After getting everything ready and sorting them in his [Storage], Kairos was about to start his journey. He decided to fly directly from the castle, having already obtained permission from King Arcadia.
As Kairos prepared to summon his wings, he checked his surroundings, searching for something... or someone. After looking around, Kairos finally spotted the two girls staring at him from two different windows. They looked sad this time. Kairos knew he was the reason for their sadness, but he couldn't do anything about it.
He couldn't be more of a bastard if he left his first family and started creating a second one without telling them. Queen Valentine and Aeliana still held the first place in his heart. He wanted to tell them everything, even about his powers. If he ever had more wives in the future, he would tell them all everything. He didn't want to lie to his own family, at least.
Kairos mustered a smile and waved at them. Then, he mouthed 'I will come again' while looking at both of them. Kairos saw tears start falling from their eyes. He knew he had to leave now, or he wouldn't be able to.
Amaya and Anya didn't know why they felt so sad seeing him leave. They knew he would come again, but it was hard for them to see him like this. They didn't want to have any regrets, so they came to see him off. But when they read his lips, they couldn't take it anymore, and tears started falling. Amaya tightly squeezed the pendant he had gifted her, while Anya held a figurine from the 15-animal set, which he had created himself and either forgotten or left for her.
Both of their eyes turned lifeless as they watched him fly away. Next time, they wouldn't allow him to leave them; either he had to live with them or take them with him.
Kairos finally reached the city gates. He took one last look and then took out the map from [Storage], which was specifically created by Anya for him. The map indicated that he had to move straight west, where he would find the Central Continent in the middle.
Kairos knew this would be a one-month journey at the speed he was traveling, so he asked Codex for a solution.
"Okay! So, are there any requirements that need to be fulfilled, or like every fundamental skill, they don't have one?"
"Then install both! I will first master two basic techniques of [Way of Wind], and then during my travel, I will try to evolve my energy manipulation."
After that, Kairos's brain received a vast amount of information about the two elements, including the two basic techniques from each: [Move as Wind], [Wind Blade], and [Move as Lightning], [Lightning Bolt].
