Chapter 6 - Bulma's Advice

A compressed ball of energy shot out of Yamcha's palm. The Kamehameha rushed towards Tien in an unstoppable way.

The energy of this attack was higher than Yamcha's own Ki, due to Ki compression. Tien prepared for the impact, and dug his feet into the ground.

'I am going to catch the Kamehameha!'

Increasing his muscles with body manipulation, Tien bulked up. Looking like a bald version of the legendary Super Saiyan Broly.

With his arms extended forward, he waited for the right moment and caught the speeding Kamehameha with both hands.

"Seriously?!"

Yamcha shouted in disbelief. He added more energy into the attack, increasing it's force and putting heavy pressure on Tien.

Tien was being pushed back, but before he could be overpowered, he bent down, and forcefully tilted the attack upwards.

By the time Yamcha realized what happened, the Kamehameha had gone out of his control, and shot towards the sky.

"No!"

Watching his attack disappear into the horizon, Yamcha yelled with sadness, but he quickly regained his senses and jumped back.

Cautiously observing Tien, Yamcha kept his guard up. Tien himself didn't seem to be in a hurry; he casually stretched his shrinking muscles.

"That was a good warm-up, Yamcha."

Tien's body returned to it's normal size.

"I can sense Bulma is coming out of her lab; she should be done with her experiment."

"We should end this fight."

Tien started walking towards Yamcha, without defending himself; he was completely open to be attacked.

This action confused Yamcha, but he took this opportunity and rushed forward, punching Tien in the jaw.

As soon as his punch connected, Yamcha's eyes shook. His punch hadn't hit Tien, but had instead passed through his body.

"The afterimage technique."

Yamcha gritted his teeth and looked around. He had attacked Tien's afterimage, his real body has to be somewhere else.

He was focused on Tien's energy, and when a presence appeared behind him, he kicked backwards instantly.

"You gotta be kidding me, how fast is he?"

Muttering nervously Yamcha looked around again; his kick also couldn't hit anything; he was too slow to land an attack on Tien.

Tien knew that as well, he chuckled and stopped hiding himself. He reappeared before Yamcha, looking casual with his arms folded.

"I got you!"

Suddenly Yamcha launched a surprise attack, unleashing a barrage of punches and kicks.

Tien sidestepped each one of them; the sudden punches and kicks didn't touch him even once.

"Give up, Yamcha; I am stronger than you."

Tien casually dodged.

"Think about it like this: if Puar has a strength of 10, you are at a 150."

"While I am at a 200. I have 50 points more fighting strength than you."

"Without another Kamehameha, you have no chance of winning against me."

Stepping forward Tien clenched his fist, then he rammed his fist into Yamcha's stomach, like a speeding car.

Yamcha stopped attacking as his eyes bulged, and he collapsed onto his knees, bent down like a prawn.

The punch had knocked the wind out of him. He struggled for a few seconds, then lay on the ground, utterly defeated.

"There is such a big gap between us?"

Yamcha asked with glassy eyes.

"Tell me about it, you lost so horribly, Yamcha."

A female voice complained from behind; hearing this voice made Yamcha's face worse; he didn't say anything and pretended to be unconscious.

This newcomer was Bulma. She arrived at the end of the fight and saw Yamcha get one-shot. Ignoring him, she turned the other way.

"Hey Tien, what brings you here?"

Bulma happily greeted Tien.

"Sorry to bother you Bulma; I wanted your help with something."

Tien smiled at her apologetically, and Bulma tilted her head with curiosity.

"What is it?"

Making a serious face, Tien explained.

"I am planning to build a kingdom, but I don't know where to start."

"I want some information, something that teaches me what I am supposed to do."

His description was brief, but it left Bulma speechless. She held her forehead for a while, thinking about this absurd request.

After collecting her thoughts, Bulma tried to tell Tien why his idea wouldn't work.

"Even if I give you the information, it's of no use to you. You can't be a king without a kingdom."

"And you can't build a kingdom without land; there is no available land on Earth."

"Earth has a king, King Furry. He rules the whole planet and is king of everything."

Bulma briefly described Earth's political structure. King Furry owns the entire landmass on earth.

Tien can't build a kingdom, if there is no land for him to build it upon.

"No, King Furry doesn't own everything."

Tien disagreed.

"There's a subcontinent on earth outside of his rule."

"I am going to build my kingdom there, on the abandoned lands."

Tien pointed towards the northwest direction; Bulma frowned for a few seconds before her eyes widened.

"You are talking about the end of the earth? That's a dangerous place. Can you build a kingdom there?"

That landmass was empty, but it wasn't habitable. People generally avoided that subcontinent. Travelers called that place the 'End of the Earth'.

Tien was planning to build a kingdom there? That's a really difficult task; can he actually do it?

"I will manage somehow."

Tien confidently assured her. Bulma just raised her hands in resignation; her friend was so stubborn.

"Okay, fine, if you insist, I will give you the information."

Pulling out a capsule, she popped it open. The capsule became a phone, which she transferred a bunch of data into.

After the data transfer was complete, Bulma turned it back into its capsule state and showed it to Tien.

"This has all the information about building a kingdom."

Handing it to Tien, Bulma continued.

"I got it from my dad's digital library, so it should be up to date."

"If you are going to do this, you should first find an advisor who's experienced with ruling."

"They will help you manage your new kingdom."

Bulma seriously gave Tien her thoughts and Tien nodded, agreeing to her suggestion; he trusted her genius-level IQ.

Listening to Bulma's advice was always a good thing, especially when it came to technical or theoretical stuff.

"Thanks Bulma, you are a lifesaver."

Tien held the capsule tightly and thanked Bulma with a smile on his face. With this information, he can start building the Triclops empire.

He then spent some time reminiscing with Bulma about old times, then said goodbye and left Capsule Corporation.

As Tien was flying through the skies, thinking about his next destination, he sensed a ki signature approaching him.

Stopping in his tracks, he looked down and saw Yamcha running on the ground like a train, chasing after him.

"What does he want?"
