Long Chen smiled.
"We are enemies."
Chu Xuan said.
"We aren't enemies, we just stand in different camps. As for you, you and I have no personal grievances; you're just helping that old fart kill people. So, it doesn't affect our ability to have a chat before the big battle, does it?"
Long Chen's smile warmed.
"Let's talk after we fight."
Chu Xuan didn't waste words and drew her sword to strike.
"So violent for an old lady?"
Long Chen met her attack, parrying Chu Xuan's incoming sword with his own.
"Who are you calling an old lady?"
Chu Xuan was furious.
"I'm talking about you. Since you're that old geezer's woman, you must be quite old too. If you're not an old lady, are you still a young girl?"
Long Chen taunted.
"You're courting death."
Chu Xuan seethed, unable to contain her rage, her attacks becoming increasingly ferocious.
