[Aspirant! Welcome to the Nightmare Spell. Prepare for your First Trial…]
"What the hell? " Keter groggily says as he starts to push himself off the marble ground, only getting a glimpse of the church-like place around him as he's slapped back to the ground.
"Watch your language, young man; the Cardinal will be here any time now."The older woman goes back to tending to one of the other children.
Keter winces as he sees the handmark against his cheek. He then gets up and notices something's wrong.' wait, why am I so small?' he looks at himself through the smooth and reflective surface of one of the pillars. 'I'm in the body of a child,' He realizes, startled; he looks around after finally getting rid of the drowsiness. 'Children, lots of them, a maid-like caretaker, a Cardinal coming, I'm in an orphanage one funded by a church. From the looks of it, a church of the Sun God.' He asses then tries to calmly figure out what he needs to do. 'The runes, I need to know what I can do before anything else. Status.'

'Asterion? Oh shit, there is no way I'm his kid, but oh god, so many things make so much more sense now. After all, why would a random orphan be a class 7 citizen, go to the A-1 Acadamy, one of the greatest in the world, or be friends with Morgan of Valor, hell, even have a chance to meet her? Fuck.' Keter starts to take deep breaths to try and calm himself down. 'okay, you know what? I will worry about that after the Nightmare is over with. What do all my attributes do?'
[untainted]
A pure, holy, and untainted soul
[Child of Light]
The Light recognizes you as one of their own
[Mark of Divinity]
You bear a faint scent of divinity, as though someone briefly touched by it once, a long time ago.
[Dreamspawn]
You are born of two worlds, belonging to both but welcomed in neither. Your soul exists on the edge between Nightmare and reality.
[The Heart]
You have inherited the lineage of the Heart God.
'A bunch of nothing then.' As Keter was about to start planning, the orphanage doors opened, revealing a grey-haired old man wearing sets of white robes with an air of majesty around him. As he looked to the caretaker and asked.
"Which one do you believe has candidacy?" He starts to look over the sea of children, but his eyes stop at Keter and say, "Never mind; I know which one it is." He bids Keter over to him and says, "Follow me, child." He then looks over to the caretaker and asks, "What is his name?"
"Azreal, your Lordship," she responds immediately.
As Keter reaches the Cardinal, he grabs Keter's hand and introduces himself: "My name is Jacob Fallitls. I am one of the seven Cardinals, as you could have guessed. The Light has chosen you to be one of its champion children. You have the potential to be a saint. But the Light does not force itself upon the unwilling. So, Azreal, do you wish to be the Saint of the Light?"
Keter's eyes widened in surprise. Okay, calm down first. My name in this Nightmare is Azreal; that's good to know. Second, I'm a descendant of the Heart God. Why do I have an Aspect or a Nightmare relating to the Sun God? Plus, what does being a Saint in tall Well, based on the Aspect description, nothing good. Wait, the description mentioned a fountain; oh fuck, This is the damn reincarnation kind of Saint, isn't it?'
"Huh, Azreal gets to become the Saint. I'm so jelly."A winey, girly voice says, "Hey, why is he hesitating? I would have accepted imminently." A confident voice says. "Be quiet, Jack, like you of all people would ever be able to be a Saint." The previous girl teases. "Hey, what does that mean."
Keter hears all sorts of gossip as his mind is in chaos, trying to find a way to escape his predicament. 'Wait, I didn't get the flash forward thing from what Morgan's told me, and from what I've read, it's always supposed to happen. Then that means there will be no big monster I must defeat, but there still must be a trial.' Keter's eyes widen in horror as despair starts to set in. 'Thet damn fountain, that's my trial.' Keter's hands start to ball up in fear.
