Me and Elizabeth stopped at a healer's shed to see if we could heal the nasty slash across my eye that refused to heal by conventional mana. The seller was an old lady, probably in her hundreds with a face full of wrinkles and her head being almost entirely filled with grey hair. Upon seeing us the lady immediately started to speak in her shaky voice, "welcome young children, I assume you're here because of that?" She pointed to the gash on my face that was nice surrounded by green veins and let out a poisonous mist.
"Don't be afraid, come sit down.." she said, signalling at a wooden bench.
I sat on the bench and Elizabeth stood next to the old lady where the lady stuck out her hand and used a high class spell called appraisal. "Oh, I see.." she muttered to herself, now understanding my situation.
"It appears whatever weapon that cut you had a nasty curse placed on it.. that makes mana stop working entirely.." the old lady chimed pacing around the room..
"I'll give you 12 days left to live before the curse reaches your brain and.. splat!" She exclaimed, making me terrified for my life, Elizabeth's eyes widened and she pleaded to the healer.. "please save his life, I'll pay any price, do anything!"
"I'm not evil, If I could I would have saved his life but unfortunately I don't have the resources.. curses of this kind can only be healed by a special jewel found deep in the hearts of dragon kings..!" The old lady explain to her but Elizabeth refused the hear this.
"Then we'll get it ourselves.. he's my friend I can't just let him die because he wanted to protect me..!" Elizabeth screamed at the old lady.
"Alright then, but I must say that won't be a easy task.. dragon kings live in the ereasia continental circle.. also they are extremely powerful.. even the world's greatest mage struggled to kill the weakest dragon king.. I wish you luck.." the old lady said.
Elizabeth pulled me out of the room, and she pulled towards the docking port for a ship going to the ereasia continental circle.
"Are you insane?! Going to that place is like the Bermuda triangle!" A captain exclaimed after Elizabeth asked him.
"That was the last one.. it's no luck, they all said the same thing!" Elizabeth exclaimed, hugging me hard and sobbed into my shoulder..
"so, I heard your going to the ereasia continental circle? I'm in for a hefty sum!" A young captain exclaimed and immediately Elizabeth agreed, jumping into his ship and pulling me along.
After a full day of shipping the faint outline of the continental circle appeared at the horizon, it was a massive circle of magma and jagged rocks and towering mountains, the weather conditions were terrible, the ship shaked and rattled as we rode massive waves the size of tsunamis, a bolt of lightning crashed into the sea Infront of us causing a massive explosion of water that got into the boat, I held tightly onto Elizabeth's hand ensuring she didn't blow away as the winds made the sails billow and rip.
As we loomed closer the sky went from dark grey to completely black with a massive amount of rain pitter-pattering against the boat and the waves grew even bigger as if nature itself was telling us not to to go there, suddenly a massive creature burst from the sea it was roughly the size of a whale and it looked like a massive, red angler fish. it leapt towards us and I drew my blade, although in no condition to fight I leapt at the fish also and brought down my sword, it's skin as hard as tungsten but it pushed on my blade struggling against it skin but my determination never wavered and I put all my mana into an attack, bringing up my sword, it's blade gleaming in the little sunlight that bled through the massive clouds and it became extremely bright with lightning engulfing the blade itself and I brought it down as hard as possible, slicing the creature in two, and using it's body to leap back towards the ship, panting heavily, I struggled to breathed and I vomited a good litre of blood and I fell to the floor the gash in my face hurting extremely bad, darkness taking me..
