The apartment was finally quiet. Half an hour after the party, Bianca stretched out on the couch, her body sinking into the soft cushions. She was still wearing her emerald-green cocktail dress from the night, though her heels were tossed somewhere near the door. She watched as Ken moved around the room, tidying up the scattered glasses and napkins left behind by the guests.
Ken, dressed in dark jeans and a fitted white shirt that clung to his toned frame, turned to look at her with a small smile. His sleeves were rolled up, and his hair was slightly disheveled from the busy evening.
"You're the best boyfriend ever, Ken Schuyler," Bianca said with a wide grin, propping herself up on her elbow.
Ken chuckled as he gathered an armful of glasses. "You know I'd do anything for you. This party was for the sake of your career and us. Besides, cleaning up after your boys all the time has prepared me for just about anything."
