Chereads / Pokemon: Reborn With A Villain System!! / Chapter 17 - Ultra-Ancient Dragonite

Chapter 17 - Ultra-Ancient Dragonite

Zephyr, who was standing on the shore, stared fixedly at the distant sea.

The sky was dark, and the wind was strong.

[Ding, danger warning, 800 meters away, there is an ultra-ancient Dragonite:]

Dragon/Flying-type Pokémon: Dragonite has a stable temperament and a kind heart. It often rescues people or Pokémon who are drowning in the sea and guides lost ships to shore. However, if its reverse scale is touched, it will destroy everything. Dragonite is very rare in the wild.

...

"This mysterious Pokémon turned out to be an ultra-ancient Dragonite?"

In his previous life's anime, this place left a lot to the imagination because it only showed a black shadow, but those familiar with it could recognize it as Dragonite's outline.

But this was all just speculation!

Zephyr, having been reborn, wanted to find out what kind of Pokémon this was.

After all, he had a system that displayed all Pokémon around him, and none could escape detection.

But this time, the system showed question marks for the comprehension skills and combat power of this ultra-ancient Dragonite.

What did this mean?

Is this Dragonite too powerful? He had met the Pokémon thief, Team Rocket's James, in Viridian City, and when he saw his three Pokémon, he could read their skills and combat power.

But in front of this ultra-ancient Dragonite, it couldn't be displayed.

[Ding, system reminder: There are powerful Pokémon in this area. Please evacuate immediately.]

[At this stage, the host does not have the ability to fight this Pokémon... Don't take chances, you have no chance at all.]

The system's warning made Zephyr feel a little desperate.

Is this Pokémon really that strong?

It made sense though. Zephyr was more determined now to control powerful Pokémon. His current three Pokémon all had special abilities, evolving quickly and getting stronger.

What he needed was time. As long as there was enough time, Zephyr could dominate this world!

But just then, the Shiny-Kakuna, which had been staying aside, made a movement.

It was extremely panicked after hearing the cry of the ultra-ancient Dragonite, but the sense of danger made it strange. Bright lights began to appear on its body, and the shell cracked.

It was evolving!

[Ding, Shiny-Kakuna has started to evolve.]

[Shiny-Kakuna successfully evolved into Shiny-Beedrill.]

...

Name: Shiny-Beedrill

Poison/Bug-type Pokémon: Beedrill can fly at high speeds, using the poisonous stingers on both its hands and tail to stab opponents. The tail stinger is the most poisonous, and it's territorial, easily attacking humans. Caution is needed when handling them.

Moveset: Agility, Hyper Beam, Pin Missile, Poison Sting, Fury Attack, Double Team

Special Ability: Bloodlust.

Combat power: 700 points.

...

After evolving, Beedrill's combat power jumped to 700, which surprised Zephyr. It also learned new skills, which was an unexpected bonus.

However, with the ultra-ancient Dragonite nearby, Zephyr didn't want to cause trouble.

Once Beedrill's evolution was complete, Zephyr quickly returned it to its Poké Ball and rushed into the bushes behind the beach, away from the danger.

Although Dragonite had a kind heart, encountering such a powerful Pokémon meant Zephyr's life would be in its hands.

He had no power to protect himself.

It was best to follow the system's advice and sneak away.

...

The wilderness at night was eerie.

From time to time, there were strange noises in the forest. Fortunately, Zephyr had Beedrill, who was large enough for Zephyr to grab its horns and be carried away.

After flying for a while, Zephyr saw a spot in the forest where lights were flashing, so he told Beedrill to approach.

As soon as it landed, Zephyr saw a simple log cabin in the forest.

Zephyr walked over quietly and found a beautiful girl sleeping inside. He froze, stunned.

The girl inside didn't notice the movement outside.

But strangely, as Zephyr got closer, some weak Pokémon like Nidoran and Oddish surrounded them, calling out.

Suddenly, the girl woke up, looked out the window, and screamed.

"It's a misunderstanding, this is really a misunderstanding!"

Zephyr was desperate and said repeatedly.

The girl opened the door, pointed at Zephyr, and said, "You don't look like a good person. Are you here to steal my Pokémon?"

As she spoke, the weak Pokémon gathered around her, protecting her.

Zephyr recognized her immediately. She was the kind-hearted girl from Pallet Town, the one who cared for injured Pokémon!

Back when Ash's Bulbasaur was taken from here, this girl had helped heal it. She lived in the forest, helping Pokémon, so when Zephyr appeared, the Pokémon gathered around to protect her.

"I just came here by accident." Zephyr smiled awkwardly.

"Hey, what are you sneaking around for?" the girl asked.

"No, I just got lost in the forest but then I saw a light from far away and followed that light." Zephyr explained quickly.

Just then, a violent explosion rang out from the distance.

At the same time, many weak Pokémon from that direction ran toward the cabin, followed by a massive Arbok.

But when it got closer, Zephyr sensed something was off about this Arbok.
