!"

The third hand on Roy's right shoulder raised its golden index finger, pointing directly at Marquis Vauban's black dragon form. Roy spoke his final judgment:

"...As unbelievable as it may seem, accept your defeat, Marquis! In the presence of this 'Right Hand,' all your struggles are meaningless. In the presence of this 'Right Hand,' victory is mine!"

In demonology, it is said that the true master of Solomon's 72 demons is Belial, the Son of Darkness. Mythologically, the 72 demons symbolize the heretical gods subdued by the Lord. These interpretations only reinforce that the so-called 72 demons are but minor branches within the vast narrative of the Bible.

"Do you seriously believe," Voban growled, "that some inexplicable 'right hand' that appeared out of nowhere is enough to declare victory? Foolish boy! Today, I'll show you my final hunt. Feel the cruelty and ecstasy of being prey! A mere authority like that—do you dare claim it encompasses all miracles?!"

"Awooooooooooo!!"

Voban, the oldest Campione, roared with fury. He had slain countless gods and viewed the act as little more than a game. A being as vicious and cunning as a wolf would never be cowed by mere words. Only the final outcome mattered to him, and until the result was in his favor, he wouldn't believe any prophecy or declaration of victory.

The authority stolen from Ereshkigal granted Voban unparalleled immortality. In his rage, he gathered an overwhelming amount of divine power into his black dragon body. That power transformed into a searing inferno of dragon flames, potent enough to incinerate an entire city.

The black dragon opened its jaws, and the apocalyptic flames of death rained down from the heavens.

"...Authority, you say?" Roy muttered to himself as the flames approached. "To be honest, I've always wondered whether this 'Right Hand' even qualifies as an authority at all."

Roy sighed softly, speaking words that no one else could hear.

At the same time, he murmured under his breath:

"Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

"The Book of the Law, Chapter 3, Verse 72: I am the 'Lord of the Powerful Dual Arms,' but my left hand is empty, for my right hand has shattered the universe, leaving nothing behind!"

Taking a deep breath, Roy lifted his gaze to meet the infernal flames of the underworld hurtling toward him—flames so devastating that they threatened to obliterate him entirely, leaving not even a trace of his cells. Yet, he stood tall, unwavering, his posture resolute.

In that moment, he mirrored the essence of the Archangel Michael himself—standing undaunted against the endless legions of fallen angels, against the Antichrist's "Beast," and against the great red dragon, Satan, from the depths of Hell. Even with all the "evil" of existence staring him down, Roy refused to falter, facing it with courage and fearlessness.

"Beast777, I will surpass the evils of mankind!"

The golden 'third hand' began to rise, its movements slow and deliberate. Its fingers curled slightly, forming a phantom grip, as though it sought to grasp the entirety of the universe within its divine palm.

Then, Roy spoke the words most famously associated with the Archangel Michael, a phrase imbued with divine authority and power—

"I ask you, WHO IS MOST LIKE GOD?!"

A radiance erupted from the golden giant hand—a light so brilliant it seemed to encompass and illuminate the entire world.

This was "The Light of the Right Hand."

Just one swing could annihilate the enemy, rendering strength irrelevant.

Just one swing would hit the target, making speed unnecessary.

Just one swing would cross all barriers, eliminating the need to measure distance.

Just one swing would claim all victories, negating the need for wisdom.

This was "The Holy Right"—a power that transcended all limitations of strength, speed, distance, intellect, tactics, formations, endurance, circumstances, or alliances.

With a mere wave of this hand, victory was absolute.
