Sina came from a moderately rich family that unfortunately crumbled on his 14th birthday as both his parents lost their lives and his sister who survived with his mother taking most of the force of the crash was in a coma. Thus began 4 long years of hardship at first his uncle took him in mostly hoping to get some of his parents inheritance a move that for a 14 year old pampered brat was inescapable and so after a year he found himself in social service arranged family and his sister fortunately being his uncle favorite got the hospital bills paid on time for 2 years before even that fell on sina as all his part time paycheck was used to cover her life long treatment. By age 18 he got gis freedom learning to be much more adaptable then most he even graduated high school with solid scores nothing grand but solid nonetheless. Knowing the importance of money he got a full time gig in a local factory that his friend Thomas who he met at school worked as a manager not a big surprise as the factory name was ranix chips and Thomas full name was Thomas Ranix he was the 3rd son of its founder and ceo Jim Ranix a local rags to riches type of guy with 5 factories under his name. It wasn't until Sina turned 20 that the world changed well it changed much earlier but only when he was 20 was this first publicly announced. A world known as Silo reached out to the world leaders of earth back when Sina was 18 with a single goal useing earth's inhabitants as cannon fodder tempting them with high level technology and access to mostly low grade super serum. The first 2 years highly dangerous criminals as well as some volunteers among normal prisoners looking for early release were sent over to Silo where the leaders of Silo wanting to tempt earths leaders slowly gave all those prisoners low level citizenship useing the debt they were certain they'd accumulate to force them later on to enter the cracks a terrifying place where a zone with unknown rules would be born one day only to vanish when every rule it has was revealed. Of course it's not only a bad thing as those crakes made Silo into what it is today from materials propelling technology forward by years at a time to super power granting serums. When Sina was 20 and earth announced Silos existence the leaders of earth basically sold earthlings to Silo after promising potential greatness showing superpowers they received from Silo over the years to help rope in as many earthlings as possible after 1 year over 50% of earth's inhabitants moved to Silo only unlike the leaders who received 4 rank citizenship earning 100 thousand star coins without lifting a finger or the first prisoners who got 1st rank citizenship getting 500 star coins a month they were all 0 rank citizens getting 100 star coins a month a amount that didn't even cover rent in a low rank zone in most cities but that's was part of the goal after all the original citizens of Silo were all 5-10 rank citizens having 0-4 invented for the sole purpose of useing earthlings. Truth be told the currency in Silo was called Six not star coins but that was not something the government gave to people as 5 -10 ranks were mostly used in the market where materials of different levels were available for purchase Six was used to buy them but only those with rank fittings the materials could buy it even rich rank 5s could not buy rank 6 materials and star coins well they were used only in 5 cities made for humans who unknowingly worked hard and risked their lives for currency that could only get them the useless shit the Silo people didn't want even 4th rank materials that was the peak of humanity reach was was equal to common flowers in cracks and they sold them for such high prices even when the ones getting them was humans but the humans didn't know they sold flowers for a few star coins and bought the same flower mashed up into liquid form for 1000 times as much not even gaining access to the good stuff. It was only when Sina was 27 that he saved up and bought a 3 star medicine to wake his sister up and by then he almost lost his life over a dozen times after all most crakes had death rates in the hundreds before the rule list was finalized and it became a place of wonder and free money and that's for low level crakes the high rank crakes had death rates in the thousands and tens of thousands with the big 5 crakes having over a million deaths and still being unsafe. By age 30 Sina and Mia his sister had a place to call home on Silo in a slum but a home nonetheless but that's also when one of a few humans to reach 5 stars after showing great skills in crakes broke his contract and told all the earthlings the truth he found out about Silo and chaos started for a short period of time before Silo "compensated" humanity with 1 rank up per person and started buying and selling goods in fair prices more or less fair as humans were still deemed more livestock than citizens by the higher ups of Silo. On Sinas 36th birthday he died after finding a 8th rank mineral that could have changed his life for the better as it costs a fortune and was found by chance in a crack but not hiding it well enough from the other greedy humans who entered the crack with him was a mistake one that cost his life. Cursing on his death bed promising to rise above in his next life and begging the gods to help Mia as he couldn't anymore while unknown to him just like us humans like a good story so does the gods above. In fact that was why they made cracks after all it was fun looking at people struggling to find rules they made on a whim but even then most gods only looked at the big 5 cracks where true action was where demigod level Silo people worked hard to gain resources without triggering any rules. but a lone god older than most other gods and much more dissatisfied with life witnessed Sinas death and wanted a better story one that even he couldn't predict its outcome a story that might even create a new god and so on a whim behind every other gods back using his time authority for the first and only time in the lower realm he sent a little human back in time to his 18th birthday giving him a 2nd chance
