Ara felt like she was about to throw up as she walked out of the building alongside her supposed husband. She was pale, terrified, and couldn't believe what was happening.
This man and she were married! There were copies of their documents, signatures in the city office, which sounded absurd!
This was the first time this fearless, crazy girl got goosebumps. She could not explain it in any way.
Was someone playing a prank? If her father finds out that she secretly married someone he doesn't know.... she will be dead. No doubt she will die at his hands.
- Instead of spinning drama, you'd better admit that it was your doing. Somehow, you made up our wedding. I remember very well how you shouted on the beach that you would never let me out of your hands again.
The redhead raked him with her eyes, being outraged by his assumptions.
- You were knocked out! Where would I supposedly get your documents, you idiot!
He crossed his arms over his chest and raised his face to the sky, in his mind cursing her in the cruelest way.
- So you think it's magic? We're not recording a drama, you're not pushing a fairy tale on me. I'm not.
- That's precisely how you behave, so shut the fuck up before you completely lead me unbalanced, and I knock you down! - she hollered at him, drawing the attention of passersby with her behavior.
- That woman in the city office must be working with you, hence the whole circus. There is no other rational explanation for this.
Ara snorted under her breath.
- Keep telling yourself that.... I, too, can accuse you of this! I, too, don't know what's going on and can't explain it. Furthermore, I was as surprised as you were when I got the call from City Hall to pick up this document! - Holding the marriage certificate in her hand, she tightened her fingers on it, inside all boiling with anger.
- I don't know what's going on and what you're planning, but since it's only a month before we can file for divorce, stay away from me for that time," he warned her, threatening her with his finger.
- I still have to agree to this divorce.... - she said in a fit of anger, with which she led him unbalanced.
Jin grabbed her hand too tightly, causing her pain.
- Don't plan anything better.... You've already ruined my life, even though I don't know you at all. All I know about you is that you have something wrong with your head.
He let her go and headed toward a white sports Audi. She stood still and watched him as he got behind the wheel and gave her a stern look one last time before he hit the road.
- I don't know what's going on either.... - She pushed her hair back and sighed heavily. - How am I going to tell my parents about this? They will kill me," she muttered under her breath, looking at the marriage certificate with horror in her eyes.

Solbin was still trying to analyze how her friend could register a wedding in an inebriated state, even more so while staying in another country. This is illogical and cannot be explained in any way.- Something is wrong," she whispered, not realizing that the hairdresser looked at her with panic in her eyes, fearing that these words referred to the dye she had put on her hair. - The color is beautiful," she confirmed quickly, which clearly reassured the woman.
She got up from her chair to pay for the services. She took one last look in the mirror, satisfied with the natural look that the medium brown provided. She felt definitely better than the bleached hair she had had throughout her studies.
The girl walked out of the building and looked with compassion in her eyes at her best friend, who was waiting for her, leaning with her back against a red Infinity. Her parents were so stuffed that they allowed her the most expensive pleasures.
How many cars she had crashed since she got her driver's license.... it's wonderful that they let her drive such a luxurious car.
- I feel like dying," she said grimly as she handed Solbin the marriage certificate. - Tell me this is some kind of fucking joke. It turned my stomach when that asshole showed up at City Hall, judging me for conspiracy. He thinks I tricked him into this wedding. How can I explain to him that I had nothing to do with it and, like him, I'm lost?
The gray-haired woman pouted her lips and shrugged her shoulders.
- You have the right to judge each other, since you both don't know the truth. I thought magic existed only in books and movies, but apparently in real life too, since you guys are a real example of it.
- Don't hit me, Sol.
Ara pressed her lips together, looking as if she were about to cry. This is an unusual sight because this girl is a walking force. She's a lightweight who doesn't care about anything.
- Are you afraid of your parents' reaction?
- My father is going to kill me, and I can't hide it from him because, eventually, he will find out, and I will have, an even worse fuck-up.
This situation seemed frightening to both girls, but Ara's words sounded so funny that Solbin struggled to suppress her laughter.
- You are his beloved daughter, he pampers you like a princess, so he will shout a little and forgive you.
The redhead shook her head.
- I am his beloved daughter as I pretend to be a model daughter in front of him. Until now, he hasn't heard about my antics, I've managed to mask it, but this time I'm in the black. I'm screwed, Sol.
The gray-haired woman put her arm around her shoulders.
- My problem with finding a job is nothing compared to your problem. I don't know how I would react if I found out I was getting married to a strange guy. Terrible, especially since I panicked, thinking I had slept with a stranger in Thailand.
The friend's humor improved considerably for a while.
- And are you sure you didn't sleep with him? - Solbin looked at her with panic in her eyes. - Did you remember something?
- What are you talking about? I'm sure nothing happened.
Ara put her hand to her mouth and snorted with laughter.
- Apparently you told yourself that.... - The girl furrowed her eyebrows. - You know that I love to tease you because you are so lovable.
- Don't talk back to me. - The gray-haired girl moved away from her still amused friend and raked her with her eyes. - I hope the situation with your father will kick your ass. You deserve it for that.
She crossed her arms over her chest and walked away toward the bus stop, not intending to drive home in her friend's car.
The redhead knew she would be over it by tomorrow. She always did. She was only angry with her for a while, and that was normal because they loved to tease each other.
Now she had another matter on her mind. She didn't know if she would live to see tomorrow.
*- You overdid it this time, Ara. - The girl got off the bus, heading toward the house, which was located across the street. She may have told herself that nothing had happened between her and Jungkook, but Ara had burned her hopes.
- Sometimes I'm such an idiot.... - she muttered under her breath.
The phone in her purse began to ring, at first, she thought it was Ara intending to beg her forgiveness, but was surprised to see an unknown number.
- Hello?
- Good morning. I'm calling from the "Jeobag" company. We would like to invite you for an interview, are you still interested in our offer?
Her heart beat harder with happiness. She didn't think anyone would finally get back to her. She had already begun to lose the remnants of hope that some company would invite her, if only for an interview.
- Yes, I am interested.
- In that case, we invite you tomorrow at sixteen o'clock. The interviews will be held at our company, in the conference room.
- Thank you. Goodbye.
Nothing better could have happened to her today. She jumped up in her seat with joy, although she had been invited to an interview for now, although that was already a plus.
Sitting in a dark blue Jeep, the young man smiled at the sight of Solbin. He looked at her resume, then at her again as she walked up the stairs to the gray, dilapidated building.
- So this is where you live... - The address matched the one on the resume. - I didn't think I'd find you so soon, Solbin said.
He rested his cheek on his hand and looked with happy eyes at the door, behind which she had disappeared moments earlier.
It was only one night, and he could not forget her.... Something sparked between them, their sex was wonderful, so why did she disappear without a trace in the morning?
Did what happened between them embarrass her?
It's been a long time since he felt this way with any woman, after he parted ways with his first love. She had a part of his ex in her, which is why he wanted her so much....
He looked at the phone's display, then took a call from his best friend.
- What's up?
- My life has turned into a nightmare! Can you believe that the phone call from that babe from the City Hall is not a mistake and I actually received the marriage certificate! Me and that crazy woman from the island are married, and I won't believe that she didn't have her fingers in it! Because how? How could she! Explain it to me, Jungkook! It was just supposed to be a fun, untrue wedding!
The brunet scratched his head.
- The conclusion is one... you can't drink alcohol.
- Are you kidding me?
Jungkook started the car and drove out into the street, heading for his company.
- I don't know how you did it and by what miracle there are copies of your documents and signature at the City Hall, but surely, there is some rational explanation for it. Have you watched "Hangover Vegas" at least once in your life? Crazy parties usually have a tragic ending, if only for one person.
- You are talking senseless. I hang up.
The young man laughed when his friend ended their conversation.
- Maybe this is a sign for you to finally settle down.... - he muttered under his breath as he stopped at a traffic light. He dropped his cell phone on the seat beside him, and his gaze once again found Solbin's resume. His eyes lit up as he looked at her photo. - I think the time has come for me to find the one too....
