Danzo coughed awkwardly, trying to mask his discomfort. "Yoruichi, you can't be serious. The ninja world has never had an elder serve as a Jinchūriki."
Homura Mitokado nodded emphatically. "Exactly. This is entirely unsuitable!"
Yoruichi's smile didn't waver as he leaned back casually. "When I say you're suitable, you're suitable. Unless you'd prefer we use the young kunoichi we just captured from Kirigakure—what's her name again? Terumi Mei?"
The suggestion hit like a kunai, and the trio visibly stiffened.
"huh?!"
Danzo, Homura, and Koharu Utatane exchanged panicked looks, their faces turning sour.
Nearby, the massive, fiery form of Matatabi, the Two-Tails, growled. Her voice was full of disdain as she muttered, "I don't want to bond with these old relics. They smell like mothballs."
Before she could continue, Yoruichi delivered a swift kick to the giant cat's side, silencing her protests. "You're getting too mouthy, furball."
Danzo seized the opportunity, gesturing to Matatabi. "See, Yoruichi? Even the Two-Tails agrees! We're not a good fit!"
"Exactly," Homura added quickly. "Isn't there someone younger, like that kunoichi from Kirigakure? She'd be perfect."
Yoruichi's smile turned razor-sharp. "Oh, don't worry. If you don't choose, I'll do the choosing for you."
Danzo's hands clenched into fists, his face a mask of suppressed anger. Koharu looked ready to burst into tears, but none of them dared to challenge Yoruichi outright.
Nearby, Hatake Sakumo and Minato Namikaze watched the scene. Standing at the edge of the scene, they watched with thinly veiled amusement.
Sakumo crossed his arms, his lips curling into a faint smile. "Looks like Yoruichi's handling another 'Konoha elder issue.'"
Minato glanced at him, his expression thoughtful. "He's certainly… unconventional."
Sakumo chuckled. "Unconventional? That's putting it mildly. Still, I can't say I disagree with him."
Danzo, clearly sensing that Sakumo wasn't on his side, turned to him angrily. "Sakumo! Is this how your ANBU treat Konoha's elders? Does the Hokage know about this disrespect?"
Sakumo gave a lazy shrug. "Elder Homura, Yoruichi is currently resolving the issue of Matatabi. And if anyone here knows sealing techniques, it's him. He sealed the Nine-Tails with minimal effort. If he says you're suitable, well… maybe you should trust his judgment."
Danzo's face turned an impressive shade of red. "Trust his judgment?! Are you even listening to yourself?!"
Yoruichi's laughter cut through the tension like a blade. "What's the matter? Didn't you always preach 'for Konoha'? Now's your chance to prove it."
Before anyone could respond, thick wooden vines erupted from the ground, winding around Homura's limbs and pinning him in place. His protests died in his throat as Yoruichi raised a glowing hand.
"Don't worry, Homura," Yoruichi said, his voice dripping with mock reassurance. "This is all *for Konoha*."
"NO! WAIT!" Homura screamed, struggling desperately.
Matatabi's voice joined the chaos. "I refuse to enter his body! No way!"
"Shut it, furball," Yoruichi snapped, slamming her into the ground with a single punch.
Danzo staggered back, pale as a ghost, while Koharu froze in place, too terrified to move.
Yoruichi's chakra flared as sealing patterns from the Uzumaki clan appeared on Homura's abdomen, glowing with an ominous red light. With precision and force, Yoruichi drove his chakra into the seal, forcing Matatabi's essence into Homura's body.
The sealing process ended with a burst of light, leaving Homura gasping on the ground. His appearance had already begun to change—his eyes gleamed with a feral light, and sharp fangs peeked out from his mouth.
Homura's scream of rage echoed across the training ground. "YORUICHI! I'LL KILL YOU!"
Before he could take a single step, Yoruichi sent him flying with a casual flick of his wrist. Homura hit the ground with a sickening thud, blood streaming from his forehead. Yet his wounds healed instantly, thanks to Matatabi's chakra.
Sakumo arched an eyebrow. "Well, that's… one way to handle it."
Koharu took a shaky step backward, sweat pouring down her face. Yoruichi's earlier words echoed in her mind like a death sentence.
"Today, I'll kill you!"
Her knees buckled as a sudden sense of doom washed over her.
Before she could collapse entirely, a massive staff slammed into the ground between them. The dust cleared to reveal Sarutobi Hiruzen, his expression dark as he surveyed the destruction.
"What is going on here?" the Third Hokage demanded.
Koharu practically threw herself at him. "Hiruzen! You have to stop him! He's out of control!"
Yoruichi smirked but said nothing, leaning casually against the remains of a tree.
Sarutobi's sharp eyes took in the scene—the battered training ground, Homura's altered appearance, and the faint traces of Yoruichi's Mokuton jutsu.
Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru had arrived as well, drawn by the commotion. Each of them regarded Yoruichi with a mixture of curiosity and concern.
Jiraiya's jaw tightened. "This kid's getting more dangerous by the day."
Tsunade crossed her arms, her expression conflicted. "He's nothing like my grandfather or Tobirama. They valued order. This… this is chaos."
Orochimaru, however, couldn't hide his excitement. His golden eyes gleamed with fascination as he studied Yoruichi. "Such power. Such potential. What I wouldn't give to examine his bloodline."
Sarutobi sighed deeply, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Yoruichi, you've gone too far this time."
Yoruichi shrugged. "If you don't deal with the rot, it spreads. I'm just doing what's necessary. For Konoha."
For a moment, silence hung over the training ground. Sarutobi's gaze lingered on Homura, who was still trembling on the ground, and on the terrified Koharu.
Finally, the Hokage sighed. "You've made your point. But next time… try to be more subtle."
Yoruichi's smirk widened. "No promises."
And with that, the chaos settled—for now.
