After entering her room, Amaya was properly dressed up by two maids. The party has almost started and only her presence is awaited now. She wore a silverish blue dress with golden markings.
Amaya after being ready, she went downstairs. When she entered the hallroom she could see hundreds of eyes on her. She ignored all of them, and went towards her father King Rudolf Arcadia who was happily talking with Grand General Anya Akiraka.
When she went close, she heard something which piqued her interest.
" So Anya, how is your private life going? Did you find someone worth your liking or not." King Arcadia asked with a smile. He is a well build man, at his late thirties. He has similar blonde hair like her daughter, but unlike her blue eyes, he has black eyes.
" No, My King! I didn't meet someone like that till now." Anya said with a sad and embarrassed expression. She is a beautiful women, with long light blue hair and blue eyes. She has large G-cup breasts, which her tight millitary dress of general greatly enhances.
" Well! well! Don't feel down, you are only 23 now, I am sure you would find someone worth your liking in the future." The king said, encouraging his down general. He knows she is generally cold to everyone, except himself and his daughter. And, he doesn't mind it, he treats her like his own daughter. Her father sacrificed himself to save him from a serious assassination. He could only repay him, by taking care of his daughter. He expected that she would hate him, because due to him her father died. But, for the first time, when he told her what her father did, he could see the grief which she was experiencing, but there was also a hint of admiration. When he asked her about that, she said it is an honour for her father to save his lord. She would also do the same if she was in his place. At that time he vowed himself that he would take care of this girl. But, he wouldn't accept it fulfilled until she could find a worthy partner for herself. Even some neighbouring Empire princes are her pursuers. But she rejected them all. He could only support her decision as a good father (like figure).
" I am also sure you would find someone to your liking soon, big sister Anya." As they heard that voice, then they both finally noticed the birthday girl who was standing near them.
" Hahaha, My princess, sure has grown up, now. You look, same as your mother." The king said with heartfelt smile.
" Indeed, Princess Amaya! you are looking beautiful in this dress." Anya also appreciated her beauty.
" Thank you" Amaya was happy hearing their praise, she knows there praises are genuine.
" Well then, if my daughter is here then why not cut the cake?" King Arcadia said while going towards the centre of the hall followed by her daughter and the grand general, who was working as there guard.
" Today, to make this grand day more memorable, I want to donate ten gold coins each, from the treasury, to all the poor people living in the capital!" The king happily announced. This is how King Arcadia celebrates his daughter's birthday. Unlike other empires, who only treat their strong combatants with honour and respect. He never forgets about those, who are the lowest part of the society. He has a strong belief that the kindness never goes in vain, one day it will return to you in one form or another.
After cake was cut, the main party finally started. Many admirer's of Amaya, came to ask the birthday girl for a dance. But she rejected all of them. The dance continued, without her.
After some time when everything was finally done, a handsome young man at the height of 5'9" with brown hair and brown eyes, walked towards Amaya, then he bent on his knees and proposed Amaya, shocking everyone. The young man was Evan Ironblade. He is the first son of Duke Ironblade. He was famous in the whole continent for his looks, it is said that no men could match his handsomness in the whole continent. Many even say, he is one of the most handsome man, in the whole four human empires.
Many guests thought, the princess would choose him, because he is a good looking man, and some girls admires looks more than strength.
But they were ready, to be disappointed because...
" Sorry, I am not interested in relationships now. Hope you understand!" Amaya calmly replied. She wasn't even fazed by the boy's looks because she has just came after meeting one who was more than anyone she knows.
"What! It's okay if you don't want to marry now Princess Amaya. But, we can start slowly by building our relationship. I can assure you that you wouldn't find anyone more handsome than me through the whole continent. And, I am also one of the greatest young swordsman known." Evan Ironblade hurriedly said. Out of all the possibilities, being rejected wasn't something he expected. He thought if he would propose her while making a good pose, she surely would fall under his charm, but here he was rejected without even giving any chance.
" Well, I really don't want to get in a relationship now. And, as for the part of you being the most handsome. Well, you could ask General Anya, she told me sometimes ago that today while she was helping two guards at the gate, by changing places with them. She met a boy whose beauty was ethereal. And, you could also ask some of our female guests here, who went towards the Ramen Shop near the street for confirmation." Amaya said, while quickly dodging all the responsibilities on other. The most shocked was Anya, because she never talked with Amaya before this party about anything. But, she can't ruin the princess image infront of others.
" What the princess said, is true Mr. Evan. Even you are no match for his beauty." Anya admitted with a expressionless face, but in inside she was really embarrassed saying this. But for her princess, she has to take burn of the fire.
Hearing the princess reply and Grand General's confirmation, he was really shocked, he could somehow accept the rejection, but he couldn't accept that there is someone more handsome than him, in this continent.
He asks the females guests for confirmation...
" Well, it is true Mr. Evan."
" I was really dazed seeing him."
" I went to the Shop for three times only to see him again."
Hearing the same reply, Evan was really angry now. He wanted to see the one about whom all these people are praising about..
" Well then, I commence the end of the party." The king declared.
All the participants were ready to go back until they heard...
