Chapter 24 - Chapter 24: Testimonies

Ezra and the team finally reached the large gate to Aizen college and Ezra felt the same excitement as the first time he crossed the giant gate.

"Is it wonderful?" Alba said.

"Wonderful is an understatement." Ezra said.

"I remember the first time I crossed this gate. True I was blindfolded, but I could still feel its magnificence. Now that I get to see it with my own eyes, it's truly beautiful." Alba said with a tear rolling down her cheek.

"Ahoy. We are crossing the gate right now." the captain said as they neared the giant gates of Aizen college.

Although just before they reached the gates, they were told to stop for a search. Three guards in red uniforms approached the ship with guns in hand. Captain Holst exited the ship and stood on the platform they were using to get closer to the ship.

"Captain Holst. Greetings." said one of the guards, a tall man with an athletic build.

"Kind sirs, how are you all doing this early morning." said the captain.

"We see that you have some students with you, am I right?" said another guard, a shorter man with a stocky build.

"Yes, you'd be right. There is no other reason I would come here, but in my possession are three royals and one noble." said the captain.

"When did you become a part of the royal fleet?" asked the short guard trying to hold back a laugh.

"We are going to search the ship for while please be patient." the tall guard said.

"Be my guest." captain Holst said.

The three guards boarded the ship and the moment they got on, they found Tina Arkwright, Koko Jelani, and Delilah Mochizuki all in one place. They turned and saw Ezra standing with Alba Tuskery.

The guards immediately dropped their search and left the ship.

"Huh, you're done already?" captain Holst asked with an annoyed expression on his face.

"It seems like your ship is clear, captain." replied the tall guard as he tipped his hat.

"You're free to go you scumbag." said the short guard.

"Thanks a lot, kind sirs. I'll be sure to sure to put in a good word for you boys." the captain said.

The large gate opened and the Helmington proceeded into the school's waters.

"Can't believe we almost got fired there." the tall guard said wiping sweat from his forehead.

"Royals are rather scary." said the short guard.

The Helmington finally reached the harbor of Aizen island and the group exited the ship leaving captain Holst and his crew alone at the port.

"Hey, old man. Could you wait here for a while?" Ezra asked.

"Yeah. Why?" the captain asked.

"Just incase." Ezra said with a smile on his.

He knew that the college was very secure but he saw a huge flaw that could be problematic most especially if there enemy knew about it.

"It's alright kid. Besides we don't really have anywhere to go right now." the captain said, giving Ezra a thumbs up.

Ezra then followed rest of the group to the college main building, where they found a large man slightly older than them with a serious expression on his face. He was Levi Oragon, leader of group four, Lilah's group.

Next to the man was another smaller muscular man with a wide smile on his face and a demeanor that resembled Nova's. He was Arthur Camelot, leader of group five.

Arthur saw Ezra's group enter the building and sprang onto his feet and quickly approached Ezra.

"You must be Ezra Jameson, I'm Arthur Camelot, a senior." Arthur said with a smile on his face and his hand stretched out for a handshake.

Ezra looked at his face, then the hand and completed the handshake.

"Nice to meet you." he said shaking Arthur's hand. "What are the leaders of group five and group four doing at the academy?" he asked, keeping his eyes on Levi who just ignored him.

"For the same reason as you. We also had traitors in our groups and we came to report from our sides." Arthur answered, his voice kind and welcoming.

"I see more people have joined us." said another man, but this one was tall, dark-skinned with an athletic build. He was Ayman, leader of group seven and Koko's eldest brother.

"Ayman, you're here." Koko said with a smile on his face.

"You miss me little bro." Ayman said as he walked over to Arthur and Ezra.

"Noe is here as well." he said as he held Arthur's shoulder. He then turned to Levi and waved to him. "Oh hey there, Levi. Still as grumpy as always."

Levi stood up and walked over to the group that had formed near the entrance.

"So that dolphin is here as well. Where is she?" Levi asked.

"Looks like someone missed me." a light-skinned woman long curly black hair said walking up to the group with mother Pinky and father Khan.

"There you are." Levi said with an annoyed look on his face.

"Father Khan, we have a problem." Ezra yelled.

"We all do. Come, there is much to discuss." father Khan said as he led the group to a large hall with a large table in the middle and chairs along the side. The table had a large gap in the middle where people would make their announcements.

Seated around the table were all the fathers and mothers of Aizen college. The students were then instructed to sit in the chairs along the sides as mother Pinky and father Khan took their seats.

"Welcome new students. I know for many of you this is the first time you've entered this room, but this room is a room that we open when we have to make a choice that is outside the government jurisdiction." mother Pinky said.

"We already heard from Noe and she has provided us with some good information." mother Anastasia said. "Father Bethel, could you take us through?"

A large man with a thick beard stood up, a book open in his hands.

"Noe Jerusa has informed us that during her expedition in the Eastern continent, she was ambushed by her own teammates during the full moon that just passed. Three of her group members died, Alfred, Bartholomew and her were the only ones that survived. There were five traitors in her group and she killed one. After that, the northern and southern ports of the Eastern empire were destroyed."

"Reina Mochizuki helped them escape to the south, where they met Ayman's group that had also been reduced in size as well hence coming over to the island."

Ezra was in shock.

Just how many traitors were there.

He was deep in thought when they asked him to approach the center of the table.

He gulped and looked at all the growth parents.

"You may give us your experience, Ezra." mother Graves said.

Ezra told them everything that had occurred to them including Nova's betrayal and destruction of a small village then Lilah's attack though he didn't tell them about Levi's involvement with Lilah simply because he couldn't prove where Lilah was in her right mind or not and finally told them about the destruction of Christville, William's and all the major port of the western empire. Father Bethel noted down each and everything he said meticulously so as not to miss a single thing.

Ayman was then called and he gave his testimony that was short but very insightful since the only people that weren't traitors in his group were him, Liam and Romeo. He killed five of the traitors and they gave him there goal that was to stop anyone who was trying to open Eden up. Although the other two traitors ran away. Those were Chloe and Asher Beverley.

Arthur and Levi also gave their views and Levi explained why Lilah was at Christville stating that she got into a fits, killed most of his team and escaped to the ocean. He found no reason in chasing after her.

While Arthur, on the other hand, was betrayed by Creo who took Nimrod away and covered his tracks. He never found any evidence of them since.

Alba was then called and she gave her testimony of what had happened to them to her team when Eki betrayed them. Koko and Delilah were also called and they gave their testimonies. After three hours, everyone had completed giving their testimonies and they were told to take their seats.

After another two hours of discussions, the verdict was passed and it was concluded that the attacks were obviously planned since they all took place around the same time. Despite this, they made a conclusion that shocked everyone.

Operation Ten of Tens was to remain active.
