Bianca's hands covered Ken's eyes as she carefully guided him down the familiar hallway. Her heart raced with excitement as they approached the robotics lab. Everything was exactly as she remembered from their last time here together – the faint hum of machinery, the clean scent of metal and electronics, the cool air that seemed unique to this space.
"Ta-da!" She removed her hands with a flourish. "Welcome to your new division!"
"The robotics lab?" Ken's face lit up with a boyish grin that made her heart skip.
"It's perfect, right? This is where it all started for you...and us." Bianca watched his expression soften at the memory.
"It started for us long before we came here."
