Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
From the hillside, one could see Sandgem Town below, where mushroom clouds continuously rose due to the explosions of magical energy.
Unlike the life-and-death crisis just moments ago.
Gray stood here watching as Deliora, resembling a demonic god, rampaged like a furious beast, attacking frantically but to no effect.
Gaal's figure moved gracefully, appearing in flashes throughout the town.
With a casual wave of his wand, Deliora was knocked down and left disheveled.
Though it didn't cause any substantial damage, the calmness of Gaal left a deep impression on Gray's mind.
Lyon clenched his fists tightly, staring intently at the town below.
Even though he desperately wanted to argue that Ur was the strongest mage, witnessing this scene left him speechless.
The demon that nearly killed Ur was just being toyed with effortlessly.
Lyon felt a sense of collapse within.
Ur, noticing Lyon's despair, approached him to prevent him from falling into a downward spiral, gently tapping his head.
"Lyon, I told you before. There are plenty of mages stronger than me on this continent. Our world isn't just limited to the Ishgar continent. The world's first mage guild was born in the Northern Continent. The strongest empire in the world, a superpower composed of over 700 magical guilds, exists in the Western Continent.
The world's best alchemists are all concentrated in the Southern Continent. They not only create magical trains, airships, and everyday magical items, but some can even refine a Dragon's heart into a magic crystal. I didn't mention these before just to avoid discouraging you. But the way you are now..."
Ur sighed softly.
"I don't want my apprentice to have such a limited worldview. Admitting that others are powerful is not something to be ashamed of. Only by recognizing your goals can you improve. There will come a day when your strength surpasses mine. And then what? Will you remain stuck in this remote area forever? To crown yourself the strongest mage in this backwater land? How ridiculous is that?"
Hearing Ur's words, Lyon sank to the ground, tears pooling in his eyes.
"But... but..."
He had always believed that Ur, who saved him from the magical beasts, was the world's strongest.
It was because of that belief that he chose to follow Ur to learn magic; what did that mean now...
Ur squatted down and rubbed Lyon's head.
"If I were truly the strongest in the world... Why would I let you get hurt? Then it would mean this world's strongest is pretty useless, right?"
Lyon looked up eagerly and exclaimed, "No! Ur!"
"I..."
But he didn't know what else to say.
Seeing this, Ur pulled Lyon up and smiled.
"Alright, Lyon. Look carefully. I don't want my apprentice to have such a narrow view. You must see more of the world. This is your new goal. The Fairy Tail mage, 'The Scholar' Gaal. He's only a few years older than you, and yet he's already an A-rank mage."
Lyon and Gray's eyes widened, watching the battle in the town, Lyon incredulously turned his head.
"No way! Ur! This guy is an A-rank mage?! You can't possibly be claiming he's weaker than an A-rank mage, right?! Deliora nearly killed us; how could that guy handle him so easily?!"
Ur looked slightly exasperated and replied, "While I have S-rank power... I'm a single-attribute mage, and you can see the limitations of that. Though my Ice-type styling magic is strong, the strength contained in Deliora's massive body and his incredibly high magical immunity make me almost indistinguishable from a regular mage. My ice can't trap Deliora, and my ice thorns can't even pierce his skin. If it were a space attribute, gravity attribute, or even a fire attribute mage, their damage to Deliora would significantly exceed what I can do."
Ur felt helpless. Her strength was among the top even in this far north.
But she had crossed paths with Deliora, a demon with exceedingly high magical resistance; even a fire attribute mage could still scorch Deliora under extreme heat. However, as an Ice-type, she couldn't freeze him and couldn't hit him either.
Ur turned to the town and continued, "But Gaal is different. The reason he's called 'The Scholar' is that he can learn and use almost all kinds of magic. When it first broke out a few years ago, it shocked the magical community across the continent. Though some questioned it, those doubts have vanished with time.
That's also why he, an A-rank mage, is more famous than S-rank mages. After all, ordinary mages typically have just one type of magic, maybe two or three at most; if they want more, they can only learn magical conversion, but the power of spells cast through conversion diminishes. Gaal, however, can learn everything, including advanced elemental magics like gravity and space, requiring extraordinary talent. Just now, the spell that transported us wasn't hard to identify—it was space magic."
Ur pointed to the town center.
"Look over there. Deliora was just pinned to the ground, and the surrounding land sank several meters. That's the work of gravity magic. That ground was solidly frozen due to the cold weather. Both are forms of magic, but while gravity magic can easily overwhelm Deliora, ice styling magic can't trap him. This is what's known as restraint.
Deliora's massive size brings forth power capable of ripping apart barriers made from ice thorns, yet he can't stand under gravity magic. Even in the current battle, while it may seem there's little actual harm done... Just in basic elemental magic alone, Gaal has already used several types, clearly toying with Deliora and testing his own strength. And as someone capable of learning and using nearly every kind of magic... He must have already thought out how to deal with demons."
Lyon gulped, watching the ongoing explosions below.
How incredible!
This guy is this strong?!
Able to learn and use all types of magic?!
How can someone like this even exist!!!
Down in Sandgem Town.
As Deliora was continuously toyed with by Gaal, even if his mind was clouded, he felt the biological instinct of rage.
Magical energy was building in his mouth as if it were free.
"Roar——!!!"
The terrifying surge of energy obliterated everything in front, piercing through the entire town and shooting towards the roof where Gaal stood.
In an instant, it reached Gaal.
The violent energy whipped Gaal's magical robes into a frenzy.
Gaal raised his wand, facing the incoming wave of energy and pointed forward.
"Reflective Magic: Prism."
A vertical silver magic circle appeared before him.
The next moment.
The raging energy wave crashed loudly against the silver magic circle in front of Gaal.
Immediately, the silver magic circle expanded several times, firmly holding back the energy wave.
Gaal remained unfazed as he raised his right hand, holding the wand and drew a horizontal line to the right.
The massive silver magic circle redirected the energy wave.
Whoosh—
It curved sharply at a ninety-degree angle before shooting off towards the distant snow-capped mountains.
Boom——!!!
Since the establishment of Sandgem Town, the giant snow mountain had been there, and now half of it was blown away.
The mountainside was leveled, leaving behind a massive pit.
Gaal, seeing Deliora charging energy again, lifted his wand and gently tapped it, releasing a laser beam instantly.
The violent energy erupted in Deliora's mouth, and his anguished howls spread across the mountains, but even so, it was merely a howl, still filled with furious vitality.
Seeing this, Gaal shook his head and said, "Truly tough-skinned and resilient."
Dragonite had been recalled.
Deliora was indeed tough, showing no signs of dislocation even after the energy exploded in his mouth.
Gaal reached over and gently shook the Gengar that had been napping on his shoulder.
"Wake up, it's time to work."
The Gengar in Gaal's palm opened its eyes groggily and sat up.
"Ha—"
Then it climbed up.
Swish!
Returning to its original size, the one-and-a-half-meter-tall purple chub stood next to Gaal.
"Ha!!!"
It appeared full of energy.
Gaal smiled, picked up the Poké Ball.
"Return for now."
A flash of red light engulfed Gengar as he was returned to the ball.
Then Gaal placed Gengar's Poké Ball in his left hand and retrieved another Poké Ball from his waist with his right hand.
Holding one Poké Ball in each hand, Gaal summoned the Galar particles exchanged from the system, merging them into the Poké Ball.
In the Pokémon world, only Galar region's unique Galar particles could allow Pokémon to Gigantamax; this evolutionary phenomenon could only be used in the Galar region, but Gaal's system was different.
The Galar particles were just a highly energetic item. As long as Gaal exchanged them and infused them into his Poké Ball, the Pokémon he possessed could Gigantamax anywhere, without needing a Gigantamax Band.
As the Galar particles infused into the Poké Ball.
The Poké Ball in Gaal's hands glowed with a purple light before expanding, and he tossed the two massive Poké Balls skyward.
Two dazzling streams of purple light shot up into the sky, suddenly causing dark clouds to gather, swiftly spreading out, with purple lightning flashing and rumbling amidst the clouds.
Crack!!!
With a thunderous sound, two bolts of purple lightning struck the ground, encircling Deliora.
The one that landed behind Deliora was Gengar.
As the purple light condensed, two massive purple claws emerged from the ground.
Then, the amplified Gengar, with its tongue lolling and a massive mouth nearly twenty meters wide, crawled up from below, looking just a bit shorter than Deliora, leering at him evilly.
Deliora's instinct felt a surge of danger; he turned to see that massive Gengar.
A question mark crossed Deliora's mind.
Is this guy the threat?
Suddenly, Deliora sensed something was off.
The threat to him wasn't this guy!
"Roar——!!!!"
An enraged roar erupted from in front of Deliora.
Urshifu(Single Strike Style/Gigantamax Form).
The Gigantamaxed Urshifu(Single Strike Style) transformed; its skin turned white, and fiery red stripes filled its body, making its demonic-looking head terrifying, nearly thirty meters tall.
Known as the embodiment of rage, its menacing appearance and roar were rumored to purge all evil from the world.
This was a legend from the Pokémon universe.
And indeed, with that deafening roar, the lingering evil left by Deliora was swept away. Deliora trembled, instinctively fearing what he saw.
Standing nearly thirty meters tall, the Gigantamaxed Urshifu(Single Strike Style) bore fiery red stripes across its body.
With a devilish visage, it locked its gaze onto Deliora, and surrounding it were clouds of red flames capable of burning away evil. Its massive claws extended toward Deliora, and its other claw was drawn to its side, accumulating red lightning and energy.
The overwhelming presence of the Gigantamaxed Pangoro made Deliora instinctively want to flee.
Seeing this, Gaal exclaimed, "Gengar! Gigantamax Phantom Haunt!"
The Gigantamaxed Gengar grinned wickedly, focusing on Deliora.
"Ha!!!"
Suddenly, immense psychic constructs appeared around Deliora, including tables, chairs, and tools, all emitting a deep purple glow, crashing down toward him.
Deliora attempted to defend himself but discovered these items ignored his skin, piercing right into his flesh.
A relentless pain coursed through him, driving Deliora into a frenzy.
"Roar!"
An explosion of violent magical energy erupted.
The dark demonic power solidified and surged from his body.
And this scene...
In the eyes of the Gigantamaxed Urshifu(Single Strike Style), only intensified its rage; it roared in reply:
"Roar——!!!"
Deliora's unleashed demonic energy was instantly suppressed and dispersed.
Seeing the opportunity, Gaal declared, "Pangoro! Gigantamax Death Blow!"
The Gigantamaxed Urshifu(Single Strike Style) let out a long howl, stomping the ground, shaking the very earth.
The very next moment.
It appeared right in front of Deliora, its massive claw pinning down Deliora's shoulder, while the other claw gathered red demonic energy, striking against Deliora's chest without holding back.
Boom!!!!!!
The red lightning and energy exploded, easily shredding Deliora's extraordinarily high magical resistance skin.
The enormous claw burrowed deep into Deliora's flesh.
The raging red energy and thunder coursed through Deliora.
It exploded with a tremendous force!

Translator:
Hi everyone, how's it going? As I mentioned in the synopsis, I'm a beginner. I've taken some creative liberties, such as putting all of a character's lines in one paragraph if they follow each other. Let me know if that's okay or if you have a better suggestion. I've also added line breaks when the text gets too long.
If I make mistakes with translations, names, techniques, or anything else, please let me know as soon as possible so I can fix them.
A Patreon is coming soon with over 50 additional chapters! Let me know if you'd be interested in that (I'm not sure how useful it might be).
