Kairos was in his alloted room, while both mother and daughter were chatting "peacefully". They were chatting so quietly, that even chandeliers were moving. Kairos sighed, he never wanted to have two Yanderes on his neck but here he is, two are fighting for him here and another two are counting days at Arcadia.
Well whatever it isn't his fault, that he is good looking.
For the first time, after he came here, Mrs. Codex said something and it was too a poisonous one. He as usual, ignored these titles, instead he stood up from his bed and went towards window. After arriving at window, he summoned his vampire wings as he has set this form as his default... for now.
He flew for quite sometime, after the he came across a forest region where no one generally comes. After arriving here, he warned up a little, then summoned his sword Enigma, and finally did what he came here for.
" 1: Calamity Summoning: Floor 1"
Yes, you guessed wrong. He came here to fight another calamity as during the period he has faught many low level beasts even mastered [Energy Manipulation] and [Kinetic Resonance]. In previous fight, he relied only on his body, but in this one he would try to master [Kinetic Resonance] perfectly. From what, he could extract from that tight mouthed ring, he has a theory that All Floor 1 Calamities rely on their bodies to fight, as they have no energy for spells and all.
As he said, those words a monkey type figure started manifesting, it was green haired monkey king with a staff, in his left hand. [Bikou] is the name floating above his head. Kairos seeing him, realised this won't be an easy fight as this opponent is quite versed with speed.
Kairos decided to have some fun, so he taunted the monkey slightly. The monkey although couldn't understand much, became furious at this display, without wasting time it held its staff and rushed towards Kairos. Kairos couldn't react at his speed, and felt a pain in his left ribs. The monkey has targeted quite a sore place. The monkey has disappeared after hitting him.
Kairos feeling that pain, became on full alert of his surroundings, he knew mischievousness is a characteristic of monkey, even if they are calamities. After some time, Kairos felt something comeing towards his right ribs. He quickly activated [Kinetic Resonance] and slowed its momentum. Kairos then simply dodged it.
After that, it was a series of these attacks from all possible angles, which he first slowed down their momentum then dodged it, from Codex he knew these attacks are called [Monkey's Mockery].
After seeing none of its attacks working, the monkey appeared infront of Kairos with a furious face. He felt humiliated, this bipedal beast is underestimating him, throughout whole floor 1, his name Bikou resounds.
As Monkey charges forward, his staff at the ready, Kairos stands firm, his eyes fixed on the powerful opponent. [Monkey's Staff Slam] stance is a formidable one, and Kairos knows that he needs to be careful if he wants to avoid taking a devastating blow.
As Monkey slams his staff into the ground, Kairos can feel the shockwaves emanating from the impact. He knows that he needs to act quickly to counter the attack, and so he focuses his energy and activates his [Kinetic Resonance] ability.
A subtle hum fills the air as Kairos's ability takes effect, and Monkey's momentum begins to falter. His staff, which had been building up speed and power, suddenly slows down, its trajectory altered by the resonance.
Monkey lets out a loud "Hrrng!" of frustration as his attack is disrupted once again. He's had enough of Kairos's meddling, and he's starting to get angry. His face twists in a scowl, and he takes a step back, his staff at the ready.
"Kkkkk..." Monkey growls, his voice low and menacing. He's not surprised by Kairos's ability anymore, but he's getting increasingly frustrated. He's a powerful opponent, and he's not used to being countered so easily.
Kairos stands firm, his eyes fixed on Monkey. He knows that he's got the upper hand, and he's not going to let Monkey get the better of him. He's ready for whatever Monkey throws at him next, and he's confident that he can take him down.
The air is tense with anticipation as the two opponents face off. Monkey's anger and frustration are palpable, and Kairos can feel the weight of his gaze. But Kairos is not intimidated. He's ready for this fight, and he's going to come out on top.
