Chereads / The Awakening of the Primordials Ones / Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2: First conflicts

Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2: First conflicts

"What's going on here, how does she know she's a fallen angel?" Yoru would turn to look at Hinotama "That means she's an angel...I must admit she's very good at hiding her presence. But all the same, I'll get some information out of her."

-A fallen angel? How do you know it's one? You don't look like an angel.

 -Why do you say that?

"How could I convince him...there's something that makes me uneasy, something in me tells me, this guy knows a lot of things."

-It's just a guess.

-What was your name? -said Hana a little nervous.

-Why would I give my name to a stranger? I would leave the red-haired girl at a loss for words.

"W-what coldness. I met him just yesterday, but at that time he wasn't so imposing, I must find a way to get him to hand over Hinotama. Even if I feel a little afraid."

-Well, could I ask you a favor? -Hana would ask Yoru nervously.

-What do you want? -Yoru would reply while looking frustrated and scratching his head.

-Could you be so kind as to step away for a moment? I need to take him with me, I know it's very sudden, but I don't want to inconvenience him," Hana said while smiling.

"A nuisance? I've never heard anything so ridiculous, maybe I'm misreading the situation," he said while flashing a smirk "Besides what do you intend to do? I'm very curious."

-What to stay away? Relax, you wouldn't cause me any trouble at all..." Surprisingly, with an incredible speed, Yoru would tie Hinotama, leaving him immobilized on the ground while Yoru stepped on him.

-What do you think you're doing, asshole? -said Hinotama very annoyed.

"B-but what just happened?" I swallowed saliva "It was so fast that I didn't manage to follow him with my eyes, plus he didn't give Hinotama time to react either. He's... without a doubt an amazing person, maybe I should tell Hikari to make a pact with him. This would be the best thing to do" while looking impressed.

-I don't like at all that people think I can get in the way... you will be the exception for this one time... you want this guy, don't you? I'll hand him over, only if you tell me why he's a fallen angel, I'm very curious about it. -Said Yoru while looking at Hinotama.

"If I tell him, he'll probably change his mind. Wait a minute..." I would look at the demon "I almost forgot, I have to keep Hinotama from talking at all costs!"

-You're not going to talk? Hey you, what happened? You can talk," I would ask Hinotama.

-Why listen to a demon? -Hana said nervously.

-You're nervous. What secret are you hiding? Spit it out.

"How can you not realize it? Clearly this all has a dark past. If Hinotama was longing for revenge and Hana wants to take him away, I would like to know what really happened. Based on the reaction a few minutes ago, she wasn't that impulsive, that means she's not the one who betrayed him, but someone else, which, most likely an angel Why wouldn't she have come personally?"

"You have no escape Hana, you know very well what she did... How could I forget something so heinous? I offered of my help and they ended up expelling me, it's unforgivable."

-Your friend betrayed me..." said Hinotama.

-Don't listen to him! It is unnecessary to listen to what a demon says! -Hana exclaimed.

-I trust him more, angels usually strive for perfection, but they make a lot of mistakes when they try.

-Are you really going to believe an angel who betrayed us? -said Hana, already worried about the situation.

-Angels are capable of banishing anyone thanks to the slightest mistake. I am not stupid, I know very well how you are," said Yoru with a smile.

"Wait a moment "I know very well how you are", is he a demon?" Hana would start looking from head to toe at the black-haired man "he doesn't look like an angel anywhere... What do I do now, facing this guy gives me a very bad feeling, but I have no other alternative".

-Perhaps you are right, but he is a fallen angel and represents a threat to us, the angels," said Hana, as he began to emit a green glow around himself.

Yoru, upon seeing the green-haired woman wrap herself in a green mantle, would prepare himself for anything that could happen, however... he would not wait for Hana to invoke some vines, which would drag him towards a tree, tying him up and leaving him immobilized, taking advantage of the moment, to be able to flee.

"That will give me some time to escape, I thought he would notice my attack, luckily he didn't" He would take Hinotama running.

-Let me go Hana!

-Don't be ridiculous!

"Damn, my magic still doesn't work What's that guy doing to the ropes?

Out of nowhere, Yoru would appear at Hana's side, leaving her shocked and trembling from the incredible speed he had.

-Hello," said Yoru with a smirk on his face.

"Impossible... how do I manage to break my lianas... those eyes full of anger, I'm dead..."

The black-haired man would give a spinning kick to attack Hana, luckily she would manage to dodge it in time... but, that one... would knock down a tree, leaving the red-haired girl and the demon terrified. Causing her to stumble and fall in fear.

-Plant magic..." said Yoru while snapping his fingers, "so you decided to attack me to take him away. You are very brave to have done that," said Yoru while looking at Hana pale on the ground and speechless.

"What did this guy just do? Never in my life, have I ever seen an attack with so much force that didn't employ magic... I knew demon kings were very strong, but... he just pushed it to the limit!"

-Please don't do anything to me! -Hana cried nervously on the floor.

-Do you think I'll leave things this way? Don't be silly -She would unsheathe a sword and start touching its edge with a macabre look-, calm down, it will be quick -She would start laughing diabolically, filling Hana with fear, making her run away-. That's it... Run away from me! -He would say very enthusiastically.

"How could she have done that, that ability was supposed to prevent her from being released! It was a big mistake to have come, I shouldn't have done it! Run, don't look back!"

Hana was running aimlessly... due to the fear of that moment, but due to the desperation to flee, she would not remember that the forest was riddled with traps, which would make her fall into one of these, leaving her hanging upside down, with no chance of escape.

"No way. Quick, magic to cut this rope" I would quickly summon a vine to cut the rope, however, a knife thrown by Yoru would gnaw it.

-It looks like I finally caught something," said Yoru as he approached clapping his hands.

-Please don't do anything to me, I beg you! -He cried out for mercy.

-Did you think things were going to stay like this? You're wrong! -said Yoru while laughing in a macabre way. -This is just the beginning of your doom Hana.

"...Hikari, I need your help, please..." he would be knocked unconscious from being hit in the neck.

"It's been a long time since I felt this nice feeling... fear... just to see her begging for mercy, I'm really glad. I'd like to get some information out of this little girl, so I'll know what's hiding in the depths of this treachery Hinotama mentioned about, it's time to get down to work" Yoru before putting Hana down... he would notice a strange magical flow in the woman after putting her down.

"How strange, this magic flow, it's so refined... not only that, I sense an incredible magical strength in this woman... ordinary mages don't have as much power as she does. That means, she is most likely the elemental of nature" I would pick up Hana and take her to their small camp "Anyway, no elemental can match my strength, I was really tired of seeing only water, earth, fire and air magic. Maybe in Japan... I can find more interesting things than I thought."

Yoru is now returning to Hinotama with Hana in his arms, thinking and smiling because of what happened at that moment. A character, who loves to see people suffer, being the main reason why he likes him so much. After a while, he observes Hinotama trying to break the rope that kept him tied.

-I pity you," he would release the demon.

-Why are you releasing me?

-Do you prefer to be tied up? I thought so. I just want to chat with you. -Yoru said as he laid Hana unconscious on the floor.

"What is this feeling, am I afraid for him?! I have never felt this in my life, I must admit he is a scary person, just seeing how he was able to destroy this tree with a single kick, gives a lot to think about, what will you be able to do?"

 -Are you listening to me?

-E... it's okay," Hinotama replied.

On the other hand, Hikari was reading some letters from her citizens quietly, until she heard a voice in her head... which was asking for help... this voice would assimilate it with Hana's voice, which would leave her doubtful at that precise instant. She would get up from her chair and go to the training room, where Tochi was...

"Something bad is happening, my intuition... says that something is going to happen to Hana, I shouldn't have sent her alone, but... it's not just a demonic presence that is there, I can sense one more person in the forest... Hana had mentioned that she had found one more person there Could it be him?" she would punch the wall angrily "You better not have done something to my friend Hinotama" Arriving at the training room, she would see Tochi transforming a large mallet into a sword

-Tochi, I need to ask you a favor of life and death.

-What's wrong Hikari? -She would turn the sword into a small rock, which she would throw to the ground, being absorbed by it.

-You have to go to the forest right away," after a few minutes... Tochi was heading at full speed to the forest.

"How were you able to send Hana alone Hikari? You shouldn't put so much trust in her, maybe she's your friend, but she's not used to combat..."

While Tochi went to the forest... Yoru and Hinotama were discussing, a little bit about the past, behind that betrayal and their relationship with the red-haired girl.

-Before all this happened, you had mentioned something about revenge, I want you to talk about it.

"I feel it is something unreal. Maybe if I can convince him he can help me fulfill my long-desired revenge, however, with so much strength something tells me he could change his mind at any moment."

-I was only betrayed by a friend of hers, I would like to start with my plan, but I feel I need some help to achieve it.

-Maybe I can help you with that. I've been bored all this time

"I already came up with several scenarios where I can make this person behind his betrayal suffer, I just have to wait to run into that person... besides, I would also have to think about how to access hell through this guy."

-I 'd love to see how this all ends," said Yoru as he lit a fire.

-Are you sure? You may be very strong, but the person who betrayed me is on the level of archangels.

-Who cares about that? -Yoru said with a cold look on his face.

"On the level of archangels? How ridiculous, that can't be compared to the power of a god."

After a while, Tochi had already managed to get into the forest, he would proceed to look for Hana... during a few hours of searching he found nothing, until he saw some footprints on the ground, which he would follow until he found Hana... which he would find hanging from a tree, begging Yoru to free her, which would make him have fun watching her, while his new partner, ate quietly. Tochi would make the decision to observe and analyze the situation hidden in a bush, before jumping into a possible attack.

-Set me free right now! -Hana exclaimed.

-Shut your mouth. I told you, the condition for release. Come on, answer my questions. -Yoru said.

-I told you I won't answer any of your questions! -said Hana angrily.

-Don't bother asking him, he's just as arrogant as Hikari. -Hinotama said.

"I had noticed it from the beginning, but, still, I will make you speak up, no matter how much you resist Hana, you will eventually fall into despair and give in."

Yoru would gently and very subtly take Hana's hair. He would look at it with contempt... and then smile...

-You have very well-groomed hair Hana, it would be a pity if something happened to it... -Yoru said deliriously.

-What do you plan to do? -Hana asked nervously.

-I told you... Answer my questions! -Yoru said while cutting a lock of Hana's hair. -I'll make you talk... by hook or by crook....

"This bastard... The situation has definitely gotten out of control. I have to help her immediately."

This thought Tochi as he prepared to make a leap, in order to save Hana, he would summon a large earthen mace to be prepared at all times.

-You are a monster! -exclaimed Hana.

-Is something wrong Yoru? -Hinotama asked, as he watched Yoru observe a part of the forest carefully, however, after a few seconds he would turn around again.

-I feel that someone is...

At that precise moment, Yoru had been hit and sent flying from the area where Hana was located, going through several trees after a blow given by Tochi with the mace, to then change it to a sword, this would leave Hinotama and Hana very surprised.

-What the hell?! -Hinotama wondered.

-Tochi! -Hana exclaimed in surprise.

-You, stay away! -Tochi said as he released Hana and pointed the sword at Hinotama.

Hinotama had already prepared to start the fight, but... Yoru's cries of annoyance would be heard in the distance....

-What was that? -Tochi asked.

These were like those of a very angry beast, which would leave everyone shocked, after those screams... Yoru would appear very angry with an incredible speed again, to attack Tochi with a lunge... who could miraculously defend himself from the attack of the black-haired man, however, the force of the attack was so strong, that he managed to break the ground and make him fly until he hit the ground, spinning several times and finally crashing into a tree.

-What force was that? -said Tochi after spitting blood.

-It's already the second time... I've been attacked and I can't react... damn... That... I won't forgive it..." said Yoru while looking angrily at Tochi.
